Prisoners with Hugh Jackman and Jake Gyllenhaal is VERY underrated and the plot twist at the end and *the whistle* will leave you wanting more!!

Absolutely....this is right up there with "Spy", and the first "Kingsmen", on my list of movies, "That Took Me by Surprise with Just How God Damn Good They Were"!?!? Love finding those unexpected gems.

The ending to Gone Baby Gone is truly devastating. When the little girl corrects him on the name of her baby doll it really breaks your heart.

I watched the first Saw movie when it released in theaters with my friends. The reveal that jigsaw was in the room the whole time shocked everyone and the theater was filled with gasps and "OH MY GOD!!" 😂😂 It was cool to see everyone flip out over that excellent reveal, a loud cheer after the "gameover" line that made the movie experience so much better. It was by far one of the best theater goings I've ever had.

That mist ending really got to me when it came out

Frailty is a MUST watch! Excellent writing and acting!

Frailty will always be an underrated thriller. Recently watched it and it deserves more recognition 😊

Am I the only one who thinks The Sixth Sense has one of the saddest movie endings out there?

Frailty is an awesomely underrated film with a fantastic acting job by Bill Paxton--and McConaughey is actually not that bad in it, either. I highly recommend to watch it if you haven't already seen it.

The plot twist from the movie Searching really scares me especially the use of the dramatic music when Detective Vick was the suspect this whole time, I wish we could see more movies that use computer screens

Jacob's Ladder - Real good, trippy film with a delicious twist.

I always loved The Prestige. I don't think it may count as a thriller but I definitely didn't see the end coming.

Frailty is such a good movie. I never expected it to be as good as it is and it's just such a unique story and twist. McConnahey can really deliver when in the right movies (non rom-coms)

I think I like the fan theory for The Mist better. The random lady in the store they were held up in was right about the need of a sacrifice. As soon as David kills his son... that's the event that actually brought the end of the monsters.

"Head in a box" because of it every time I receive a gift I scream "What's in the box?!"

It's fun to watch Fight Club the first time the twist works and then seeing all the hints the second time.

I've seen a lot of thrillers over the years. I had Shudder Islands ending figured out three fourths into the film. Specifically when he was swimming toward the lighthouse.

The top I’ve being waiting my entire life, huge fan of thriller twists.

some other excellent movies with plot twists: Nine Queens (2000) , Lucky Number Slevin (2006), The Invisible Guest (2016), The Secret in Their Eyes (2009), Tell No One (2006), The Departed (2006), The Game (1997), Summer Of 84 (2018)

My top five 1. Se7en 2. Memento 3. Frailty 4. Gone girl 5. Mulholland drive and psycho

Primal Fear has the most awesome underrated twists EVER!! There are actually 2 big ones in this STELLAR film. Why Edward Norton did not get any awards for that role is APALLING!

Totally agree, I got my girlfriend to watch it for the first time last night and she was kinda shocked!

The Frailty twist absolutely SHOCKED me. I was certainly not expecting that Matthew McConaughey was Adam all along and that his dad wasn’t crazy.

I’ve watched Memento sooo many times but I never came up with the idea that Leonard is basically a serial killer, nor the Teddy is using him to take out crooks even though that is basically what happened with Dodd. Guess I’ll have to watch it again with these ideas in mind.

@@cdatlas to me the whole point of the movie are the dichotomies of its characters like Natali apparently being a good person, but ends up using Leonard; Teddy seems like a shmuck but he's actually been helping Leonard at least at the beginning. For Teddy - it has probably become very annoying to help Leonard chase random crooks just to start all over the next day/week/month. You can't get fully mad at neither one of them as they both helped Leonard and used him, but then you are the one running around "playing detective" yourself just to have a purpose and a sense of direction in your life. But yes, to just paint it as "serial killer" and Teddy just using them means you didn't really understand the complexity of the character's lives in the movie

After watching it multiple times, the best part is when he asks his wife "why read the same book even though you already know what's gonna happen??" (I dont know the exact quote on top of my head. Not only that I've watched it many times n know the twist, its just the fact that movie goes backward in segments where you already watched the "ends" of the movie which i thought was clever

Realizing that this is one of my favorite movie tropes. I either absolutely love all the movies on this list that i know and find the few i havent seen interesting

Identity was so interesting, really well done

The endings of Presumed Innocent and Jagged Edge are still two of my all-time favourites.

OldBoy has the best twist ending.

"Shattered" (aka Butterfly on a wheel, with Gerard Butler, Maria Bello and Pierce Brosnan). I liked that one quite a lot.

Saw has the greatest plot twist

They’re all surprisingly shocking in the end

I’m shocked at the ranking of The Mist and Gone Girl. Two of the craziest twists!

But which is more heart breaking: The ending of the Mist or Berserk's The Eclipse?

The most regretful thing is, I guess the twist in Fight Club movie too early lol.. and it turns out that my guess it's actually true
