    The funny thing about the Lion King 2019 is that John Favreau would later go on to direct Prehistoric Planet, an actual documentary which even then managed to make the dinosaurs and various other prehistoric creatures feel more alive and expressive than the Lion King remake.

    @@carlosmattessich3883 the thing about 2019's Lion King is that it just lacks a lot of the charm the original movie had. Be Prepared is regarded as one of Disney's best villain songs and it was turned into more of a speech that rhymes. it's hard to bond and connect with the characters when they're just inexpressive CGI compared to how lively they were in the original, and the pacing is much more sluggish compared to the 1994 version. at their cores, yes, the movies have the same story, but one is just told in a way that feels more expressive, adventurous, and lively compared to the other. it's a remake that ruins a bunch of things that made the original so great, and it's a lazy movie too because the plot is practically already written for the crew. it's hated because it's less of a remaster and more of a demaster

    Just to add an additional point to the Last Air Bender movie, Shyamalan decided to NERF the fire benders by having them only be able to control pre-existing fires. He did this to avoid the fire benders from being "overpowered." But there is one tiny little problem with doing that... IT BREAKS THE ENTIRE SETTING OF THE AVATAR WORLD AND THE BASIS OF THE ENTIRE STORY. Case in point, the destruction of the air nomads couldn't happen if the fire benders needed a pre-existing source of fire to operate. The reason is that since the air temples couldn't be reached on foot, or would be very difficult to do so, the only way one could reach the temples would be by flying. Air benders can easily do this with their gliders, but the fire benders can fly as well using jets of fire as propulsion as seen with Azula. What this means is that when the fire nation destroyed the air nomads, they could only use the fire benders to do it. This is confirmed in the southern air temple where the only corpses the viewer sees are either the air nomad defenders or the fire-bending soldiers specifically as denoted by their armor and their masks. This attack could not have happened if the fire benders needed to bring their own fire in order to work as 1) they would never be able to get up to the air temples in the first place as they would need a constant stream of fire to fly which wouldn't be possible as using existing fire removes it from the area like earth and water. 2) They wouldn't be able to bring up enough fire benders to effectively challenge the air nomads due to limited fire reserves meaning that only a few could get up there in the first place. And 3) even if they do manage to get a few guys up there they would be useless without a source of fire, which the air benders would no doubt exploit. This fundamental and utterly unnecessary change to how fire benders work ABSOLUTELY DESTROYS both the setting and the story as many moments in the show REQUIRES that fire benders are able to make their own fire. An absolutely shameful display.

  • @sofialozano4031

    @sofialozano4031

    I’ll be the devil’s advocate this time: the ending scene of the Last Airbender has Ozai saying that Sozin’s Comet would allow the firebenders to create fire on their own. Since the Airbenders were killed during Sozin’s Comet, then they actually WOULDNT need the source, so making the firebenders need a source doesn’t actually affect the air nomad genocide plottline like you’re saying (the movie is still bad though for other reasons)

  • @chucklesdeclown8819

    @chucklesdeclown8819

    Жыл бұрын

    @@sofialozano4031 it still unnecessarily nerfs fire benders since every other source is available nearly everywhere it leads to some extremely powerful sub bending types(like blood bending and the like) but nerfing fire bending to that extent to require their own source of fire since fire doesn't exist as a really constant source compared to the other elements it still doesn't work under scrutiny. The reason fire is able to be created by fire benders is to actually bring it in line with the other elements since air, water, and earth are nearly everywhere. Fire can be put everywhere but it's not guaranteed to be where you need it to be. It's still an unnecessary thing to add because it makes fire bending unnecessarily weak. just put out the torches they bring and they can't do shit. They also nerfed fire benders in the sense that they just completely made them idiots. The fact that they trapped earth benders on a METAL barge is to prevent them from bending anything in the show, but instead they trapped em in a canyon surrounded by earth in the movie and they somehow needed uung to realize they can easily escape, they made all the nations people unnecessarily stupid for uung to bring up how their being stupid and to defeat them. They don't even need to put out the campfire in the middle of the camp to do so and yet uuuuung could of easily put the fire out or significantly weaken it putting out the fire or having an earthbender just put it out with sand. It makes the fire benders incompetent numbskulls in favor of making the earthbenders literally dumb as the rocks they bend and making the water nation competent in comparison and even then katara WAITED for zuko to light a bigger fire even though A. Zuko should of just bent from the torch instead of taking forever to light the fire on the ground during the conflict and B. Once katara saw zuko trying to take a long ass time for zuko to light a bigger fire she should of tried to put out the torch but instead she managed to make the dumbest decision by letting him light more fire and giving him more element to work with. What's stupid is that shamalon could of come up with some sort of dumb explanation on why katara let zuko light a bigger fire like it's some sort of "benders honor" being that culturally all bending types should never be taken away from their element for the sake of an even fight and that all the nations respect benders honor enough to do so and it would also explain why the earthbending camp is in a canyon and it would also explain why no one tries to put out the fire and it would make fire benders more menacing because even then they were somehow able to defeat and keep earthbenders in line in a camp surrounded by earth or they could of just giving the ability to create fire again back to the fire benders in favor of not having to explain why no one disregards benders honor during war time because even with that explanation it still doesn't explain why katara let zuko light a fire when your literally at war with this nation and it still would make more sense then what he wrote or chose not to write. Or finding some way the fire benders we're able to work around it by still having to create the source in some sort of creative ways. AKA shamalon should have been able to justify it in some way by writing in something to do so but he decided to not because he's the most mixed writer/director in the history of cinema and he shouldn't of been chosen to do so in the first place.

