But my sister just moved to Colorado and I have spent time there for work in the past and absolutely LOVE the state. When I get my business here in Las Vegas where I want it to be I would like to move to Denver. I will probably visit in a few months. Thank you for putting these videos together. I have read and heard that most businesses fail not because of lack of business in their industry but because of lack of organization, planning and keeping adequate records etc. I have had a sole proprietorship in Nevada for a few years, and have been self employed full time for almost two years. I almost gave up many times for lack of knowledge and feeling overwhelmed by the potential risk and the amount of research it takes to do things legally and properly. Great overview on the topic. I think you might have forgot Operating Agreement - That is what helps make an LLC official. Also, if I'm not mistaken, you can contract yourself if you file as an S-corp.

Hi Aiden - Your videos are so helpful! Can I quit claim deed a rental property that I own (held in a LLC) to an individual (a family member) by simply using the Colorado Quit Claim Deed document?

Hi Aiden, thank you for the videos. They are really helpful! I'm a personal trainer, yoga and tai chi instructor and have operated as a sole proprietor for the last 5 years. I recently formed an LLC to create a separation of liability since my wife and I bought a house and had a child. In the past I commingled my personal and business finances, separated expenses using different credit cards and a tracking app. I just opened a checking account for the LLC. Should I get a separate credit card for the LLC as well or can I continue to use the personal card I have used strictly for business in the past? If this questions warrants more of a conversation please let me know. I'd be happy to pay you for your time and expertise. Thanks, Jordan

Love your videos. Thinking on starting an LLC soon and your vids have been very helpful to grasp general concepts!

Aiden I have a few questions to ask. I live in the state of Florida I have a business that requires me to have a parent company S Corp perhaps and many sub LLC that I need to establish with a partners individual, for example, I have 10 partners but each partner will need to have an LLC with me. I'm a bit confused as to. The LLC or members will collect a payment once a month but I am not sure how I will pay them, should I pay them as a member to that they are responsible for the taxes at the end of the year or is there another way. Where do we keep things like the operating agreement and documentation of an initial resolution meeting or articles of organization?

HAAALP!!! So i have my EIN when i got my bank account for my biz. I used that EIN for my merchant account for cc processing. Does this mean i will now have to file taxes separately, one for personal and one for business? Or would i still file my taxes as an independent contractor since im the sole proprietor of my LLC?

What if you start an LLC but as your business grows you realize a different structure or some changes to your operation agreement might be necessary or could make more sense. What does that process look like and is it difficult?

I just formed an LLC in Washington State and they didn't require Articles of Organization to form the LLC. Do I still need to create this document? Do you have examples of Articles of Organization? I couldn't find a video of how to create that document?

Can a multi member LLC change to a single member LLC with writing up this change in the corporate minutes that all members agree to this change or do you close down the multi member LLC and start up a new single member LLC?

for #10 Agreements: can these be inclusive to the seller agreements if I am looking at a single member LLC and when I say seller agreements I am speaking of my eBay Premium Store agreement and Amazon Professional Seller Account agreements. Per IRS you have to register as a Corp in order to file as an SCorp.. I don’t understand how you reference electing to file as SCorp while operating as LLC. 🤔
