Winterclash 2024 is on and there has been loads of news in rollerbladind. Whole new wheel brands from the mind behind 4x4. T8-3 drop and people are saying it's skating edit of the year 2024. Julien Cudot and Nils Jansons join Cymatics wheels. Yuto Goto got a new skates from Roces. There is another new aggressive skate from Powerslide and Montre get his first pro skate from Iqon.

    7:52 The fact some of us older bladers really enjoyed the film, yet some weird Grandpas in our ranks didnt enjoy it. Like I commented that some of the tricks were soo stylish most of us who have been doing this for ages dont pull moves like that. I loved it

    T8 was so refreshing felt like you said a team skate vhs drop, I wish we got more "feature length" vids like back in the day . Also with the liners I wish we still had liner companies that made big obnoxious liners, like sifika, jug, and the old reign liners

    A lot of people in the early 2000s competitions (gravity games for example) had that set up. it was a ground control large frame, freestyle with some kind of big bullet shape wheels. Nice to see that JC is still rocking that 🤘 He's is the champ 🏆

    Wow you know when they say freaking time repeats itself no joke.. I'm 45 and I just got back skating with half my friends from the old 612 crew in Minneapolis. I have one pair of friend that has a pair of old roses he cut off the freaking middle of wheels in 94

    I know people have a go at waving arms and stuff but that is what absolutely makes Joe's backslide incredible (to me at least). It's so wild and unhinged, I absolutely LOVE that one.

    10:45 Dunno why Montres pro skate looks like Fila Jerry Stackhouse spaghetti sneaker. Like im kinda for it because of that, but then im like... I gotta know the inspiration on this skate. I still liked his USD Janoski the best. The Janoski just had a resurgence it woulda been cool if Icon did something like that skate, how Gawds did Frankys USD spizike.

    A handful of people make it work. A lot of the pros do other jobs for the brands they represent, outside of this people have part or full times jobs. I’m sure there is a way more people could be full time but rollerblading hasn’t worked out how to do it yet
