KaleFGB Datsyuk is indeed one of the best 2-way players alongside Gainey but he is 10 years older than Sid, so I’d put him in the past generation with the likes of Thornton, Iginla, Jagr, Sedin Brothers, Lidstrom etc. I think Datsyuk was more skillful & flashy, but Sid was a better playmaker & had the stronger lower body work & edges. By the way, I said one of the best, I know Toews & Bergeron are both better defensively than Crosby but Sid’s defensive game & backchecking is incredibly underrated.

Can we still even call him a "kid"? He's a man now, one who's on a mission to etch his name in the annals of hockey history with every season, not sid the kid anymore

As Canadian, I will always remember the Vancouver 2010 Olympic Sid Golden Gold.

This is an extremely well thought out list. Thank you for not rushing through each clip and allowing for the replays...kudos to team that put this together.

Yea that’s actually a common way guys score . Marchessault scored that way against Colorado in the playoffs last season . Fanned on the shot as he was coming up to the net but stayed with it, turned around so his back hit the boards and the shot the puck from there and it banked in off the back of Grubauers glove . The crazier thing for Crosby is his goals batting the puck out of midair . That is insane . Especially the one where he flips it up into the air himself and then bats it into the net out of midair . Shits ridiculous

Best player of this generation... Has represented Canada and the NHL so well. Great leader and unbelievable person. Thank you Crosby!

KaleFGB not debatable. Even Crosby haters say he is the best of this generation. 95 percent of nhl analysts and fans think Crosby is the best for pretty much every year since he came in the league. Only until now where McDavid come have people said Crosby has passed on the crown.

As a long time Pens season ticket holder, I was there for most of them, including #1 in Buffalo, and you could do a whole other list of just playoff goals. I can't tell you what an honor it has been to watch the likes of Mario, Jagr, Malkin, Crosby and so many other great players come through this town and make Pens fans among the luckiest in not just hockey but in all of professional sports. Some lean times might be ahead as so many good young teams blossom in the NHL and the Pens pay the price of success, but what a run of hockey excellence we've seen here in the Burg and with a few tweaks, it might not be over yet.

One handed back hand top shelf. Cracking the post then batting your rebound directly in. Like what in the hell. Arguably the highest raw skilled guy in all of sports we've seen. You can't even do that stuff in video games.

I love it when Flyers fan chant "Crosby Sucks."

I remember seeing Crosby catch a pass on his back skate when he was 17 (or 16) playing for Rimouski against Lewiston. I knew how special he was then! Never breaking stride...

I was watching this with my headphones on, and when the crowd exploded for #4, it was freaking killer, and the look on Mario's face at 5:22..."yeah, it might be time to hand over the 'C'...this team's gonna be just fine"

I can think of 10 more plays easily after these and then some. It sucks that he missed a good chunk of his prime but it hasn't slowed him down one bit. I so wanted to see he and McDavid lead TC at the Olympics in SK last year. Shame on all the people involved who stopped that from happening.

I'd say it slowed him down, maybe..... he was putting Gretzky/Lemieux numbers up that year he got taken out (on pace for 130+ points).

I remember when Sid scored the OT goal for Canada at the winter olympics final back in 2002. What an amazing talent.

You trolling or is your memory that bad? 2002 winter Olympics Crosby was 14 years old. 2010 is when he scored the OT winner.

Sid stayed in my home town during part of his time in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League just before he turned pro. It was always a pleasure to watch him turn on the magic anytime he played.

Honestly, for me (other than the olympic gold medal OT goal) his best goal/moment was his first goal against the NYI in his comeback game. That was something special, you had to be old enough to really understand the importance of that goal to Crosby, the NHL & Hockey.

I watch this when I’m having a particularly bad day and it always puts a smile on my face and brightens my mood. Never gets old You could even make another bunch of top 10 lists for him with all completely different moves.

Saw number one in person. Picked a good time to see my first Penguins road game.

This guy has been playing since I was in elementary school. It’s crazy how time flies.

The commentary on the shoot out goal is just as legendary as the goal😂

I'm not a Crosby fan, don't care for the Penguins, you'll never see his jersey on my back or poster on my wall...but sweet Christmas I like watching this guy play hockey. Every move he makes is because he practices them and every award he has is because of pure determination.

From a rangers fan, hate the Pens but I can’t help but respect Crosby, one of the greatest ever

As a Habs fan, that shootout goal against Theo is one of my all time favorite goal

Sid's the best. Watching these clips makes me miss Steigy. One of the all time great hockey announcers in my book. Steigy and Bob Errey were such a great duo together.

Whatever the reason you hate Crosby for. You all still gotta admit his skills. And that he’s the best player since 66 Lemieux.

Those goals in traffic... he basically changes directions, leaves the puck alone and fights off three sticks, and then gets a shot off. The amazing part is he does that like clockwork, pretty much every shift, and he's so strong on his skates it can't be prevented. He'll be doing that until he's 40. Great player.

Once he's officially retired people will put him on the same petistol as Mario Wayne n Orr. Different eras but Crosby was just as impactful as those guys were in their respective eras

He's the reason i hate the pens so much.

I remember watching #8 when it happened....unbelievable. Even as a Flyers fan I’ve got to love it.

#7 - I was at this game, and the crowd went nuts after Sid beat 4 Habs to score. I said, “We just witnessed a CAREER highlight.”

I grew up being a basketball/football fan. Sydney Crosby has been my introduction to hockey and now I am a forever fan!

My dad loves him so much he decided to name me after him. I'm not mad lol

"I guess he's still the best"... Indeed.

Goals #10-7 I was amazed. Goals #6-1 I was speechless. I saw most of these live and I'm still speechless.

Hockey isn't the same without Sid

3 on 3 OT really helps a skill guy like Crosby. He's had a few back handers from zero angle that are pretty sweet as well.

Sid's deflection goal, off of Letang's backhand, against florida in 2017 could've been on here! it's an underrated goal

The play he made in number 3 deserves to be number 1 he made them drop 😂

He's awesome. One of my favorite players of all time!

If only the layman sports observer would understand just how crazy that number one goal is.

Whoever made this list did a fantastic job, really showcases all his skills from his insane handeye, puck protection, passing, and the most amazing backhand in the league. My favorite part is the announcers childlike giggle at 5:05

I was at that Tampa vs Pittsburgh Game in a box seat back in 2007. They gave out Evegeni Malkin Bobble heads (which I still have). That diving goal was one of the sickest goals ever made.

The single most important point to take from this video is that to Crosby the most important thing is not stats or personal records but playing late in june for the big mug...ultimate team player.

My first hockey game, i got a #71 signed penguins blue jersey. now that i know who he is and what hockey is, so proud.
