I subbed thanks for the tips i found when using ioverlay i couldn't have full screen in iracing and there was a white bar across the top even though i was in full screen

Been Racing in VR for years. Really hard to go back to screens with such a loss of immersion. But I like that Crew Cheif. Gonna have to get that.

I made the switch back. It's taken some time, but back to triples. I can spend more time in the sim, practice more accurately and a bunch of other small positives. It is less immersive. Visual depth is gone. But, more time in sim was the deciding factor for me.

I have triple curved with 165deg of view and you STILL need some kind of Blindspot visual because using all of the mirrors kills fps.

The virtual mirror with the default fov is actually better than you think for this, try test it, it covers bli d spots excellently

@AldertDaldert-un1bd ahh I was waiting for the comment to be honest I thought it would never come, Im glad to have the opportunity to let my viewers know why, before my views outgrow my subs. Here's my older videos, but when I was younger, dumber and they dont fit the vibe of my channel : kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z2F-mNKvftzPgbg.html Did you not read my youtube BIO? Or the Age of my channel? I used to make tips and tricks videos for a game called DayZ, under the name CommanderPixel I actually had 60k subs. But leaving youtube for 5 years naturally alot of people subscribed had left. (I was sick in hospital for a while and fell put of love.) I personally would view it suss (my total views is less than my total subs) but seen as I've been making videos a month I'm quite proud of how I'm growing, and have been absolutely falling in love with making videos. You can buy subs, but you can't buy fast natural growth like I've had in a month, that's just years of experience on youtube. I'm not a pro, but I'm no rookie. So that outta the way hopefully you can look past that for now, and enjoy my content, and soon enough it'll look alot more Naturalllooo Thanks for watching. And thanks for asking, stay curious. Edit: Just incase you were thinking of buying subs, it doesnt work, they'll be deleted in a matter of weeks, it's why youtube is such a good platform with good integrity, so in general you can trust when you see High subs on youtube, but Low views, crappy videos, poor audio, lighting, rendering, editing, branding, thumbnails etc... and even still they'll be deleted quick. So in general buying subs is just like a myth tbh, Go use social blade before you get yourself worked up, or even worse, accuse someone of something like that.

@@AldertDaldert-un1bd even if he did, which his history in youtube proves he didn't, i don't care. It could be a new account with 0 subs, his content is gold to a lot of people, it is just a matter of time for that niche to find him and grow rapidly in the sim world. Don't be such a hater. If you are so much better, help people, don't try to diminish, that is a sign of fear and weakness.

i use ioverlay but man do i really wish the radar was the circle with the distance like acc.

So handy all those overlays but I use nothing. It makes a game from a sim again. Nothing beats looking around and use your mirrors as irl. Just use crewchief without spotter and you see what you missed.

Great video bro. After i switch to triples it defenetly took a big hit to my pc. I can run 120-130 fps in iracing, but as soon as I turn Racelaps on my fps drops to 45-50 fps. Any tips for not loosing so much fps. Is ioverlay less demanding?

Yes 100% I had thr same issue as you with my old pc. IOverlay is so light on performance

Just testet Ioverlay. Litterally no impact on fps. This is a game changer for me. Thanks man, just saved me 5K USD on a new pc.

You NEED to add Track Titan to your list. If your goal is to get faster, there is no easier way to do it!

Your computer is being careful... but trust me, they are safe! Racelabs is safe, iOverlay is safe! I wouldn't lie to you, theyre great programs and definatley safe!

Some of these are kinda cheating, telling you when to shift and indicator on the sides of your screen 😂 Just race, maybe grab crew chief and go race...you dont need all this. Great video though

Well they use shift beeps in formula 1, even lewis hamilton uses it for optimal shift. And modern cars have side mirrors, but if you only have 1 screen, I'm sure a small vlindspot indicator is fairgame when your competition with triples can see out there windows. But I see your point, and alot of people agree with you, keep it pure, and some people say as long as you don't change your car performance or grip levels, it aint cheating. Deffo up to each racer to decide! Thanks for watching

Seems the kids are using DRE these days instead of Crew Chief. It's Crew Chief, just... paywalled. I'm sticking with Crew Chief myself.
