6:15 - The ironic thing about this video saying Bruce Willis is "known as an action star," his biggest performance prior to "Die Hard" was on "Moonlighting." When he was cast as John McClane, the general reaction was "That guy does comedy! He's not an action guy! This is stupid casting!"

It’s certain that at least once in any Watchmojo video they’ll show that they don’t believe anything happened before they got old enough to see it themselves. Since most if not all of them were born after 1979, that’s not much, really. Now, I don’t have a problem with being too young to know about something, but a channel whose entire purpose is to make lists of information really ought to have researchers who know how to, y’know… research. But not only do all Watchmojo and related channels miss obvious historical facts, but they declare things that are obviously wrong with such gusto.

A lot of these picks seem not to understand that there were movies and tv shows prior to the 90s... Bruce Willis was a comedic actor before he was in Die Hard... Jonathan Banks was also one... he was in Airplane! even...

Martin Sheen had quite a few comedic lines in The West Wing. In fact the overprotective/exasperated father was part of his comedic tropes in the West Wing.

How the heck is Bruce Willis in this list? Before Die Hard he was a comedy actor. Look up the tv series Moonlight, he was the lead of the series. Edit: who the hell made this list? Michael Keaton? Also Brad Pitt being married to Jennifer Aniston during his episodes in Friends? They started dating after tnat appearence.

While this is an entertaining video & first made me believe that these weren't Cameos, but dramatic actors being cast in Sitcoms (Leslie Nielsen in Police Squad, Maurice Evans & Agnes Morehead in Bewitched & Many Others), I still can't be in agreement with all of your list, unless you narrow them as per time periods, etc. Even more so, given that you left out many Classical/Funny Cameo Appearances from I Love Lucy alone. Maybe I'm too old. I'd have definitely put in George Reeves, playing his Superman Character, after finding out that Ricky Ricardo has been with Lucy for 15 years, telling Ricky, "And They Call Me Superman" is hysterical, especially given his roles, also, in Gone With The Wind & Others. William Holden I Love Lucy is such A Masterpiece/Classic against his Dramatic Roles in Stalag 17 (Best Actor Win), Bridge On The River Kwai, Network, and Sunset Boulevard, to name a few. Moreover, many on your list, such as Michael Keaton, were Comedic Actors before they tried Drama. I still enjoyed watching, even though I had disagreements. Maybe, you can do A Video On Actors That Goofed On Themselves, Such As Gary Oldman. Another one could be Actors Goofing On Themselves in Movies about Other Movies That They Were In (I saw The Out-Laws, in which A Reference is made to James Bond by Ellen Barkin, to which Pierce Brosnan asks, Which One? She says #5, who is Brosnan Himself (after Sean Connery, George Lasenby, Roger Moore & then Timothy Dalton), to which He Replies, Good One. LOL

After years of being a heavy, Leslie Nielsen read for a part on "MASH" about a comically overbearing General in 1973. Seven years later the Team of Zucker Abrahamson and Zucker rolled the dice once more and cast him as an Airline Pilot in the outrageous Satire "Airplane!" Also on "MASH": Before he became McLean Stevenson's replacement at "The 4077th", Harry Morgan guested as an equally daft Commander. And pre "Barney Miller" James Gregory also stopped by "The 40 Double Natural."🤔😉🎤👨‍⚕️👩‍⚕️📺B.W.

you shouldn't really count actors playing themselves, and the ones in THE SIMPSONS deserve their own list. What counts as a 'serious actor'? Actors ought to be able to do comedy or drama, with the right script and direction; the danger is when 'comic actors' who behave as if their very appearance is creating paroxyms of laughter, go 'dramatic' using the same techniques, which don't convince (Robbie Coltrane syndrome). Anthony LaPaglia in FRASIER was incredibly wrong: A Mancunian talking like a cockney. Had the show's makers any interest in Britain, they might have explained that Simon Moon learned to read watching Bob Hoskins in the series 'On the Move', and thought it only worked if he did the voice as well.
