There’s one problem with this: you made Merna look merely bored. In the original, Merna looks both bored and out for blood.

I had hoped when you zoomed in on Merna's dreadfully dismal and shattered windows to her empty soul, that we would be be allowed to see cheesy flashbacks of a troubled and horrifying past, full of frequent trips to juvenile hall and countless runaway attempts with the local carnival convicts......

overflowing with the christmas spirit :D

I was going to comment that it wasn't necessary to make it funnier, but you did. Nicely done.

Someone's done their homework! In the original, Merna clearly has plans for after the shoot. In both versions, thank goodness for karaoke background singers and bass levels!
