The Shinning

Time and Punishment, Nightmare Cafeteria, and The Shinning were all in the same episode (Treehouse of Horror V), and each had a recurring gag of Willie getting hit by an axe. One of my all time favorite episodes.

Devil Flanders: hey Bart Bart: hey

Homer: Marge, dear! Would you kindly pass me a donut? Marge: Donut? What's a donut? Homer: (screams and runs away in horror) Marge: (sees donuts raining outside) Oh, it's raining again.

I did love seeing Homer quoting Edgar Allen Poe. That's just hilarious. Also Bart going: "You know what would have been scarier than nothing? ANYTHING!!" Though I think nothing is pretty unnerving on it's own. Loved the 3D Homer ending, too. My favorite was "Send in the Clones", it was just the funniest one to me.

@@melissacooper4282 unfortunately Charles had passed about 8 years prior the parody 😞however! Vince Guaraldi who always made the music for the Peanuts provided the music for this episode and was pretty proud of it! So id say, Charles mightve actually enjoyed it

King Homer didn't even make the honorable mention list... hmmm. Homer eating Shirley Temple is one of the best scenes in the series history.

That episode with Jerry Springer on it was hilarious 😂 when Kang and Homer fought over Marge because Maggie was half Alien 😂😂😂

My favorites are when Bart and Lisa got superpowers, when Lisa became a snail for a few seconds, when Ned Flanders became a werewolf, the Jurassic World one, the one where the Simpsons were in a zombie apocalyspe, the one where Homer was in 3D mode, the one where Homer was the Grim Reaper, the one where The Simpsons meet The Simpsons from the Tracey Ullman show and the one where Bart and Milhouse could stop time

this video should be a lot longer, EVERY TREEHOUSE OF HORROR EPISODE IS THE BEST

Treehouse 22 frikin sucked segment 1 is boring and the ending sucks segment 2 is meh and segment 3 is the worst segment of them all its just a stupid avatar with simpsons characters

Best part was when Maggie (voiced by James Earl Jones) after axing Willie in the back, pulls out her pacifier and says, "This is indeed a disturbing universe."

“The Raven” is so educational to watch in school. The closest you’ll get to watch the Simpsons in class.

In grade 9 English, I watched the raven and the other two segments in treehouse of horror I. In French, which was taught by the same English teacher, which I had a year later (grade 10 French) we watched the one where homer communicated by passing gas, when Flanders was a vigilante because homer and the avatar parody. I also saw some Christmas episodes too

We watched that and the Devil and Homer Simpson in my English lit class in high school. Flanders being the devil is some of the best writing in the Simpsons 😂

My personal favourite one is the Evil Krusty Doll segment. That one makes me laugh a lot.

There will never be a better Halloween episode better then episode 5. Pure gold, and a masterpiece

HOMER3 is my favorite Treehouse of Horror segments. It is just so timeless to me. I find it funny where Homer ends up in our world.

I do like the treehouse episode where Krusty inadvertently caused a zombie outbreak from his burger squared, also the opening where Guillermo Del toro filled it in with so many pop culture references it's overwhelmingly awesome. I also like the one where they did a spoof of Freaks (1932) and the segments from treehouse of horror XX (20).

The one that’s scared me as a kid was the one where Willie was Freddy Kruger Type. nGL😂

While The Simpsons is obviously never gonna end, the producers should look up to the golden ages of the series for inspiration

"Oh it's raining again" is prob one of my fave moments in Simpsons ever. My fave Segments would be: the Raven segment, the shining, the monkey paw, nightmare on elm street parody and a clockwork yellow

The best treehouse of horror is the haunted house has classic horror movies references like the Exorcist 1973,the shinning and the poltergeist 😎👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👻👻👻🎃🎃

My favourite Simpsons Treehouse of Horror is "The Others" for both the return of the classic Simpsons, and the references at the end.

Treehouse of Horror 8 is by far the best Halloween episode in total, all three stories were so good ! And such a childhood favourite of mine too! 😅

I love, that in the show "RWBY", the giant ravenlike creature's of grimm are called "Nevermore"
