Overtime I grew out of Harry Potter but now I'm realising it is a consistently good series. I don't think it's that great but I reckon atleast one or two of the movies deserve some type of Oscar.

Interstellar won for best visual effects, Arrival won for best sound editing, Dead Poets Society won for best screenplay. But, yeah, they all deserved better.

The Shawshank Redemption was nominated in 7 categories for an Oscar (one of it for best picture) but didn’t win any. That doesn’t take away that it is a fantastic movie!

Brother, if u want to enjoy then some most of em would be borin but they r great I would recommend -Apocalypto -The time traveller's wife -Inside out ( animation movie ) -( two war movies but i can't remember their names) - ther r many but i cantremember - comment section was borin so stil i cant remember - yah i suck in English

@@ritam8767 but you can get into it. I have been watching a lot of 40's and 50's movies recently, and I learned very quickly to like them. Look out for the best Noir movies, I bet you'll have a good time. Also there are great westerns, look for the ones directed by John Ford, Hawks and Anthony Mann. Stagecoach is one of the most impressive movies I have seen in my life, the action scenes are so intense and real. Japanese movies are also great entertainment.

This whole video was me thinking "where's this movie" and "where's that movie" and then having the movies I was thinking of come up later in the video with ten Oscars or something.

Titanic is a really great movie with great production and direction, with love theme and disaster concept, with great soundtrack and film score. Besides that, it was made in 1997, the year where technologies still limited but managed to win 11 oscars.

sometimes you need to look at what the other awards are for and situations. Other than Malek's Best Actor, everything is sound related and editing. While The Godfather took 2 of the big four (Picture,Actor) along with Adapted Screenplay. Also I think the fact that they had three actors up for supporting actor (Pacino, Duvall and Caan) split the votes for that award.

@@kostis007 The movies I described were much more then "good movies".Mine was a provocation Anyway, 7 Oscar, not 1..the only thing that can be said is that you don't necessarily have to judge a film by how many Oscars it has won."Shakespeare in love", won the Oscar for the best movie in 1999. The other 4 in the list were: "Saving Private Ryan", "Elizabeth", "The thin red line", "La vita è bella". Really "Shakespeare in love" was better then the others? You remember who was one of the producer of "Shakespeare in love"? Harvey Weinstein

The fact that The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King has all the Oscars makes me shed tears of happiness, because it is my all-time favorite movie, it is the one that together with its predecessors makes me feel like it is the first time that I see them, a new beginning, a new journey, with an ending so moving and so epic. Thanks to their stories, and their soundtracks, it is that they generate a sea full of emotions for me. The trilogy will always have a place in my heart.

The 90s sure had a lot of great movies, like: Forrest Gump, The Matrix, Jurassic Park, Pretty Woman, Schindler’s List, The Truman Show, Good Will Hunting, Fight Club, Goodfellas, saving Private Ryan, The Silence of the Lambs, The Shawshank Redemption, Seven, Heat, Trainspotting, Unforgiven, JFK, L.A. Confidential, The Usual Suspects. And for sure there are a lot more good movies from the 90s. I’m sure I haven’t mentioned them all ( there are also a lot of animated movies). So what exactly is the best movie of the 90s. Don’t know! For sure it’s personal taste, but also in time people changes and so do their taste of movies. I would have to watch them all again to make a list of my best movies now!

Okay... in 1993, Shawshank Redemption, Forrest Gump and Pulp Fiction came out. Three film that anyone can put in there top 5 best movies of all time, and no one would argue... so... Yeah... 1993.

Nah, return of the king had 11/11 because there weren't really movies that came close to it. I don't see that happen nowadays.

Yes indeed, although a fantastic movie, Fight club was only nominated for the category best effects, sound effects editing.

Even the sound effects and editing were not that amazing. You need to be happy about the nominations. But at least better than Black Panther in nearly every way, the most ridicilous thing is Black Panther has 3 Oscars.

@@ChrolliForever So other Marvel movies has also generally great makeup, costume, art direction, set decoration, SFX and VFX. Oscar just tries to prove they are not racist and they think this way racism in USA will be forgotten. The racism in USA never will be forgotten and never will be forgiven.

How do I create this effect for my videos? Can I do this with Canva or do I need something like final cut?

The movies which has highest rating like Shawshank Redemption, GodFather, The Dark knight are more joy to watch as they are overall fantastic.. But for an oscar in particular Category depends on the brillance in that single category!!.

Agree, it's not on Box Office or Oscar it depends on how they present it.

The Last emperor such a good and impressive movie truly deserves those 9 oscars

1965:- Omitted; The Sound of Music nominated for 10 & won 5 Oscars including Best Picture. And that reminds me, Mary Poppins (1964) was nominated for 12 & also won 5.
