I think that almost all people interested in minimalism and/or to find good habits with everything in life are lazy but quite smart! Because with minimalism you have less to do, especially if everything has its place and you have good habits installed as a habit means that you just do something without really thinking and that takets less effort than thinking about what to do next 😊

Right. It took sooo much effort and dedication to declutter and reach minimal. But now that it's done I can truly sit back and be lazy. Quickly cleanup every evening. But after that it's all done and we can relax.

@@MagicalMandi Yes, exactly! Just make sure to always declutter. Like one thing into the wardrobe means one thing out… Then you never have to declutter a lot again. Just a small effortless habit!

I do agree. I guess for me what I dislike so much is feeling “interrupted.” I think it’s smarter to just make systems that help you take care of yourself without having to always stop and start over and over again so much. I like to focus on whatever I’m up to and just get lost in it for awhile, but I reckon the body and the house and the kids or Job or pets still have needs tho. Lol. Like yes. I’m often thirsty but nah. Not going to so much trouble just to get myself a sip of water tho. 😅😅

Picking up as you walk around the house is the easiest way to clean. When you leave a room take something with you the needs to the room that you are going to next. Simple!

One thing I love about apt living is having a “give away spot”. I keep a couple shelves on a bookshelf for giveaway stuff and when it gets full, bring it downstairs. Also great for some nice freebies and if I change my mind about them, very easy to put back in the give away area because I didn’t spend any money on it.

Minimalism helps me cope with the fatigue from autoimmune issues. Less to cope with- more life for living! Great tips. I need to do more heat mapping- it’s a great way for clothes- the hanger trick but spices and toiletries would be good to try.

I love your heat mapping idea. I did turn the hangers around at the beginning of the year, and I did get rid of a blouse or two. There’s a couple I just can’t stand to get rid of because you’re so pretty! But I never thought of doing that in other parts of the house. I love what you suggested in the bathroom

I appreciate your channel very much. You offer unique and important insights. For instance, in today's video, you address how important it is to challenge misconceptions about tasks -- and this is so true! Behind procrastination is so often a false idea that the task will be difficult and dreadful.

“Embrace the lazy” Lol. I knew I did good when I subbed here. 🤣🤣 The water bottle thing is so true tho. I’m so lazy, I hate having to get a cup and get Ice and then get the drink. And you KNOW I hate then having to wash them. 😂 😂 I really prefer to drink out of my water bottles. I keep about 3, Bcuz I like it cold. And I like it to just already be cold for me and ready to drink right then. 😅😅 (“Bad girl” here who can’t totally give up soda-I chuck it in the fridge and later drink it straight from the can. Lol. I have a coffee story for that too. Lol. I now drink iced coffee most days Bcuz I got so tired of having to get up so much to reheat it. 😅😅 Plus I can just go ahead and have my necessary “double shot” all at once and sip leisurely instead of brewing twice. Lol.

@@MiaDanielle Lol. Yah. I’m noticing that I mostly just drink water. My one coffee and the occasional soda. I rarely drink anything else Bcuz...well first the cup...and so on. Just don’t wanna ever do it unless I have a mondo craving for a milkshake or hot tea or kool aid or such...once in a blue Moon. 😅😅

I used to always use water bottles at home, but hate washing them (no dishwasher), so went back to my fav mug instead. I rinse and reuse it a lot before I wash it though 🙈 I try to keep one cup on the dining table per kid as well and not have stragglers around the apt, lol.
