Personally, I loved the garden tool as a kid because we had a garden every year and I got to use them when helping dad weed the garden

Y'know those 101 dalmatians are *NOT* sad. In fact, when i was a kid, my aunt and uncle had almost all of them. My favourite thing to do while at their home was play with dalmatians. No sadness in that toy

Allie in the Cut i think they said around 100 dollars the prices would probably be different for the person selling it some would have the toys up for slightly less money and others would have it up for slightly more money. The seller is the one who sets the price for the full set.

I remember most of these. Had the toothbrush when I was in like 1st grade. Still have some Mighty Ducks pucks and Teeny Beanie Babies. My mom worked at McD in the 80s and I worked there in the 90s-early 00s so I have a whole bunch of old toys.

The Dalmatians were wrapped in white paper so you couldn’t tell which one it was. And we were also told to look for a golden Dalmatian. I worked there at this time. But I never heard of anyone actually finding a golden Dalmatian.

I loved the 101 Dalmatians toys. Those are the ones I remember the most. I also remembered the beanie babies.

The Beanie Baby Crazy was more like the stock market. Those who got in first and have the now perhaps more rare ones, are the ones potentially sitting on some valuable toys. The late comers to the game not so lucky as by that time, there were too many of them in circulation.

I remember trying to get a specific 101 Dalmatian (which is the one with the Mickey Mouse hat which is my favorite) but sadly when 101 Dalmatians toy promotion was over I never got the one I want until I went on Ebay and saw the one I want and bought it and now I have the one I want :)

Tas Qup that last part just means the McDonalds beanie babies aren’t like the ones you get in a store that worth loads of boats of never ending money years later. Since the ones in McDonald’s happy meals are cute but also cheaply made. They’d be like knock off versions of the ones you get from a store but the tiny ones are worth nothing. The camp toys were awesome. I specifically remember being so jealous of the girl at my daycare that had the spoon, knife, and fork set that I stole it from her during nap time. True story. I was five.

#10 - I think I had the basketball. #9 - That was overkill, but fun to collect. #8 - Another choking hazard toy? #7 - What? #6 - Solid colors don’t work for toys. #5 - Pathetic. Though I may have had one of those. Whatever the red one was. #4 - They barely even look like the characters! #3 - So that’s the first Happy Meal toy! #2 - Did Mike Mozart review this one? #1 - *sigh...*

powerpup97 #7 they wanted kids to also make better life choices by brushing their teeth a lot more their hearts where in the right place with #7. They were trying to Promote Good Oral Hygenie at the time it was back in the late 1980’s. But they eventually stopped.#7 was just excuted the wrong way. Just like the NBA toys were suppose to promote kids to be more activate and get excerise and the books that McDonald now sells whenever they can promotes kids to Read more. #9:it was probably only overkill to collect because you had to collect all 101 of them without getting duplicates which would take way too long. #6 they just wanted to do the characters/mascots for the restaurant in the toy collection somehow flying aircrafts.Mcdonalds for the longest time had to come up with ideas on their own they probably just weren’t sure what colors to use at the time and solid colors was just there go to Idea even if it wasn’t the greatest idea but still. This was probably one of them. #5 is a collaspable red cup all the toys in this collection were camping themed they just couldn’t be used properly due to how they were made. They fixed number #8 immediately after the two incidents and recalled the whistles and replaced with a different hello kitty toy. The whistles weren’t manufactured properly somehow the manufacturer should have spent more time on the whistles to make them properly. #4 It was based off of the animated tv version of mighty ducks the one done from 1996-1997 which is why they had the ducks ontop of them. The characters just didn’t stay ontop of the pucks properly to be played with when the characters were ontop of the pucks.its not that the characters didn’t look like the characters they were just poorly badly cheaply bad so much that the characters just didn’t stay ontop of the Pucks for very long #3:Yes #2:Parents just weren’t hearing the toys speaking properly they overreacted the minions don’t swear at all. they just say 3 different catch phrases that their characters used in the movies like Hahahaha,Para La Buke&.Eh Eh Eh and A Lot Parents Took Those 3 Phrases as the Minions Saying What The F(As In What The Fuck). It’s why McDonalds didn’t stop selling them because A Lot Angry Parents weren’t hearing the minions correctly. #1: IAm guessing it’s either because they’re cheaply made or they aren’t extremely rare yet since McDonalds still sells them in happy meals to this day with different collections. They wouldn’t be the same as the ones from the store where years later you could make a fortune off of them.

powerpup97 #5 was also suppose to get people to go outside to go camping a lot more they tried to make it look like fun and just failed.

I remember getting a happy meal that was supposed to be a Bionicle but ended up getting Ronald Mcdonald hand puppet... as a kid me and my brother were pretty sad but tbh had some good times throwing it at chainliklnk fences 😅

I thought the thumbnail was a sad Ronald McDonald toy that would go down a slide and you could get other pieces and make a sort of play place with characters. But the figures would slide down and get stuck a lot. 😂

You forgot ONE of the saddest toys sold in McD!- the cup! Cups do not qualify as a toy! LIKE if agreed

They recycled a lot of the Michael Jordan fitness fun toys for their summer games 1992 promotion. The basketball, soccer ball, water bottle, stopwatch, baseball, and frisbee were in that set too!

Most definitely. It was a treat. The ones who put this list together also seemed to ignore the fact that we used our imaginations. Also it was fun to get the Happy Meal box.

5:12 - Are you kidding me? Even a toothbrush would be a better Happy Meal toy than that garbage.

I had the hello kitty whistle but my parents threw it away 😂

What about duplicates

I had a McDonald’s beach bucket that I actually used for years, both in the sandbox and as a container. I never questioned it, but if they were to release it today adult me would think it was a pretty lousy toy. Maybe something to look at in a hypothetical part 3.

I had some of those 101 Dalmatian toys when I was a kid... If I would have known they would be worth money... Man some collector who may have needed a few to go finish his collection and I could be rich right now. 😭

Still better than the paper toys we give out nowdays...

I worked at McDonald’s when the Dalmatian’s was the toy. Adults were so annoying trying to collect them all. McDonald’s did sell the full set I believe.

I remember I had smurfs and me and my dad were at NY at the time, so when he got me a happy meal I always got a smurf, so everyday we went there and got a happy meal just to collect all the Smurf’s and we did :)
