Masters of the air IS FUCKING amazing. Best ww2 airforce series.

i would also add the winds of war which war and remembrance is actually the sequel, it cover the period bettween 1938-1941.

The Clips of Das Boot are from the original Miniseries. The sequel is a Sky One production first aired in 2018 and is set in 1942 not near the end of the war.

Band of Brothers was not inspired from Saving Private Ryan but the book from Stephen Ambrose. Read the book, watch the series and you will appreciate it 1000x more.

You should add All the Light We Cannot See and SAS Rogue Heroes

My favorites are Winds of War and War and Remembrance. I did not see Band of Brothers though.

Band of Brothers Except no other. By far the greatest war series ever produced. Like many others I have watched BOB many times and will watch it again. And as a side note the book by Steven Ambrose Band of Brothers is a excellent read.

​@@Gee-sb2kiYeah it's got good combat scenes but the story falls off after a while. I understand how it tries to show war changes people but the ending is quite cheesy and so is most of the personal life parts.

Das Boat (2018, SkyTV) is fantastic

12 O'clock High anyone? I'm not saying it was a great series, but my father was a radio operator on a B-17 in 1944/45 and shot down twice. He never spoke of it, but we never missed an episode.