    No it’s not a terrible idea. What is a terrible idea is to rewrite a pre existing character to fit modern woke ideologies. Which always makes the rewrite a complete contradiction of the previous, well established and beloved character. But they do this (hijack pre existing characters and IP’s) because no one in their right mind would ever buy their obnoxious drivel unless tricked into it. Because it’s always a «deconstruction» or rather a childish belittlement and condemnation of traditional character archetypes and story structure, just an attempt to tear down better writing by people more talented than they themselves could ever be. These woke writers are a literal cancer on the entertainment industry.

    The fact that people even think these movies are underrated gems goes to show that they think “sequelitis” is a word that does injustice to the (in all seriousness. nowhere near completely) underrated standards of sequels, Sony and Disney. And with that said, these movies are overplayed by Nickelodeon because they are either second-rate like Cloudy 2 and Frozen 2 (I think its animation and songs are great (depending on your view), but then comes the writing) or third-rate like Toy Story Bore.

    57:43 Did you know there was a Wreck It Ralph game on the DS, 3DS, and Wii. The story in that game is that Ralph accidentally unleashes another swarm of cybugs in Sugar Rush again while him, Felix, and Calhoun supported Venelope during her grand pre race, so he and Felix have to work together and save the Sugar Rush and Game Central Station from the villainous cybugs. The story takes place after the events of the movie, so Ralph and Felix are friends, Felix is married to Calhoun, and Venelope is the princess of Sugar Rush. While the plot I described has some similarities to the plot of the movie, the story does manage to be unique from its source material. If only the game itself was any good, but tell me, does the plot of that game make a better sequel than the actual Wreck It Ralph sequel?

    It's kinda curious, my feelings are the exact same towards 2 movies in this list but switched with each other: Toy Story 4 and Ralph Breaks the Internet. With Toy Story 4 I first thought it was okay, not a masterpiece but it was fine, and then when I recently watched GamingMagic13's video about it I realized how much destruction it really caused to the entire franchise. Ralph Breaks the Internet was my Toy Story 4, I remember I walked out of that movie theater completely destroyed, I just couldn't believe what I had just seen, a movie that used to be one of my favorites of all time, one I watched over and over and over because I loved the characters and the story and everything, Wreck It Ralph, completely demolished by that insult of a movie, that stupid Emoji Movie wanna-be, it almost erased Felix and Calhoun, praised Vanellope for something the first movie condemned AND turned Ralph into a little crybaby, can't wait for GamingMagic13's analysis/destruction of that abomination, I'm gonna enjoy that SO MUCH.

