Hey everyone! James here :D i have to say i was so pleased to be able to produce some footage from Goldeneye 007's ZX Spectrum Emulator, i have tried so many times in the past but this time it worked and i am now thinking, i might even play through all the games for a video.

Super Nintendo imo. As great as Nintendo 64 was it underperformed horribly. No Metroid or a proper Donkey Kong Country. Horrible follow up to Ocarina of Time which is a top 5 game. I could go on. SNES was as close to perfect as any system in any generation.

Ah, the Nintendo 64. The reason why I failed so many of my tests back in elementary school, lol. So glad I kept mine all these years.
glad you're still doing the vids man. great video!
5:12 is definitely a middle finger. Reminds me of the first time I finished a level in Mario 64 and witnessed him stick two fingers up at the player! After all these years I'm still sure that's not a forward facing peace sign, no way.
Your videos are always fresh. Keep up the awesome work!
are we gonna just forget about his intro? "It's given me more memories than I could ever even imagine." Oh really? has it now. you can't imagine your OWN MEMORIES?
Thanks for these videos. It's given me many hours of entertainment!
Great video! What's that funny voice clip when you lose in Pong?
Great video bro ... I loved it
Sick background music....especially during 007. Great video too!

Great Video Mate!
That last game at the end made it into Donkey Kong 64. It is very difficult.
That was a good video. I think the arwing was a place holder when they were making zelda. The mortal Kombat one is hilarious I had no idea about that or Golden Eye.
Wow, I had no idea about the Arwing in OoT! Very cool.
Great documentation of these gems!
Whoo hoo yeah new easter egg hunter video
Hey James, I love to watch your videos!!!
i loved naboo starfighter, rogue squadron 64 was one of those allstar games, damnn so fun to play
sweet vid! cant wait to test these bad boys out in my free time
I think it's pretty cool after all the Easter egg and glitch videos I've seen on KZread.about half of these little Easter eggs I've never seen before.
My sister and I rented Yoshi's Story from Blockbuster Video way back in the day (she later bought it for me in 2003, bless her) - we would play it constantly. When we were called out for dinner one night, we left it playing the cheerful tune of the Trial Mode screen, which could be heard throughout the house, but out parents didn't really pay attention to it...until my sister and I started giggling as the secret theme started playing, since we remembered it from Mario Paint! Lol...good times...
6:10 i believe this tune also appears in the animal crossing series as a track titled "K.K. Song"

Dude, what is that music between each countdown? It’s sick!
Hey! I don't know if you've done a video on Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, I couldn't find one. I wanted to tell you about a neat Easter egg I found, During the "Quick Battles" there's occasionally a trainer who says "can't find a Pokémon under a truck? Perhaps you'll find a Muk!" Which I believe is a hint to the rumor when people said you could find a Mew under the truck near the S.S. Anne in Pokémon Red and Blue
I enjoyed watching your video incredible 😎👍

"Given me more memories than I could ever possibly imagine" just seems... illogical. :P
Love the music :)
Hey James!! love your videos!! I've got a question, would you (or any of us fans) happen to have a link to that chillwave song you use in your videos? its super beautiful!! I wanna zone out to it lol in this video, you played it over the wave race gameplay!
just when i thought i found everything in the zelda 64's.... haha damn wasnt there a easter egg song you could play with the ocarina? damn its been ages
Love how he says "ocariner of time"
Yoshi was so close to finishing grammar class and he just failed the test saying "Mario!!! it that really you?" poor yoshi has to finish it again.
love the song when you're on the Bowser stage in Super Mario 64 :')
That melody at #4 is also in Link's Awakening, if you go in the house of the guy from the castle, and wait there.
The space game in Goldeneye is also appearing in Donkey Kong 64. There you'll need, I guess, 1.000.000 points to get one of the banana keys from Cranky, which grants access to the last fairies in K.Rool's ship.

Jetpac is such an awesome game.
That Wave race one took me forever as a kid but I was determined and it was well worth it
I remember riding that dolphin for the first time in Wave Race 64. Good times...
This is literally the first time in months KZread has put one of your vids in my sub feed. WTF KZread?

I really have no idea what goes on up there LOL. But i am pleased you were able to see this one come out.
Omg! I used to watch this channel all the time, when I was a kid! (12 year olds can have nostalgia too.)
James the cruzin' USA egg is part of a larger egg/secret. From memory it allows you to put the cop car and school bus in lights and sirens mode.
I knew about that song in Yoshi's story when I was like 6 years old. Always creeped me out, I didn't know the story behind it
I remember accidentally finding Totaka's song in Yoshi's Story as a kid. It actually kinda creeped me out somehow.
I really don't think I knew that Yoshi said "it that you?"
The wave race thing is the first one I ever did, and knew about it at the time. It was crazy being a kid knowing this without the internet as we know it. So showing people was like earning a real life achievement. BTW you can only ride the dolphin in practice mode...

