I followed this video while in Rome Day 1 Spanish Steps ~1hr Trione Fountain 0.5hr Trevi Fountain ~1hr Pantheon 2 hours Piazza Navona 2 hours (had dinner overlooking Piazza) Vittariono ~1hr each on 2 days Palazzo Venezia Days 2 Vatican Museums 4+ hrs St. Peters Basilica (climbed the dome as well) 3 hrs Castle St Angelo 2hrs Piazzale Garibaldi (sunset) Trastevere (dinner) Day 3 Colosseum 4hrs (including underground tour, had express entry so no waiting time) Roman Forum ~2hrs Palatine Hill ~2hrs (Sunset) Santa Maria Maggiore Piazza Della Republica (Dinner) Thanks a lot for this video, the maps and interactive information helped me a great deal ! Edit - Added the times as well. Thanks for the likes. Just to add, I used public transport with a 6 yo kid to cover all of it, without a kid you can even spend more time exploring. Stay somewhere central, that helps. Shame I could spend only 3 days, Rome is worth a lifetime !

Ill be going there this 6-10th i will try to follow this plan.

My 17 year old is in Rome at this moment but she is asleep by now. I love that Italy have bidets as a regular fixture in their bathrooms. USA should have had them as a regular fixture in hotels and homes.💛❤💚

Don't forget to visit EUR if you like modernist architecture..Also cafe NECCI in Pignetto area a former haunt of Pasolini opening scene of ACCATONE was filmed there..Try to venture off the mainstream tourist areas.Behind PYRIMIDE is a cemetery that contains the graves of poets KEATS and SHELLEY a tranquil place that is populated by many cats, who are regarded as the guardians of the dead

So much to see in Rome! The city is really walkable and food there is amazing!

I’ve already done most of these things... several times. I hope I can visit them again!

We have just finished our time in Rome and have checked out all the suggestions, thank you ,loved the video.

Italy is the most amazing country to visit. Had the best holiday of my life in Italy. Rome ❤️. Pompeii. ❤️ Naples❤️ The people are lovely, the food is unbelievably good. Its the best country Ive ever visited.

Amsterdam is nothing, you can see the city in less than 2 days. (I’m saying this as a Dutch Native). It’s a nice city with loads of museums, but for a city trip I wouldn’t recommend it. However if you stay for about/more than a week, Amsterdam should be on the list with cities such as Den Haag, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Maastricht and Rotterdam. (And of course places like de Keukenhof, Zaanse Schans etc.) The Netherlands has much more to explore than just Amsterdam.

I've been to Rome and Amsterdam both are extremely beautiful. Rome has a special and a huge history but Amsterdam on the other hand is special too. If you can afford a ticket to Amsterdam, you should go there too

As a Roman ( Born and raised) I can say that I appreciate very much your video. Anyway I'd like to point out that Piazza Navona Is beautiful...so tourists you must do It by all means ! For us it's popular for the Christmas market , for the church in the middle and for the fountains

One thing I would recommend - take a Metro to Subaugusta and walk to the ancient aquaduct in Parco degli Acquedotti. It feels quite barren and isolated but we visited late in the afternoon, walked past a lot of the broken bits off the main path and never felt unsafe. It's fenced off a bit but it's still an awesome sight! Also (if you like sculpture) the small church of San Pietro in Vincoli. This houses Michelangelo's Moses.

Don't miss the church of San Clemente, which is not far from the Lateran. You can go downstairs and walk around in an actual ancient street and houses.