    A large portion of all of the videos are padded by extremely minor nitpicks. Things that would be a 5 second sin on a CinemaSins video are stretched out for several minutes. • He also complains a lot about physics and reality not making sense. For example he spends probably the first 15 to 20 minutes of Part 1 talking specifically about how the mechanics of “Operation Pull Toy” don’t make sense even though the physics have never made sense in toy story. Buzz can just fly fall with style with no explanation despite the rest of the movie constantly saying it’s impossible. Bullseye can run as fast as an airplane about to take off. Woody, Bullseye and the LGMs can just magically teleport underneath a bucket without Big Baby seeing them. If you want to say this type of “logic” criticism is valid that’s fine I guess, but then you have to apply that same criticism to the other 3 movies as well, and GM13 doesn’t. He is incredibly inconsistent in terms of criticisms towards TS4 vs the other 3. • He has a seemingly strange insistence that nothing, no matter how small or insignificant, can be established or developed off screen. He gets genuinely outraged that Dolly knows Bonnie will forget something and come back into the room because she never did anything like that in TS3 or any of the shorts/specials. There are other examples of this but this is the only one I can remember off the top of my head. • He claims that Forky’s existence shatters the “rules” of the universe. He claims to rules to be (paraphrasing) “if you’re a toy no matter what shape, size or form, then you come to life” but he fails to realize that these rules are extremely vague and nonsensical. The entire point of Forky’s existence is to shine light on that fact. A toy is not a hard defined term. Where is the line between a toy and a figurine? Or a statue? Does this mean sex toys come to life? Bo Peep and Hamm aren’t technically toys. Hamm is a piggy bank and Bo Peep is a statue/accessory on a lamp. Even the previous movies aren’t consistent with this so called rule. We see a sentient etch a sketch in first movie despite not having any eyes, ears, or body parts. But we also see things like wooden letter blocks that don’t come to life. It’s not consistent and it’s not meant to be. • He uses two off handed jokes in the director’s commentary about “destroying the Pixar theory” to craft an absurd narrative that Josh Cooley DESPISES Pixar, Toy Story, and all of its fans. He thinks that Cooley purposefully made a bad movie out of spite just because of these jokes despite many Pixar employees and creative heads also denying the Pixar theory. • Like most TS4 haters he doesn’t seem to understand Woody’s arc and basically boils it down to “Woody leaves because he wasn’t played with”. Clearly that is not the case.

    "Sponge On The Run" was OogieLove levels of random nothingness. I could not even get through the beginning of The Croods 2 because Eep and Guy got on my last nerve with their constant flirting and lack of substance. Frozen 2 distracted me from the plot with the cool visuals and native Scandinavian (Sami) elements. Christof becoming a one-dimensional love puppy for Anna bored me. They did the same thing to Branch in Trolls 2. People cannot write male characters nowadays if the protagonist(s) is/are female. I had the exact same experience with Wreck-it Ralph 2. I initially loved it, saw it in theaters, and even ignored criticisms due to my love of the experience. Eventually, the questions began appearing in my brain: Why is Vanellope so ungrateful? Why is Vanellope allowed to go Turbo? Why has Ralph become clingy and possessive of his canonically-child best friend? How does arcade game code function in online games? How can you add arcade game code to an online game without being a developer? (The only way that was shown to work in the first film was through Turbo acting as a virus which had negative consequences for Sugar Rush 💖🧡💙💚💜.) Why does Vanellope not have any attachment to the people of her world? The conclusion of the first film made it seem like everyone could get along and have lasting friendships, but in this film, the other racers are just spoiled brats who do not know what a picture is or how to respect others which is character regression. Vanellope straight up ditched her people, she was the queen, for something more challenging. (Ralph's game received an "update" at the end of the first film. Just do a similar thing here.) Toy Story 4: "I didn't want to mess it up." "None of this makes any sense." No brain to be found. "There is no sign of intelligent life anywhere."

    Wreck-it Ralph is likely my most favorite movie ever, I love it so much I watch it over and over!! I even saw it again yesterday! So Ralph breaks the internet is so, so disappointing. The worst thing I noticed is that Ralph doesnt act like himself at all, like he suddenly got super babyish, and it was as if Turbo and the negative concept of going turbo never existed. It just blatantly threw away what the first movie gave and is no where near as exciting and incredible as the first, similar to Toy Story 4 throwing away the first three and being so poorly written...it lacks the passion of the original. Its quite obvious ralph breaks the internet and toy story 4 are non canon fanfiction made by people who dont even have a clue who the characters are and write worse than just one person like me, and I bother to keep characters intact and create good stories! The fact the ralph breaks the internet characters arent themselves is enough for me to see its non canon and never happened. At least it doesn't have "2" in the title.

    Wreck-it-Ralph is by far my favorite movie and I can strongly agree with your take on the second one. I was very excited to see it, but disappointment hit like a truck. Ralph Breaks the Internet is definitely my second most hated movie (under the Netflix live-action Death Note movie) and the only "good" thing that came out of it was a new piece of evidence for a theory I've had for a long time. Every main character from the first movie was botched in some way in the second one. I wish they didn't kick Felix and Calhoun to the side for the "adoptive parents" subplot and that the writers would have either not written them in at all or had given them a more significant role. Also the ending left Sugar Rush without a ruler and they didn't deal with the insecurity virus.

