I wont fall for the trick! Pushing off Adventures might seem smart to ease up mythic, but aggainst other decks this wont do as much as aggainst adventures. Nice deck tho

That first adventure player hurts so much to watch. Why tf would you waste a double wish on cards that expensive? You basically give your opponent extra turns if you dont get cards you can play the same or next turn you tutor them.

By the way, Ugin can kill ANY serpent. CMC of seprent is always 0 when it's on the battlefield. Doesn't matter how much you paid for it when casting it.

@@st0mpy77 no one reaches magic by just that. You need to know how to pilot your deck, also, mythic as a lot of players just trying things out since they are already in mythic, so maybe he was trying adventures out but reached mythic in other deck.

What I’ve learned from this channel: Using 4 mythic cards on brazen borrowers is a good idea.

i have seen enough dimir counter decks in standard. It's nauseating to play against them. ^^ "Oh you can just wait and have all mana? Cool, Cool, Cool.... :(" This deck wins even more with counter spells in it.

Literally built this exact deck on ikoria launch, have it in a deckbox all foiled except I have Ebon Legion knights in it right now instead of mamba, so fun!

I built a version of this deck after watching. Some people won't even play against it. Opponent used Duress first turn, saw my hand, and conceded.

Esper control with doom foretold and dance was literally one of the top meta decks during eldrane / theros standard but okay.....maybe you should actually follow competitive magic

Sweet deck, nice gameplay! The video was a bit long and I was short on time, so even on 2x speed I had to watch it over two days.

I think you had lethal at 34:15. If you mutated the shoreshark in hand onto the nightbonder and bounced the secret keeper, you would have gotten 5 extra damage in.

Got to mythic with the adventures list, big thanks for that cgb! Still, my heart (and my eternal soul and firstborn child) lies with Dimir, so this deck is right up my alley. Looks like you had fun with it, which is always great to see too! Good thing I crafted a good number of Dimir flash cards, gonna give the deck an old spineroo as I patiently wait for that rogue tribal when zendikar drops.

TIL you can drop cunning night bonder to block a counter spell of your creature.

In 10:22 you can see the the borrower (and it's copy) target the Battra. What if one mutates Sea-Dasher Octopus *on top* of it? Will it be a different creature, therefore let borrower (and it's copy) fizzle, since the chosen target does not exist anymore?

I'm fairly new to MTG; can someone explain why the Borrower dies @10:27 instead of going to adventure land? Thanks! 😊

I forgot how annoying temur adventures was. And temur adventures omnath. I actually beat the quite a bit with me dimir flash. Though it had cards also from Zendikar rising

Why are there still issues with the art from the Adventure creatures? Eldraine has been on Arena for almost a solid year and still the basic art will often show up on the stack with the showcase border. I don't get it.

Last game is why Simic adventure should put Run Afoul in the wishboard

Thanks. That was me, and I was in a panic wondering how to cope. It was only the second time I faced a similar deck, and the first time I got off easy having the tools to mill the opponent for 36 in one turn - of course not until after I had earned that bouncing with the Borrower just let my opponent do their stuff all over again. In what was my first game ever getting the pleasure to play CGB, you can tell I was flustered by my misclicked attack-all that, yes, I did regret, but not sure I wouldn't have lost the following turn anyway. Run Afoul is going in, thanks! Glad to see CGB's laugh at my delayed "Your Go", even though at that late stage of the game it wasn't clear that it was because I knew the code for a proper "Hello CGB!"

I still want to see Brokos in this deck, but it doesn't have flash naturally and is green, it takes a lot to make that work.

Light from Stars that are distant and of the right temperature is Redshifted but the light itself is not red. Nice pun.

Is Jeskai Lukka any good in Standard 2021?

Why at 1:01:18 does the Robber of the Rich not get a card? CGB looks to have 3 cards in hand. His opponent only has one card when the attack is declared. What am I missing?

Uhhh. It's obviously a common deck archetype called Dimir Mash (Mutate + Flash).

Saw this several times today, while farming my 15 wins, using CGB's white lifegain deck... come to CGB's channel, and understand why :) Just now starting to watch the video, but I owned every single game with CGB's white weenie lifegain deck, and had about 60% win rate versus clover, so I'll probably stick to white lifegain, for now. About to watch the video though, maybe will try the deck...

Oh I knew what was coming and that I was getting destroyed! I didn't have a clue how to cope. Bouncing CGB's bat stack would just let him get to do it all over again. It was me, taking a moment's breath to signal "Hello CGB!", although it came so late in the game I'm not sure he recognized it as such.

Gee thanks, CGB. I made an anti-monred, anti-planeswalker token jank deck to ladder with and this deck plowed me over like nobody's business. I guess tons of people just craft your decks and take them straight to the ladder. One had Umori+Dirge Bat, so I think this was your deck. But the Umori was maindeck so maybe not.

CGB can you play jeskai?
