What's truly amazing about this list is that it contained at least 10 movies that no one will never see in another similar list .... and I totally agree on these particular movies!! Of course this comes on the expense of other masterpieces such as Citizen Kane, Casablanca, Gone with the wind, Vertigo .... etc.

Of all time? Of course not. You can't have The Thing without Halloween, Taxi Driver without Dog Day Afternoon, Heat without the Magnificent Seven, Psycho without The Exorcist, 2001 without Jaws, Clockwork Orange without Rollerball, Monty Python without Blazing Saddles, Alien without Dawn of the Dead, Django without Death Proof...and you see where this is going; the pickins' are just too slim here for me. I've _never_ seen the Godfather or E.T. and am older than these films. Some may think that odd, but I know people who just won't watch The Exorcist or Night of the Living dead, or would have no interest in classic comedy films like A&C Meet Frankenstein or Monty Python and & the Holy Grail, Which Way is Up or Kentucky Fried Movie. We might say they had no sense of humor or had unfounded aversion to horror films. I knew someone who only watched B&W movies, another who only watched Anime, literally nothing else. JMTs

I was putting off watching children of men for many years and when I finally did I wash shocked how good it turned out to be. Also very topical in today's world. The beginning is a bit slow though, so bear through it.

It’s just that some people get different viewpoints of it that others can’t always see. Which is why one man’s trash is another man’s treasure. But there are some stories that we can collectively exalt as superior, profound themes. Like good conquering over evil.