I watched it nearly every day as a kid where I knew it line by line. And I still recall most lines. So you can only imagine my excitement as an adult going to the theater to see the"live action" remake. First week showing. the Mufasas death scene; It broke me and I thought Disney had no soul. I hated it from that point forward. It's a shameful rip of it's former self and the emotionless CGI animals are a shame and made my heart just break. That scene Mufasas death was supposed to have feeling, so much so it still makes me feel for Simba. And then the remake said screw them feelings for a real looking lion with no emotions. Disney, have you seen a real cat before? They show emotions! Sure cats can't cry, but ears, tail, face, eyes, body language. You could have shown emotions. And you just didn't. Shame....

    20: Completely agree. It sucked. So baaad! I despised the awful ending with Bugs cheating death because unless the original looney tunes where it’s treated like a joke, here it’s LAZY! 19: The build-up to this movie was massive. While I love “Into the unknown” and Elsa’s character being expanded, the writing was AWFUL. Anna drove me insane with her stupidity with the endless joke with the boyfriend(forgot his name😩) 18: I thought it was ok. The first was very immersive with the atmosphere and well, the quietness which allowed the emotion and fear to sink in far more. Here I agree, they had a method of defense they should’ve utilized. A lot of characters acting like idiots with splitting up and leading the monsters to “the safe haven” but when it feels like the first movie, it works and the immersion is back but then it just goes away again in a few seconds. The opening tho was great! The action was awesome and you can understand how the world got to where it was very quickly. 7/10. Wouldn’t watch again but it was fine enough for me 17: This movie freaking sucks. The humans ruined this one for me! Why did they shove wedding drama in front of Tom and Jerry?! Two of the most famous cartoons ever! I never want to watch this again, I’m sticking to the cartoons. 16: Never watched it but I don’t want to. 15: Why? I never been so bored. It’s like watching Animal Planet but if the animals talked. Be prepared is lame now! How do you do that? Be a live action remake by Disney! I think Mulan was worse but man, it had some great competition. 14: So much stuff going on which I wouldn’t mind if it didn’t tick me off. I thought they were gonna kill C3-PO and Chewie but of course, the death fakeout cliche can never die! It’s meh for me! 13: “Let’s make everything that was good suck” said someone. I loved Avatar season 2 and 3 but season 1 was only ok for me so to see it made absolutely worse makes me appreciate it so much more. Thank goodness they didn’t ruin Toph but everyone else got butchered. It so boring! I quit halfway through and I don’t want to finish. And I agree, nothing can get worse than this when it comes to Avatar. 12: I agree with Ice age 4. I liked it fine but this. Oh my gosh, they ruined everything. Clichés everywhere! Once deep characters are now cliches, decent plots are now cliches, the jokes are unfunny cliches, this movie is just one large cliche that treats kids and now adults who grew up with these characters with no respect. 11: meh. A bit overhated but it’s still pretty bad compared to the last one 10: The second/third act breakup needs to stop. Haven’t seen it but I don’t want to. 9: Not gonna lie, I liked it fine but I’m looking forward to your videos about it as I highly enjoyed you destroying toy story 4 8: didn’t care about Divergent enough to finish the series 7: Rest in peace Gilbert Gottfried and Robin Williams. If I’m really bored one day and I wanted to check out the show, then I’ll watch this but I’ll forget this exists for a while 6: I love secret of the formula but an easy way to describe this movie is “the original movie but worse”. The only reason this movie was made was for advertising for show I never want to watch so will I watch this again? No! 5: Didn’t want to watch it because I thought I looked stupid and I knew it would be bad and you proved me right. 4: Never watched an Indiana Jones movie but the fridge thing was the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard. 3: I despise this movie. Ralph was a relatable guy and Penelope was a loveable character but now they suck. This annoyed me with so many pathetic references and look, Disney saved the day(buy our products!). 2: This drove me insane. The villain is worst, so many lucky contrivances, the many many references to distract how broken the plot is. Just an annoying, average waste of time. 1: I didn’t like this movie at first but then, I watched your videos and I now know what this destroyed. Thank you for opening my eyes to most laziest, insulting, mind boggling, piece of garbage Pixar ever produced.

