Hi, I'm 13 and I just hate how everyone treats me like a little kid! I have depth in my feelings too! Reading really helped me. Started out by Enid Blyton books, but my first Young Adult book was Divergent... And oh! How I fell in love with that book. It's a mix of everything. I don't know whether you like it or not, but could you do a separate video on it? Edit: I'm 15 now and i know this comment was kinda cringe lol forgive my old cringey self 😅Also, I was never asking to be treated like an adult, but being treated like a baby isn't great either right? Sorry to the pissed adults in the replies.

@@haura309 Good for me that my parents don't really know much about YA books, so I just name the book, and they usually buy it for me as they view reading as good (thankfully). This worked for me till the time I was 13, but then, one fateful day, me and my friends were watching the movie adaptation of a YA book 'Divergent', and there began the make out scene, which we were just gonna skip when my mom entered the room. She knew we were watching Divergent and she was cool with it, but she didn't know there was a small scene like that... But surprisingly enough she believed that we were gonna skip that part (which was true!!) and she didn't ban me reading YA. I guess it's just that I've talked to my parents about quite a lot of things, and they believe that I am pretty mature. And they understand that YA doesn't just focus around romance, but it's main focus is on the world and characters and stuff. I guess maybe, just maybe you could ask your parents for a book that is YA, without actually telling them WHY it's YA. And if your parents are like mine, they wouldn't go over details of the book (I hope not). But I say books like Divergent, The Hunger Games, The Fault In Our Stars, etc. don't have too much of the romance element or violence element that your parents may not like. Just maybe read the basic description written on the behind of the book (which is usually clean) if they ask you for a description. And yeah, sorry for the EXTREMELY lengthy answer lol

@@nirmitimore590 Same, but all you have to do is make them believe that it won't. Like do small little things that make them think you're mature, etc. If they believe that, they'll probably let you read those books.

It's wierd, when I started listening to Aristotle and Dante I wasn't able to complete it, may be something was wrong with me. But then I picked it up again, I just fell in love with it. Have just bought a physical copy.

@moon🌚 well might be boring for you but it's a everyday experience and a throught journey of life of a holocaust victim and her family . Anne is girl with numerous thoughts and unability to make friends so she decides to write down her thoughts in a diary .it's amazing people say it's overrated but it's actually not their is reason why it is one of most sold books in the world the girl (Anne) has the ability to talk with people her communication skills are awesome even through a book you feel like you are talking to her

I would suggest "Murder mystery of Reporter" by Jaiprakash Jha. It's a wonderful book to read in the mystery detective genre, a must-read for mystery lovers by Agatha Christie. Unlike normal crime thriller this book doesn't focus on brutality of the crime but it focuses on the mystery. Teenagers would love this book.
