I have a buddy that uses his drone to run fence lines and trap lines. Given mission planning software, he just sends the drone out and reviews the video at 2-3x speed while he's eating breakfast after morning chores. Saves a lot of time.

This is likely covered in your past videos but I think that drones are a great way to advertise a farm, weather it is to potential workers, customers or buyers. Drone footage is stunning and a good look at the place in bloom or covered in ice or when the harvest is heavy on the vines, that would be a great time to get some good shots to advertise your farm

What would be the best way to buy a T30 in the US? Is there any requirements for that? I been looking to buy one but I don’t plan to use it here, it would be in another country.

We sell the T30. No requirement to buy it, but there are certifications and licenses you need to get to fly in the US. Give us a call for more info: 312-278-7232.

It won’t effect the availability of their drones in the US. This is different than the Huawei ban and less severe. It’s not over spying issues, but rather human rights violations in China.

In reference to the SEEDING section, wouldn't seeds fall under "propagation of plant life"? I was reading the Part 137.3 “Agricultural aircraft operation. (2) dispensing any other substance intended for plant nourishment, soil treatment, propagation of plant life, or pest control. I was just trying to verify the comment on only needing a part 107 for seeding while under 55lb with the T10. If I am missunderstanding the reg please let me know. Thanks! and great channel!

  • @BitterVet3D

I think i may have answered my own question as the definition for propogation would require something coming from a parent stock and i dont think seeds would count as coming from a parent. Hope that made sense

I need a drone to blow the rain off the cherry crop, blowing down as drones do is best as it drops the water off the leaves and cherries to the ground, tractor blowers sadly are blowing the rain up and horizontally, and halicopters are often just too much forced air, and they cost over 1000 per hour. the weight of another battery instead of carrying spray might mean that a drone could be great for this purpose, or blowing water off and spraying calcium might all do wonders. but I have no idea what drone to get, or a drone I can gradually keep adding more instruments and to add more artificial intelligence and sensors once it becomes profitable.

When I was talking to some drone manufacturer, thermal had just come out from DJI. They told me that farmers would be better off using GPS for livestock and they would only be selling these to police. What a jerk that guy was. He can make a drone, but that's probably his only skill.

Drones on a farm are useful and good and all but i have a feeling enemies of state will later use the spraying type and weaponize them with chemical or biological weapons. Sure the old method could be a large crop duster but that must be manned and is going to be harder to pull off. A bunch if remote operated drones to spray troops with a chemical or bio weapon do major damage. Think of all the civilian drones turned into weapons by using grenades and other items. That and surveillance. Larger drones can be a nuke inside and go to exact altitude lat / longitude to detonate without worry about outrunning a mushroom cloud. The stealth b-21 b-2 replacement can do that. And can be autonomous evade radar. And if in a nuclear war we don't have to worry about outrunning our own bomb and will be a precise attack that doesn't miss by miles. Even if it comes back radioactive from radiation from it's own weapon it can still easily be rearmed and set for another attack if we decide not to sacrifice it. Welcome to the future. AI autonomous war. The war in Ukraine is the first drone war where drones are extensively used by both sides of the conflict. Even small civilian drones. Including all those cheap Chinese drones. They make the most drones. Have the largest drone shows in the world. So in amount they are ahead by a lot. The next war may be autonomously fought with AI. Computers have surpassed humans in many fields. For example in chess or that Chinese game with endless moves. You know those geeky shows with robot wars contest. The next may be an AI version of the show.

may be a drone with tongs and camera with wifi connection to a laptop that allows the farmer to collect the fruits of high parts in the trees ..and has a basket to collect the fruit and maybe later it will be improved to work by itself with no human interference..
