The most intriguing part about Joker, was that he was first learning about his origins as we watched, and it was agonizing. We didnt just witness Arther become the Joker, we witnessed Arther Fleck die and the birth of something entirely new and twisted. That is why the Joker was such a success. Such an amazing movie.

Gets me every time and the music makes the whole moment even better :) And when Celie and her sister Nettie are reunited at the end of "The Color Purple". *MY FAVORITES:* "Lord of the Rings: Return of the King" - Destruction of the One Ring and Sauron. I tear up every time I watch the moment when Sauron's tower crumbles and his eye explodes. "Evil Dead II" - When Ash says, "Groovy," after receiving his chainsaw hand. "Braveheart" - The, "That they may take our lives, but they'll never take our freedom!" speech. "Gladiator" - Maximus defeats Commodus before he is reunited with his wife and child in the afterlife. "Return of the Jedi" - Vader comes back to the Light Side and defeats the Emperor. "Toy Story" - Woody and the other toys scare the daylights out of Sid. "The Princess Bride" - Inigo Montoya finally defeats the man who murdered his father. "Harriet" - Harriet Tubman walks into freedom. "Forrest Gump" - Forrest's leg braces break off and he's able to run without them. "Back to the Future" - George and Lorraine share their first kiss at the dance. "Toy Story 2" - Woody's makeover. "The Truman Show" - Truman escapes to freedom. "The Pursuit of Happyness" - Chris is hired.

I've heard a theory that the reason why George was so easily overpowered on the first punch attempt but laid Biff out on the second is that he was likely naturally left handed, but was trained to be right handed in school because of the time period. Pair that with the added fuel of Biff laughing at him and _boom._

To me, this is tied for first as being the most perfectly scored scene ever. The majesty of the dinosaurs with Williams' music is almost overwhelming. It was made even more so because it was the first time those kind of effects had been used to look so real. The other first is E.T. and Elliot in front of the moon.

One of my favorites comes from Robocop. Ronny Cox's character has a gun to the head of OCP's president. Robocop, who is also owned by the company, is unable to act since Cox's character is also on the board of OCP. Then the old man says, "Dick, you're fired." And Robocop is able to shoot Cox's character out of the window.
