If anyone is worthy of being an idol it's definitely big Uncle George. He's one of the finest human to ever walk the planet. Muhammad Ali said that his whole "I'm the greatest" thing was a schtick, he never believe that. I used to, until I got more familiar with big Uncle George, now I know that HE is the King of Boxing 🥊forever! TWO ✌️ boxing careers, BOTH of them leading to him becoming the heavyweight champion of the world! I think he became as fine, and an even finer a man than his idol Muhammad Ali. Big Uncle George is my life hero too

Everyone expected him to say George Foreman, but he surprised some people when he declared that Earnie Shavers was the strongest and hardest hitter. Harder than George Foreman. I love how George pushes his opponent back and stands them there like, no no you stand right here so I can blast you. I like George's style better in the 80s and 90s, he was slower, he knew it and he didn't even care, he was so confident and assured, and he looked more effortless with his punches. I wish he would have fought like that when he was younger. And he had all that extra weight behind his punches in the 90s

Ok Furry is a giant talented with 34 fights most of them with some cartoon Tiktok fighters he's good and the only one for that generation but dont go so far Prime George was only in a bad day twice against Ali with fake ropes, trachtalk and Zair atmosphere against George. and with jimmy young the night when he saw Jesus LOOOOL its happen to be bad 3 or 4 nights when u have 81fights and world record of 67KO no one in this planet can be in the ring with prime George and will attack him dont matter u re giant or small u will defense and hope for a counterattack and the style of Furry not working with a steamroller like george he will press him to the death, Furry is tactical guy he cant give the same intensity in a fight like George did who can hit u with no stop 3minutes 12rounds untill he get u. Foreman was so strong for all others he make HW legends like amateur. compare Jimmy with Foreman in boxing world its a big joke ........ Berbick or spinks who Ali but have nothing to do with who was Prime Ali Fury will have only jabs like weapon to keep Foreman away for some rounds but jabs are like kisses for George, he was the only guy even u hit him very heavy he still attack u. i dont think that MR Furry will resist to heavy punches of that beast .

For sheer natural physical strength and brutal,heavy-handed punching power only Sonny Liston rivals Big George. Foreman was a truly great fighter.

1:46 that's as bad as refereeing gets...the dominant fighter had to look to the ref to say "Well? What do you want me to do? Kill the guy?" Foreman showed restraint and humanity...which is more than you can say for the referee!! George Foreman always reminds me of a farm worker....naturally strong, huge stamina...you could say a brute of a man...and that would be true I think...but also just natural genetic strength and a love for a fair contest...the heart of a lion and the stamina of an agricultural worker.

Because you were dead if foreman got you on your back foot. Foreman actually had excellent ring control in his prime, and was adept at cutting off the ring, even against the craftiest boxers. Ali talked about how he underestimated foremans footwork/ring control, and had to immediately adapt in their fight, after he realized he couldnt defend against foreman cutting him off, and came up with the ropeadope.

A prime George Foreman is one of the few boxers who I believe would've done well in the early UFC. The reason is because unlike other boxers, he's very difficult to clinch. He's great at stiff arming his opponent to maintain distance and if they sneak though somehow, he shoves them off. He also does the unusual cross arm to protect himself from heavy blows. On offense, the guy is a straight up slugger. He chops his opponents down like an axe to a tree. It's frightening to think what it would be like to get hit by his bare knuckles.

I could watch that Moorer knockout on a 12 hr loop. Atlas told him not to stand in front of Big George and the big arrogant clown insisted on proving how tough he really was. Holyfield wouldn't even do it. He got up on points and stayed moving in those last rounds. Smart. Moorer thought he could. Lesson learned...not really, he still insists it was a fluke when George himself told a fight analyst months before how he would end the fight. Shattered cat's mouthpiece and like 40 stitches in the mouth to repair the damage Foreman did.

Foreman didn't want the rematch. He lost to Ali in October 1974. Foreman didn't fight again until January 1976 & Ron Lyle knocked him down 3x in that fight. Foreman retired the next year until 1987

@@mongoslade277 Sure he did, Ali didn't want it that's why he fought Lyle instead. He also fought 5 guys in one night with Ali in the audience in 1975.

En un momento dado se habló de una posible pelea entre Tyson y Foreman, no hay color, Foreman en 3 asaltos lo saca del ring, Tyson era fuerte y rápido pero no tenía ni la pegada ni la resistencia ni la fortaleza de Foreman.

  • @johnyboy19685

Foreman would easily beat most of the heavyweights who ever lived maybe not Lennox Lewis. Think Tyson would give him a test. Liston would have beat him but very few would have obviously Ali beat him. The thing is with George he could hit extremely hard with both hands and he would bully you and push you around in the ring with his sheer physical strength. He also has a granite chin and could walk thro anything you threw at him he really was a very mean hard man ask anyone who shared a ring with him. Eva see Holyfield thought George had knocked his teeth out and this was George mark 2.

Once Foreman got past the first two rounds, Tyson would start to lose confidence. Those big shots would probably be too much for Iron Mike. Foreman definitely wouldn't be afraid of Iron Mike, either. A prime and focused Bowe would be just as much of a problem as Lennox. Fury would definitely be an interesting match up.
