It’s a shame V-Rods we’re overlooked back in the day, because to me it’s the only Harley I’d be interested in buying. Makes sense it’s popular with MCs in Germany because the engine was co-developed with Porsche, so there’s a perfect American/German national pride mashup

I’m just a rider not in a MC but I always thought it was more about what you do to make it yours than the brand. Anybody can ride something off the floor or pay someone to customize it for them but it takes real talent, dedication, and some imagination to really make it a unique part of you.

My first "two" or for the matter of getting i license was a 71 , 650 Triumph Tiger. It was a basket case when I bought her. Within a couple years she was full restored and customized for my pleasure. The former owner had trophies on his shelves for being the fastest in its class. Even as a basket case it gave me my thirst for riding. I now roll on an 07 Fatboy, It has some goodies on her but none look or sound like her. I see what you see Ride on brother.

Much respect to you Sose!! I've been riding since 1976 & have NEVER owned anything but Harley's. Currently ride a '97 Roadking that doesn't have even one stock part on it anymore. I bought it new & have everything from Jaybrake 6 piston calipers to entirely S&S motor that I built myself (it dyno's at 100 HP), D&D Fatcat exhaust, etc. No one but me has ever laid a wrench on my scooter & never will!! I also have a 1980 HD - 80/80 FLHS that I bought a couple years ago & am in the process of rebuilding!! Keep up the great videos.

Interesting to be reminded about the Triumphs as I knew two ex pagans (from the 80's) and at least one of them still rode a heavy custom Triumph that would shake you apart on the road if you did not know how to handle it. I also knew some one that had an old Indian chopper. It was pretty much the same or similar to an old Harley from the looks of it. A fun ride either way.

Not in a MC, much respect for all MC's. After having a chat with a Sgt. at Arms, Bandito one night. He asked me what kind of bike I had? I said I didn't have one at the moment. He said, what are you looking for? A Harley? I told him No! He looked very surprised. I told him I couldn't support a manufacturer who wouldn't support the people that kept them going in the lean years. I told him I wanted a Victory or Triumph. A week after talking with him I bought an older Victory, 2 weeks after that I bought a Triumph. Didn't really like the feel of the Triumph after riding it for awhile. Ended up trading the Triumph to have work done on the Victory. Loving my Victory! Currently in South Mississippi, moving soon back Oklahoma.

I think there’s an age thing too: In my teens and 20s I could go cross country on a dyna all day mostly because I couldn’t touring bike. Now I’m older, got some more cash in my pocket and the touring bikes are getting more appealing.

The BMW S1000RR might be just under 1000cc but it is absolutely insane, and makes North of 205 horsepower. That thing is a rocket ship lol 21 seconds to reach 300km/h (186mph) with a 10.1 second 1/4 mile at 150+mph I ride all kinds of bikes, but my American made bikes are a 1992 HD Fxr super glide 1340cc, 2012 HD Road King 103ci and a 2018 HD Sportster 48 with an S&S 1250cc. As you ride you find your preferences, I've seen older riders usually on softails for a more comfortable ride cause that hardtail is hell on the back. Any other shipping services you could use or should I have one of my friends over there order for me and sort out shipping myself? Just think if you want to reach a larger audience than the States and Canada it might be more appealing to European supporters to see about cheaper shipping.