    I actually noticed an inconsistency regarding Chester V’s holograms. Anytime throughout most of the story when the holograms would try to touch something or someone tries to touch IT, They would just ghost through the holograms. Even at the end when the holograms try to save the real Chester from falling into the FoodBar Machine, he just phases right through them. But then during the final battle, the holograms are physically able to interact with Flint and juggle him all over the place.

    The fact that in Ralph breaks the internet Ralph was portrayed as disgustingly clingy to vanelope and psycho obsessed with her and the crappy product placements and unfunny humor and also the whole “never leave your game” thing being tossed out the window makes it my least favorite movie.

    I'd like to say, the first movie didn't say 'never leave your game', it was more 'if you leave your game, stay safe, stay alert or you permanently die' thing. Unless you meant like the quarter alert, where everyone was like, 'don't leave your game during open hours'. In which case, my apologies, but everything else was spot on.

    I liked the first Quiet Place because it had awesome story execution. The second just looks like a stupid action movie. Also, FG's complete disappointment over the Last Airbender movie is the same horrible disappointment I felt about Incredibles II. Also also, you can say that Shrek the Third completely destroyed pop culture references forever by senselessly cramming them in at every second as a replacement for jokes. No one's said that before and to me it's the most annoying thing about it because it's the Patient Zero of over-referencing. Also also also also, Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was the first Indiana Jones movie I saw and all I can remember about it is the legendary fridge scene.

    About Rise of Skywalker I have a friend who had never watched Star Wars until he recently binged all the movies, so he had no nostalgia attached to them whatsoever. When I asked his opinion on TROS since I haven’t seen it he gave me honest reasons to why it was bad and I was genuinely shocked when the “somehow Palpatine returned” line was an actual explanation in the movie and not some meme. I’m a writer and I have read stories like Harry Potter and Lord of the Rings: both series with overarching villains who the writers made explanations as to why they were still alive when the presumably died. It’s insane that a large overarching story like Star Wars gives such a lackluster explanation, but I guess that’s what Disney does to writers. Also this guy I’m interested in has TROS as his favorite movie, no it’s not a deal breaker, but I’m preparing for the day where I have to pretend to enjoy it.

    A major plot problem with the return of Jaffar is that instead of just negotiating his release from the lamp upfront in exchange for more wishes (which he has an infinite number of, and he doesn't care how rich or powerful he makes this lesser villian, because it doesn't effect his end goals as a genie), he wastes this lesser villians first 2 wishes playing Leprechaun with him, and then has to get yanked around waiting to get the third wish he needs. Jaffar's need to be an @sshole is his own undoing, as he can't make a simple and obvious trade with the lamp discoverer that will get him everything he needs.

    The worst part about Live Action Lion King is that the animators have no idea how animal body language works. They dont understand the pinned back ears the snarling muzzles the widening eyes and swaying tails of real animals and understanding that language. They intentionally made their body language dead because "itd be too unrealistic" but animals not being emotive isnt realistic either. Animals snarl they hiss they purr they nuzzle. Watch ONE animal documentary and pay attention to the animals and i guarentee you that youll see emotion and personality. Its just a reason for people to see humans as "above animals" as theyll point to this thinking its REAL and say that them being unemotive is the reason why animals shouldnt matter. And thats what makes me mad about Live Action Lion King. Not only does it rip the heart of the story out but also the characters and promotes the ignorance of cruel and unempathetic people

    20:44 Be Prepared was actually omitted from the remake entirely. Disney revealed that all of the songs EXCEPT Be Prepared would be included in the Live Action remake. A lot of people noticed this and advocated for them to add in Be Prepared back into the movie, and Disney -obviously being rushed to completion- shoved it in at the last second. (That last statement isn’t even a hyperbole. Jon Favreau himself admitted that it was among the last scenes they made for the film.)

