The Crazy Stupid Love plot twist is definitely one for the ages!

I think an honorable mention should be La La Land when they play the movie at the end as if the stayed together and then jump back to present with Emma Stone watching Ryan Gossling playing the piano at his bar while sitting next to her husband.

I see Crazy, Stupid, Love, I clicked. I wasn’t shocked, I laughed

Atonement is a beautiful movie, but that bitch Briony ruined the relationship. The ending still breaks my heart. Also, Jamie’s health from A Walk to Remember is devastating. She knows that she doesn’t have any time life.

I'm surprised that the 9/11 reveal at the end of Remember Me didn't make this list

This movie gets so much hate but I really don't think it's that bad. Not every movie can be a blockbuster, because then none of them are. That scene truly is heartbreaking, especially because there was almost no chance of you seeing it coming.

Is that Rachel McAdams in another time traveling movie

While I liked the reveal of Hannah being Cal and Emily's daughter, it might be obvious to some viewers, since Emily and Hannah are the only two characters who have red hair.

I saw it in the theater and the second Emma Stone walked on screen I immediately went, "Oh she has read hair, she must be Julianne Moore and Steve Carrell's other daughter." The whole theater FREAKED OUT when the reveal happened. I was so confused how it wasn't obvious.

Remember watching Harold and Maude in high school and everyone being grossed out by the romance but the movie is so heartbreaking. I remember crying during this scene

Why do characters who are about to die of long-term illnesses often look very healthy?

This was my exact face when I saw this scene in Down with Love 😂

I think the reveal that Gerald butlers character dies in the first 5 minutes of P.S I love you deserved and honorable mention… when I first saw the movie in theaters I cried the entire rest of the movie 🥲🤣

that a cancer returned isn't particularly shocking The big shock in ATONEMENT is that Briony is dying and will lose her faculties. Rather than the fantasy ending with the younger characters, the book had a better ending with dying Briony meeting her stroke-crippled brother who greets her with his pet-name from her childhood Glad you go back as far as HAROLD AND MAUDE, but you should consider the likes of BRIEF ENCOUNTER (Laura attempted suicide), LETTER FROM AN UNKNOWN WOMAN (the 'by the time you read this I shall be dead' moment, or Stefan learning he had a son who's now dead, or his learning that John knew who Lisa was all the time and said nothing - well, no, but he could have written something down)

If Harold and Maude had role reversals , people wouldn’t be okay with an 80 year old man and 19 year old girl

What a lame list. I need to add that Shailene did two other movies which would’ve fit the list. “The last letter from your lover” in which she has a forbidden love affair and “endings/beginnings” in which the reveal of the father to be is shocking although kinda obvious.