The other one was at the roller rink (we had those) and in a cruising game (I think) there was a loop that would crash the game and was super hard to get to in the first place. I miss arcades....
It has been a couple of years since I was on this channel and it has gotten way better than ever P.S. James if you are reading this I love your videos
This is why I love this channel! 32 Today and you keep surprising me with stuff I didn't know about the best system in the world! Thank you

Hey Happy Birthday!!! and so pleased you enjoyed the video. James
Totaka's song is actually also in animal crossing... Which was indeed originally released for the N64.
Rogue squadron was hands down one of my favorite games for n64
I had never noticed before that it was Mr.Bean's car, cool
In my opinion rouge squadron is one of the best Star Wars games and one of the best games on N64
James buy far one of my favorite videos of yours
5:36 theres more to that, once you've done the head cheat you can go back and use the Police Car and press B,B,A to activate the siren ^.^

you watching the gdq mario 64 run tonight? gonna be good as usual
Almost a year on and I only just realised the music at the end was a remix of Astral Observatory..
the zx spectrum emulator was moved over to donkey Kong 64 and is used to play jetpac to unlock the rare coin.
@TheEasterEggHunter
7 жыл бұрын
It is a very nice touch and pretty awesome game to.
Twenty one years? God, that makes me feel old.
If you look closely while using the telescope in the Observatory, you can see a man jumping up and down in one of the patches of grass near the scratched tree in Termina field. However, if you leave the observatory and go out onto the field and try and find him, he isn't there!
Did you know? If you are playing Wave Race 64 and have activated the dolphin mode, if you stop between the second and third checkpoints and enter the Konami code 3x consecutively, with the middle entry being backwards, a cartoonish-looking green and red dinosaur will emerge from a nearby island (on the left) and will eat every dolphin in the race (yours *and* your opponents') exhaustively, without any benefit to the player.
The ending earned this one a thumbs up from me. Not sure why it matters, but the ending was a nice touch..
that nintindo song i #4 i think, is in banjo kazooi could be tooie then 2nd one i cant remember i just remember hearing it and thinking it was cool
In mortal combat 3 there's a code you can use to unlock a secret settings space where said Galaga can be played

It's a shame the recent Mortal Kombat's don't have secret games like they used too.
These are some vere specific task to compete, no wonder it toke so long. XD
That Star Wars secret is pretty great.
Fun Fact: Kozami Totaka actually voices Yoshi! Perhaps this is why Totakas Song appears in Yoshi's Story?
6:30 that's the tokaka song, there's also in MK8 Deluxe
I want that RE2 remake so bad 😭 I've refrained from playing the original just to experience it all anew
I understand why/how easter eggs like the one in Perfect Dark are found, but how would anybody find the one in wave race? That's such a specific set of requirements lol
The Resident Evil trick works on the PlayStation version as well.
Where is that backgroundmusic that plays at Wave Race, Resident Evil 2 or Zelda from? It sounds so calming and good, is it from a game?
Can you do a video on happy birthday messages hidden in games? :-)
Oookay.. I'm a little confused.. was this video supposed to be about Easter eggs or nostalgia..? cause I definitely got nostalgia. Thank you 💛
I wish I was a kid again me and my bro loved our n64
Love this system to death, one of the best ever made (SM64 has one of my all time favorite game sound tracks). Sadly Nintendo fell off afterwards IMO, far too many "hand holding" titles for my liking, the Switch seems to be a welcome return to form though :)
Super Mario 64 had the 2 greatest easter eggs of all time. 1. Yoshi 2. Luigi Surprisingly, they were both main characters of the series that were put in as secrets. Who would've known.

It is called slow-motion-dubstep on pond5, but the artist has taken it down
Yay I'm glad cartridge tilting and glitches is coming back!
I was hoping to see one of Perfect Darks Easter eggs on here, but to be honest, of all of them, I was expecting the cheese
1:45 Jotaros wet dream! *Ocean Man plays*
Maaaan, i loved the naboo star fighter
Him: “Everyone is riding dolphins” The captions: “Everyone is riding dog femurs”
Oh man, Cruisin' USA was my first game. Thnks fr th mmrs!
Strangely 9:15 Reminds me of the Plant boss From Metroid Fusion
Tataka’s song looks like the base engine for animal crossing
Number 8 could also be achieved if you got all golds on every level including the bonuses.
in rouge squadron, if you type in chicken, you get the small walker thing (sorry, haven't watched star wars in a while >_