Thank god there’s a few that have gotten the bright idea of bringing the stories to tv like Shadow & Bone, His Dark Materials, Series of Unfortunate Events and Shadowhunters. Interesting list. I've only seen around half of the movies on this list (and it has been way too long since I've seen some of those movies to give my opinion) but out of all the movies, Toy Story 4 was definitely the worst for me (not helped by the fact that I've had a very strong attachment to the Toy Story franchise for my entire life). The crazy thing is that when I first saw Toy Story 4 in theatres (as a sidenote, I think it's the only movie I've ever seen on opening weekend), I actually liked it and thought it was good. Now, the ending did leave a sour taste in my mouth (and funnily enough, I literally predicted the ending while watching the movie) and I did think it was worse than the first 3 movies but for some reason, I somehow managed to enjoy the movie overall. Maybe it was because I was in denial that a Toy Story movie could be bad or maybe it was for some other reason, I don't know but the point is that I somehow liked the movie. But as time went on, I watched the movie more times and I saw other people talk about the movie and my distaste for the movie kept growing and growing, noticing the insane amount of issues with the movie and now I absolutely despise it through every vain in my body. It's a movie which truly gets worse the more you think about it and I think that the entire movie does not work. It might just be my least favourite movie too, and I'm the kind of person who finds it incredibly difficult to pick favourites/least favourites. As for other movies on the list, Ralph breaks the Internet and Sponge on the Run are probably my runner ups. Ralph Breaks the Internet for how it ruins everything (mainly Ralph and Venelope) that made the first movie so great in addition to completely breaking the rules set up in the first movie and its painful amount of product placement. Sponge on the Run for being one of the most dragged out and awfully paced movies I've ever seen. It is such a nothing movie with such a basic plot (having a basic plot isn't a bad thing but the movie uses its plot so poorly) and the very few things it has (with multiple of those things being pointless) are so dragged out that it's agonising. Not to mention that the characters aren't that likeable in the movie and its attempts at humour just fall really flat.

    I really enjoyed this list. One of my top favorite videos of this year as it’s one of, if not the most truthful thing I’ve heard that matches most of my own opinions greatly. A lot of these movies I either chose not to watch or only watched once, as of course I knew something definitely felt off about those movies, and a lot of them I never even asked for. But I’m of course really really exited for your Incredibles 2 video series in the future as I’ve fallen head over heals with your TS4 series. I’m one of those long time TS fans who of course never really asked for a fourth installment honestly. But I’m sharing this video series with my mom as we’ve watched part 1 of the series and already she thinks that you’re looking way too deep into plot structure and fundamental basics of things. I personally watch media for characters, character interactions and relationships, and TS4 really just wasn’t what anybody wanted, at least before being tricked into thinking they did, LOL. My mom has her own thoughts about that review series of yours, but as for how I feel about it, I might not hate that movie as much as you, but I just came by it like how I always have, it’s always been unnecessary and I was fine with where TS3 left off. And that’s how I’ll always feel about that. TS fans like us need to look out for each other in making it known that critical thinking matters when it comes to how smart Pixar movies are, or at least once were, and even still can be. So yeah, this list was one that shine light on a lot of the sequels and remakes that clearly needed a more critical check up under the radar. Also, I noticed how you were taking jabs at things in some movies that ended up being things that Stranger Things pulled off in it’s latest season. My family and I are HUGE Stranger Things fans, especially me, and since everyone’s got Stranger Things on their minds RN, I of course noticed your little nods and references to it and it’s last season(and referencing a fan favorite character name in your Free Guy review, and I didn’t even know the director of that movie was previously a ST writer), and referenced a plot point from the show in your Lightyear review. If you ever decide you want to, will you ever make something related to Stranger Things on this main channel? How big of a Stranger Things fan are you? I’m curious. And finally, I only watched this list because I hated Wreck It Ralph 2 and was massively disappointed in The Incredibles 2 and Frozen 2, as that was the two years that was the biggest silent fall from grace of Disney and Pixar in the public eyes to everyone including myself, to turn to more obscure content that’s not from either of them. So I’m glad I’m not the only one who feels that way. Hope to see more content from you in the future, for Infinity and Beyond.😉🤍💜💚✌🏻♾

    As a response to the Tom and Jerry and Space Jam films, this was why I think Who Framed Roger Rabbit still holds true to my heart: the entire storyline was actively centered on getting you to actually care about the characters. I love Eddie Valiant, because I got to watch a bitter, grieving man learn how to find laughter and joy again. I love Roger Rabbit because he remains endearing (whether he’s being his silly self , persevering while terrified for his life, being kind to those who are mean or misunderstood, and even having some wisdom to share). In fact, the way the worlds of the toons and humans collide is so cool and unique! It really does allow you to imagine the possibilities that can come from their interactions!

    If I ever do come around making Toy Story content, I’ll make a series that will take Toy Story 4 and Lightyear out of the canon, and redeem Toy Story with a new series called Toy Story Time. Frozen will also get the same treatment with Frozen Plush Adventures hopefully.
