In this video, we’re going to cover the many different popular woods that we carry here, at Fashionable Canes.
The top ten best woods available by Royal Canes have been selected for comparison.
The woods will be covered from lightest to darkest.
Zebrano Wood, lightest in the spectrum, has a modest grain with a beautiful pewter color.
Rosewood has subtle hues of orange and brown with darker patina, throughout its wood grain.
Afromosia, often mistaken for Teak, is a durable wood with a beautiful golden color.
Oak, one of our most popular canes, is another durable wood with a distinctive wooden grain throughout the shaft.
This wood has more visible grain than the others.
Ovangkol wood has a mixture of colors, from a yellowish to reddish brown with a darker brown, gray, and black stripes.
The grain is straight to slightly interlocking.
Walnut wood has a chocolate color and is beautiful in color and grain.
Bubinga is a beautiful wood and more than impressive in person.
You can see a reddish brown color, with a darker purple to blackish streaks.
Amaranth, or “purple heart” is one of the most unique woods in relation to its natural purplish color.
Wenge wood is distinctive in its color, with a dark brown, almost black color.
If you like a dark wood but do not want to have a stained shaft, then this would be a great choice for you.
Ebony, more specifically Macassar Ebony, is not endangered.
It has beautiful natural black to dark brown streaking throughout the shaft.
It also has an elegant pewter collar.
