Maria, what a beautiful contribution to our hobby. So many of us enjoy keeping notes about our fragrances. It actually appeases me when I can't afford to make any new purchases. I bought five, one for each of my fragrance categories. I didn't think one would have enough pages.

How long did u have did u have to macerate? My Casablanca a month and half macerating is pure chemical smell unusable joma shop said it’s fine? It’s not fine but I want it to be like sweet apple that is supposed to be

@@julie-bn8mv It’s probably been a month or so. I learned online to shake the bottle, turn it upside down and spray until it stops spraying. I’ve done it for a few bottles so far and I really think it helps!! Hope it works for you! I love Casablanca, hope yours will turn out perfect!!🥰

Ive given up on middle eastern perfumes because there’s always a floral or woody touch I can’t get to terms with. I’ve had my Pistachio for 2,5 months and it’s still a white floral…… unfortunately.

Congratulations on making the journals! It’s a fantastic idea. I wish that I had one and had written down initial thoughts about many of the ME perfumes. Seeing how much they change is a part of this hobby that I especially enjoy. The only way that I think that you could improve this is for it to be spiral bound so that it can lie flat while writing. This is a fantastic idea. I was looking at my collection just yesterday and thinking how silly and frivolous and I should stop because no one needs this much perfume. Watching this video reminded me of the joy my hobby brings to my life. I love it. I love this hobby and I especially love this community. Thank you for the inspiration to continue something that I enjoy.

The journals are beautiful!!!! Congratulations! Personally, I will be taking mine to Office Depot to get the paperback (softcover) on a spiral binding, and then I would laminate the covers. That way I can lay it completely flat.

I absolutely love Mohra silky roses!! It’s such a gentle fragrance. I’ve also been loving Hayaati Florence by lattafa! This one is a candied grapefruit that smells so good. Very lady like but also sweet and holds up well in hot weather.

How does it last for you? I really love it but it becomes a skin scent in less than 2 hours on me. I have had it for at least 6 months at this point so I am not sure it’s longevity will improve at this point.

The two ME fragrances that I reach for Summer are Swiss Arabian Shaghaf in the clear bottle. I ordered Shaghaf Oud and was sent the wrong one, and I didn’t like it at all. Nothing like SO. They sent the right one, and I just put the clear one in my drawer. Lo and behold it morphed into a beautiful light fresh scent that I find myself reaching for a lot. The longevity is not where I want it to be but it’s not bad and I think it’s getting better. I really like it. The other Summer fragrance is Musamam White Intense. Wow! This perfume smells like something that would cost in the $400 range or above. It’s fantastic. It makes me want to try the brown one because it sounds great as well.When I hear people describe MWI it blows my mind because I don’t get tropical or coconut. I don’t get creamy either. I get a rather sharp but smooth not screechy not jagged, but a sharper, smooth incense like palo santo , cedar mixed with floral and benzoin . Truly beautiful. It smells really expensive. It smells niche. I don’t think it’s a safe blind buy unless you know that you like a strong, mature woody scent. It is definitely unisex, it would be so sexy on a man. The presentation is stunning. I struggled with throwing the beautiful case away but I can’t keep everything. I know some people think the bottles are too much and tacky but I love them. 😍 ME houses are producing such quality product with stunning packaging and for so much more budget friendly. The western designers are so expensive, the prices are going up and up. Much of the time the juice is seemingly weak and not long lasting and the bottles/packaging doesn’t match the price tag. I am not in the position to pay over $200 for a fragrance. Now, I don’t feel like I am missing out on anything. I haven’t tried Julianna’s yet but I haven’t heard anything but praise. Congratulations on the journals that is a fantastic idea.💡

Great Idea Maria! I log all my perfumes on a google doc alphabetically by house. This is so I can quickly check what I have when i am out and about and tempted. I love this idea of creating notes about the experience of the perfume. I was never sure how to go about it, but this is fantastic!

When I first got bright Peach it was very green smelling to me, after having it for a couple of months its becoming more sweet.

I think it's fantastic you've made a journal. That is a huge undertaking and will be helpful to so many. I already have a small journal that is just lined paper as I like to write a lot of my own notes and musings on where a fragrance takes me. I think this will be so helpful especially for beginners, just learning to record their impressions. Perfume sure is a wonderful hobby and so much fun. As an illustrator and graphic designer I find those journals super cute and awesome!! I know I wouldn't use them myself, but I'm wishing you the best 😊 I'm on the lookout for some of these perfumes as well, I currently do enjoy Montaigne Coco and the local, greek renditions of bitter peach and yum pistachio (I love them both!!), but I'm also gravitating towards "blue", "male" perfumes, when the temperatures rise. What a fun idea! The journals look so cute! Gonna have to get one! I just purchased Chants Tenderina. I love it so much. I live in central Texas and it’s so hot and humid here. I also have Bade Al oud Sublime. I’ve let it macerate 3 months. At first all I got was a strong woody note at dry down. I wore it to bed last night and in the morning I thought, wow…I smell good. It has changed a lot. I get the sweet apple but still the woody note. I think it will be amazing to wear in the fall here.
