Halloween, known for carving pumpkins, trick-or-treating, wearing scary costumes, lighting bonfires, divination, apple bobbing and visiting haunted attractions. In October, we watch scary movies and listen to scary songs. However, we see some nightmare fuel in all kinds of media whether it’s from movies, TV shows, cartoons, anime, and of course video games, one of the prime examples of nightmare fuel are the villains that are based on the scare factor which consists of design, the terror inflicted on the protagonists and us viewers alike, personality and atmosphere surrounding them.
Now then, this is a request from my friend Naayle to do another countdown video for this year’s Halloween Special and it’s on the Top 10 Fictional Villains that scream Nightmare Fuel to basically add a variety of Halloween Specials instead of making another Halloween related music video like in 2021 and 2022. Well, you’re in for a spooktacular treat. You are about to experience the terror and foul horror of this year’s Halloween Special on my channel.
The rules for this countdown are very simple.
1. No villain protagonists like Patrick Bateman or Light Yagami.
2. No villains from fan media.
3. They have to be actual villains from the official media that are considered canon.
Also, this video is a collaboration project with a total of 4 other people. Chad Peterson, The Doge Queen, JurassicVerse64, and TamatoaGaming Da all together in our Halloween costumes ready to participate in this spooky event. And speaking of villain lists, there will be an upcoming remake of my worst villains list since my old one back in 2022 was outdated, so expect that to be better and more well written than last time as I’ve got more script writers to help me make my work much better than before.

@@theswags9675 I love Rosalina for many reasons ever since I played Super Mario Galaxy for the first time in real life, her beautiful design, her calm and motherly demeanor, her calm tone of voice, her sad and depressing backstory which made me cry, her gentle and caring personality and her calming nature. You see, I love goddesses, including video game goddesses. But Rosalina? Rosalina is special. She’s just the definitive goddess for me. And my avatar was created purely dedicated to that as I’m a fanatic of something that is related to the galaxies and space.

I feel like you missed some choices for the honorable mentions
Bill Cipher maybe be a great DisneyTVA Villain but also Darcy Wu (The Core), Toffee, and Emperor Belos are also pure nightmare fuel.
Additional Honorable Mentions: 1. The Darkness from "Skylanders: Superchargers." Although he's a bit generic, he is the darkness. Need I say more? 2. Bondrewd from "Made In Abyss." This is what you get when you combine William Afton with Dr. Neo Cortex. He tortures and mutates innocent children, like he did with Nanchi and Mitty.

Really solid list fitting for Halloween although the ridley section is a bit quiet and the honorable mentions is long I feel like this list would have been a top 15 but really well done Happy Halloween.

Death Phantom aka The Wiseman from Sailor Moon He is my personal pick for a Scary Villain that's Pure Nightmare Fuel. For starters he was the one who manipulated Prince Demande and the others into destroying the 30th Century while going back in time to rewrite the past. Also underneath his cloak, is a creepy looking skeleton.

Literally any character from when they cry. (I don’t want to say anything because how f*ck up and sad some of the deaths and characters suffer from this show.) Unicron from transformers the movie (He’s literally robot version of the devil) Flippy from happy tree friends. (Not only he has ptsd, but also split personality and a bloodlust. And I have nightmares from this bear.) Rat king from tmnt 2003 and the 2012 series. ( ones a clone a bishop that tortured and experimented on. While one was a doctor that can see a person move Before they attack but then turn into a pale man when that control rats until his death by splinter.) The scarecrow from the new adventure of Batman (His design is so disturbing yet amazing! Not only feeling like he not even alive anymore but just they way he looks is unsettling yet perfect. And his voice fits the tone of his design) Sally,lulu, skin taker, and Jane the killer and slenderman. (I know this seems weird but these characters are just unsettling yet still disturbing. Slenderman may not be popular as he was still keep being disturbingly unsettling. Lulu feels so tragically sad and her backstory is devastating sad. Sally…she was raped and killed by her uncle….enough said. Skin taker is from candle cove and feels like fits in the Jim Henson creature shop. Jane the killer is better then Jeff.) And the last one…. The girls from DDLC (While on the honorable mention. I feel like they deserve to have more information) Let’s start with the mastermjnd and insane woman her self Monica. She not only deleted her friend’s but made them killed them self all because of the player love. Sayori One of the girls that made the player join the club but in my opinion the one that deserved a hug. Speaking of deserve a hug Natsuki She may be push over and little bratty, but she has a rough life. And yuri At first she seems nice until Monica change her into obsession of a person and then telling you about she “touch” the pen she found that was your. And one to skin inside of you and feel the worm. And killing her. Shin Godzilla (He literally 1954 Godzilla but upgrade to max!)

Fair enough. Sure, having only one eye on a villain is one thing to make it scary, but I find Plankton to be more comical than scary. Which is why Bill Cipher is the prime example of how to make a one eyed villain so nightmarish, but that’s just me.

To me, the Shadow Queen is still the most disturbing Mario villain. Everything about her design is disturbing, from her 2.5-D body, to the sparkling texture of the dark shade of purple of her body mass, her long, spindly hair, her large, intimidating crown adorned with blood-red jewels, and her face consisting of nothing but a mouth. But Ridley, Giygas, and Majora are still more disturbing Nintendo villains.

Great list and Perfect choices too, but for me, NONE of these guys compare to Giant SUVs and Pick-Up Trucks IRL, as these GIANT People Murdering machines are a SYMBOL OF DEATH, they are an UNSTOPPABLE FORCE OF EVIL that makes mortals Violent, Sadistic and Murderous. Giant SUVs and Pick-Up Trucks are also UNEXPECTED, so when we cross the street, PREPARE TO FACE YOUR FEAR for Giant SUVs and Pick-Up Trucks will COME TO END OUR LIVES.
