I love Forever Young as my key horse 1st and 2nd with Sierra Leone,Catching Freedom and Just a Touch who probably can beat him. 3rd and 4th is wide open. As good as Fierceness is I dont he can go the distance pedigree wise.

The best price in the race did not even get a mention. Just Steel did receive a slight mention but Mystic Dan was left out. Note the odds of the improving Just Steel, who beat Mystic Dan, to the odds of the latter. Tells me "Dan" has improved even more.

Sierra Leone, Gun Runner is his sire whose sire Candy Ride retired after injuries to his foot and ankle. He set the track record at Del Mar in the 1 1/4 mile Pacific Classic in his last race, he was undefeated in 9 races. So I'll take Sierra Leone because of his bloodline.

Both Fierceness and Sierra Leone are incredible contenders.Many times, horses that aren't the top favorites pull off stunning upsets. So, while these two are definitely horses to watch, the rest of the field has some remarkable talent too.
