The snake is long -- 7 miles.

It feels similar to the Blood Rush / Bloodletter deck, where the deck wins sometimes just because it has good cards, even without the combo. The combo is more 'Oh shit, it happened, that feels good!'

@@jasonslade6259 True enough. And they both have alternate casting costs (via Prototype and Adventure), so you don't feel like they're dead cards if you draw them early.

I just played against this deck yesterday. My opponent turn 2 Snorsed, turn 3 attacked without saddle drawing the Shadow and conceded. Now I guess I understand what they were going for but I was really confused when it happened 😂

Love how it asked if he had fun against mono-red before he was allowed to do the combo. XD

51:37 I liked it when you got to fly over the top of the opponents creatures but also got to fly over the top of the opponents creatures

Thing about the snake-horse, is in the games you Saddled him, he still won you the game. It's a card draw engine, even when it doesn't deal 15 face damage. Card draw engines win you games.

Yeah, card actually looks respectable as just a Dark Confidant that needs to attack, but can conditionally make your opponent pay the life tax. It pulls its weight, which is kinda all a 2-drop needs to do.

Quit Arena a couple of months after this card was released, the dumbest design tired of facing it and killing it, stealing it, copying it. Should have cost 1 and 3 blacks or even 4.

I literally just organized my bulk a day before this video I pulled the bronco stamped with my prerelease and scanned it it wasn’t worth a dollar so I didn’t put it in my binder literally this video drops and I rescanned it after watching and it’s now at $2.30 stamped so I have to go back into my bulk find it and put it back into my binder so thank covert thank you so much

Huh. I played against this two days ago, I was playing the Hulking Metamorph/Rakdos Joins Up combo. Managed to keep the snake horses at bay long enough to have Hulking Rakdos give them the pew-pew-kaboom.

Soundgarden also has a lot of references about snake riding

Not as flashy of a combo but you could run split cards like Crime/Punishment or Push/Pull. If the revealed card is a split card, that card’s mana value is based on the combined mana cost of its two halves.

at 15:55 how does Covert tap the Annointed Peacekeeper to Saddle since it has summoning sickness? I thought a creature can't be tapped on the turn that it enters the battlefield.

It can't attack or activate its abilities with a tap symbol in the cost. Other ways to tap it, like saddling a Mount or crewing a Vehicle, work fine.

To have played this deck during Sunday's open at the Montreal RC, I did twice the shadow on top with Avarice for 15 damage while Bronco is saddled. It's a great feeling

@@mikeciul8599 I took several years of Spanish class in k-12. I really don't know about who throughout the US is more or less likely to know Spanish. That being said I don't know how old CGB is but I'm in my thirties and missed the Dora train lol

Best saddle deck is calamity jund being saddled by vein ripper or or terror of the peaks to be honest always fun when a smugglers surprise drops calamity and one of those two on the table and just wins you the game

unless they gain one life at any point B4 u get the combo. I feel like some life gain decks may give u a hard time. Yet I can see where this would be good vs red or blue. Not to say every color dose not have it's ways but Look out for decks with white.
