  Hollywood (as a district) is not a nice place in general, but it's as crowded/dirty/etc as ANY popular tourist attraction anywhere in the world. Where there are crowds, there's less culture :)

  yes, it's free. The only issue it is VERY hard to find parking there: the top-level one is always 100% full, and the guards wont even let new cars in, and the parking along the hillside road is paid and you'll have to walk up to a mile from the place you park. And it's paid parking as well - you must pay for it. So maybe it's better to park under the hill and take a bus upwards OR an uber up and down. Will be about the same money, but less stress

  @@monchichipower6334no. Its not true. Only for Griffith. Parking in LA is vveeeeeeery simple and mostly free. Hint: if you see a street with meters, look at the perpendicular street. Usually its free. Some areas do have restriction for ‘residents only’ but its a rare thing. So nope, you dont need uber for all around LA. Some places like Santa Monica pier are paid parking of course, but its convenient to leave the car closer to the pier.

  @@monchichipower6334also, rent an electric car. Its super cheap to charge it. I literally pay zero to charge my Tesla since i have solars at home.
