The best part of the exploding barbwire deathmatch finish is how Eddie STILL sells it. He's done commentary for Dark Elevation the last few weeks and he flips out whenever someone's pyro goes off. It's fantastic.

Thats how you know Eddie's a force of nature when it comes to wrestling characterization. Like by now you would have expected he and everyone else to have forgotten about the pyro bit and at best say "oh he got over it". But nah, man still plays it up to this day.

Literally the only positive about that whole situation was that it happened to pretty much the only two guys who could could spin something positive out of it. Which they did. Their promo the week after was great and Eddie's fear of pyro is actually gold.
