I love the Classics a lot. So, I would recommend "Crime and Punishment", if you haven't read it already. It has several translations. I have read Whishaw's. But the most popular translation is Pevear and Volokhonsky's translation. ( This translation is a bit more modernized but this couple is the best Russian translator out there.) Read whatever translation you love. The novel strikes moral dilemmas. Other ones would be Demian by Hermann Hesse and Lost Boy by Christina Henry, which is a kind of dark take on the well-known novel "Peter and Wendy" by J.M. Barrie. We all love Peter Pan but it is from the POV of Captain Hook who is often antagonised in the novel or our childhood stories and cartoons. These are interesting books, but have a darker concept which I am in love with. Btw I love your videos Prajakta. I have been a fan since years. Love a fellow reading enthusiast. ♥ ♥ LOVE LOVE 🧡🧡
The cruel prince and the whole folk of the air trilogy is really great if you are looking to get into enemies to lovers but the romance is a sub plot it's more about political intrigue. Hope u have fun reading❤

Oh, if you feel like stepping into reading series, I definitely suggest you start reading Throne of Glass by Sarah J Maas! It's my favorite book series. It's an amazingly written fantasy book series with strong characters. It is not known for its spice but the story, the world, the twists, and the character development is incredible.
I am also into spicy romance novels and I never have found quite a replacement for the Fifty shades of grey series (movies were shit ad compared to how beautiful and sexy the books were). Then I found the Crossfire Saga by Sylvia Day. OH MY GODDDDDDDDD! Nothing can ever, ever beat that series in terms of the sexiness and storytelling. I sometimes go back and re-read certain sections, it is that good! You have to, have to try it Prajakta!

I just finished this book, Honey & Spice by Bolu Babalola, and I think you’re going to love it!!! It follows the fake dating trope (I know it’s so over done at this point), a university romance with the perfect amount of Spiceee!!!! Babaloa’s writing is humorous, witty and engaging! I could not stop reading this book, and I now I can’t stop talking about it!! You should definitely add this to your TBR!!
I agree, it's a total deep rabbit hole. You just keep getting into it. 💯💯 Now it's my new obsession hopping from one book to another.
Prajakta, I too am a heavy romance reader and to divert myself from that zone i like to read fantacy and thriller. I would recommend you 1. The Silent Patient (I guarantee you, you can't stop until you finish. It's a great read to get you out of reading slum) 2. Harry Potter (the best book series ever made, you know) 3. A good girl's guide to murder series 4. Six of crows (Duology) 5. And then there were none(Agatha Cristie, the best murder mystery writer) 6. ACOTAR series(the most hyped fantacy book in booktok. You must have heard about it) I hope you like my recommendation and dive yourself into the fantacy and murder mystery world.
I see you've finally joined the 'read as much as romance books' universe and already read the hyped up books at the moment. For this, I'm soooooooooo happy I can't explain. So I really want you to continue this and read Icebreaker by Hannah Grace, Say you swear by Meagan Brandy, Ignite by Melanie Harlow. They all can be read as standalones and I promise you would enjoy these.

Just finished "Verity" today, seems like it's gonna take some days to get over it. This is a mixture of thrill, romance, fear and everything. OMG can't explain. You can take a chance, you won't get disappointed for sure.
I've read quite a lot and even I felt like coming out of it after a point. The problem with coming out of it is the danger of going back to the "screen" I'm currently, back to screen, into BLs, especially ones on KZread on the GMMTV channel. If you want, try 2gether the series, Shipper, Theory of Love, Not Me, and Midnight Museum (ongoing).
These channel is highly addictive because of her hardwork and dedication and also because of her cute smile ❤❤❤️

"The Spanish Love Deception" is a fantastic read that will appeal to fans of steamy romance novels. It's well-written, engaging, and full of passion and intrigue. Elena Armas is a talented author, and I look forward to reading more of her work in the future.
she is so adorable ❤ i love her way of talking and her acting too love you ,love from rajasthan ❤❤
I’ve felt sooo much over every book that I’ve read that it makes me forget now the feelings and idk why I don’t write reviews coz idk I just fall in love with every one of em and honestly I started reading the YA fiction after many years of reading my children novels like enid and dickens and then suddenly one morning I was reading MERCILESS SAINTS. Me who WAS not a fan of reading on my phone completely got addicted to reading on phone due to that one book and I haven’t stopped. And all of them have a piece of my heart
I have till now had always avoided fantasy fiction, you know the kinds with gothic covers and weird names. I think they are called dark fantasy though I'm not sure. So 20 days ago randomly surfing YT, came across Shadow and Bone S2 promotional videos, binged the show (loved it) and IT WASN'T ENOUGH. I read the Six of Crows Duology by Leigh Bardugo ( part of the Grishaverse that SaB is based on) and it was so good! Since the Harry Potter universe, Grishaverse is the only verse I'm so invested in. There are so many little details, it keeps you hooked. Also the writing is impeccable. You should try it. Though read the books first. Edit : If you enjoyed Bridgerton, you can divulge into Historical Romance.

