I mean I know that there’s a TON of them but still, Gru has known them since he was a kid. Grus like 50-60 or something now so it would make since that he knows each of their names after all these years. Also most of them look the same so it’s kinda weird

@@KcTyrekeNSotto Probably that could be but I just thought of this: probably the minions told gru their names so he won't get confused. Or since gru had the minions when he was a child he memorized their names, physical characteristics, the way they talk, their behavior, and stuff like that.

The picture of the "jewish children" is actually just a picture of British soliders, the helmets are made so that they can escape submarines easier. So no, the minions weren't inspired by the nazis but... Who were they serving in 1933-1945 😳😳

Well if you go back and watch that part again you will hear him basically say that it’s speculation from someone else. It’s not a fact. Some other things weren’t factual either. They were speculation from either his point of view or someone else. Only real fact I seen was the voice of the minions 🤣 maybe them breathing in space ant there immunity to harm but other than that opinions aren’t facts unless there’s proof.

Fun fact: when the trio: kevin, stuart and bob are gone or away dave takes over and dave was the first one to be mention in the minions movie. Dave is also in all of the shorts and he was the main character in minions so therefore dave is actually the first minion to be created.

I cant help but think of similarities to the Binomes from the old CGI animated TV Series "ReBoot". This was solidified in the 2nd movie when they did a parody of The Village People just as the Binomes did in a season 1 episode of the show. Always wondered if the Illumination animators were fans of the series and payed a subtle double homage thru that sequence.
