I can’t find the source but I recently read that the actor in that scene asked the producer (or director) to change that line because it was so over-the-top. He was denied his request and so he decided to “act it” with such “drama” that he knew it would later be criticized. I remember when I watched this for the first time, pretty much all these lines made my skin curl but the "I can't believe you committed suicide" line was so shockingly bad to me I actually BOUGHT the movie Fateful Findings for $12.00 and watch it constantly. The "So bad it's good" category sure has a weird power.

Neil Breen is a special kind of awful. There is another scene in Double Down where his girlfriend dies and as he catches her body, he says "Oh Jeez." Then instead of reacting with anger/grief/sadness, he reacts like he suddenly got a stomach cramp while filming the scene.

After he finally closes the deal and celebrates his partner asks him how much the sale was and he responds with “one million dollars.” That means he gave the customer a one million dollar discount lol. “Different places” with the overacted popcorn throw is absolutely perfect and hilarious and awesome.

Well the toads lines got cut out of the movie. He would say stuff like "Do you know what happens when a toad..." But all of that shit got cut out. So storm saying that actually would have made sense. Instead they cut his lines and left hers in so it was awkward.

I actually like this line. It's basically a precursor to the anti-joke. It has the setup for a typical action movie one-liner, but the punchline subverts it with an obvious fact. You're clearly supposed to expect the answer to be "It croaks". And then you get something else. I myself an rather tickled by it.

I can't believe that line and "La dee Dee, la dee da" from Annie Hall we're included in AFI's top 100 movie quotes, but NOT The Empire Strikes Back's "No, *I* am your father". Nor did they include Silence of the Lambs' "I'm having a friend for dinner" line.

The worst are the cliches used in action movies: "Failure is not an option", "I'm going in", "This time it's personal" all spoken with an affected tough guy voice.

I always thought that he didn't liked sand because he was slaved as a child on a planet full of it and he had left his mother behind on that planet so also sand makes him remember about his promess to her about going back for her that he still couldn't accomplish... The bad lines in the terrible independent films like Troll 2, The Room, and Plan 9 are one thing, but some of the shit from the Hollywood films that must've been thoroughly reviewed and tested and rewritten is truly surprising.