Try YA fantasy! They're effectively romances but set in the backdrop of some kind of war or good vs evil fight, aaand the characters usually have powers. Great way to transition away from romance without giving up on the romance because you're just adding in other elements like suspense and magic. Try Sarah J Maas or Tomi Adeyemi books, they're fun!

I’d recommend reading ‘the inheritance games’. They’re really fast paced, fun and have short chapters. ‘Knives out’ vibes for sure! ✨
The Seven Husbands Of Evelyn Hugo and She Gets The Girl are really great romance reads and u should definitely read them
Let's vote for prajaktas hard work 🎉🔥🔥
13:05 that’s all happening with me too after entering into this romance books phase😂
you should try Penelope Douglas ... You must love it. Her writings are bit more spicy, but they're excellent. And also Christina Lauren's books. I've read all the Ali Hazelwood's books earlier and even every book you've mentioned in this video. Contemporary Romcoms are my favourite genre.❤
Emily henry is my fav author when it comes to the romance genre, i love all her books but books lovers is the most fun and beautiful but her other books beach read and people we meet on vacation are amazing too but on a more emotional side but if you like cute romance then you should try brown sisters trilogy
I read a book called 'you have reached Sam ' and what book man! 💕 And now I am reading 'it ends with us'

Your consistency and quality of content never disappoints ❤❤
I think you should read the Six of Crows duology. It's not quite quick or light😅 but it's an awesomely smart and well written storyline (with hints of romance here and there) so I'm a 100% sure you'll love it and you'll find your 3rd book boyfriend in it😉 love love❤❤
Book recommendations incoming: Read cozy fantasy like: Every Heart a Doorway - Seanan McGuire or Watch Over Me - Nina LaCour Or contemporary fiction: There's No Such Thing as an Easy Job - Kikuko Tsumura Also, when you come back to romance, read Book Lovers by Emily Henry.
I love this 😂😂 I love how you talk about books!!! Please more videos like this 😭😭❤️❤️

Ugly love is the worst!
You should read The Fault In Our Stars. Definitely a must read book and I promise you will literally end up in tears because the book is sooooo good.
I would love to see prajakta reaction on haunting and hunting Adeline series or u can even make a video when mom comes to know what romance you read that would be worth watching ❤😂😂😂😂 love love prajakta ❣️❣️
Make an Instagram highlight dedicated to all the books you read. ❤
You could also read "It only happens in the movies", it's a cutesy romance set in high school. Another book if you are into the murder mystery set could be "everything I never told you"
U r so sorted in life Prajakta cause u got the good exposure of life, friends, quality people around, good education and healthy and happy upbringing....
You should read IT ENDS WITH US alsoo❤❤
You should definitely read 1) ARCHER'S VOICE 2) LOVE AND OTHER WORDS 3) BEFORE WE WERE STRANGERS 4) UGLY LOVE 5) IT ENDS WITH US

Hi Prajakta, I would suggest 'All the Light You Cannot See' It is a very visual read. You will get to see the life of a blind French Girl and a German Boy who explore the hidden depths of human connection and the power of hope in the darkest of times.
I am soo glad you made this..I absolutely love romance novels and I love you!!!!
Hey Prajakta, thanks for doing the book videos. It surprises me (in a great way) to see how two very different personalities (you're a content creator and I'm a computer science researcher at Harvard) can wildly resonate on the same books! There's a huge overlap between the books you've covered in this video and the ones I've read and my reviews EXACTLY MATCH with yours! :) This brings me to suggest two of my favorites by Colleen Hoover that changed my perspective and brought me to the wildest of my imagination. The first is "Verity" which completely redefined "creativity" for me! And the second is "It ends with us" which made me think about how any romantic people (like us) should never get lost in a way that can harm us. If you've time, do give them a read and let me know your thoughts.

I love that you're sharing this. Because I relate to this so much rn 😭😭 I too have reached a point where I can literally predict what happens next hahaha
YOU DESERVE EACH OTHER by SARAH HOGLE. This is my favourite book. I can't emphasis enough on how effin great it is. It's so so so fun and real and I love how the characters aren't perfect you know but it's so wholesome too. It's best for a light read and I can assure with all my life that you'll enjoy how funny it is.
Hey, hi prajakta di!! You are really great... I really appreciate your simplicity and hard work of balancing btw you tube and work!!! I'm a school student and I know that I should focus on my studies, but don't know why I am not able to focus on it, I am getting distracted so much!!! Is it normal?? Can you please give me an advice di!!!#sawaalsaturday

No coho book please, they've good writing style but I don't think you should you know like recommend anyone, more like toxic ,I've read coho books actually I started from them I liked them but as I read other and learned that , they're full of toxicity like that not a thing to romanticize please, I'm just saying they are far better books than coho like Lauren Asher, Ana haung, Ryunx, tessa Bailey ,mariana Zapata and many more 💓
Romance section is a rabbit hole it keeps getting better and better books that make u feel so much its a drug 😂 loved the video . This level of spice is like mild spicy as u dive deeper things are wild wild here .

If you loved the fine print you should definitely read "tearm and conditions" and the "final offer" the same book of Dreamland series
Okay so watching this I realized that you don't know that the fine print is a trilogy.... the 2nd book is called terms and conditions and the 3rd book is called the final offer..... I really loved these book
