#GHOSTIN! Longer you wait longer you work for it the better it feels when you get it. When I prospected for my Club it was long time over one year I had to put in lot of work. Thing is that my Dad was one of the founding members and he didn't want anyone to say my Patch was given to me that I have earned it

You never earned your patch, you bought it from your family You got your Nomad rocker coz you were in the inner sanctum. And you couldn't keep up. You put in work for the Crips and thought that would be enough to transition into the MC life. It doesn't work that way my brother. And now you're making money on something you have limited knowledge on

Never earned a 1% patch. The closest I’ve been to being a 1%er is a United States Marine. I’ve hung around with my share of 1%ers, there’s a mutual respect between vets and 1%ers.

#GHOSTIN, southern Missouri. Honestly, for me, the patches that meant the most to me were my combat patches. When I volunteered to go to war and went. Did it twice in two wars. After 911 only 1% of Americans joined and went to war. Proud to say I did. Once in a lifetime type a thing. I've walked tall in the worst streets in the world, dealin death and ready to die with my brothers. It's something I miss terribly. The brotherhood of suffering and giving your all, day and night. Knowing death is standing there waiting for you to join him. My combat patches, mean a lot to me. I earned them, I had to do real stuff for them. SACRIFICED, so much for them. Anyway, you asked, thats my answer. Much love. -Traveling man, Summerville ldg. 234

@@MGCOHN the only ones that really understand this are those that have been there and done that. Did not collect any T shirts for it either. What branch of service you served in is not a real factor. We are all brothers and sisters from other mothers. We will stand together and have each others backs no questions asked. I am retired Army and will stand next to anyone from another branch of service. The sacrifices the all of us have made for this country, some will never understand, or be able to comprehend what we have been put through. This is how I see life now after being retired for over 20 years.

Good video. This is a life lesson that everybody needs to learn, and, hopefully, they won't have to earn it the hard way. It doesn't matter if you're prospecting for a MC, looking for a promotion in your job, or whatever. You want something that badly you put in the work and you EARN it! NOTHING, and I meanNOTHING is going to just be handed to you. As I've said before, nobody joins the army as a four star general. Once again, good video. Hope the month of December is a good one for you, your family, your friends, and your loved ones. Respect.

Great share ~ anything just "given with no effort" just breeds entitlement, If you do not do the "work" and take your time and earn the patch I don't think a person would value and respect the meaning of it ~ if it is just given with little work. The harder you fight for an honor the more you cherish it which breeds a loyality like no other... I always love your shares, always thought provoking and helps understand so much more about the culture, and others stories as well and shares. #Ghostin Much Love ~ Traci

It was a good feeling earning the diamond ♦️ but truthfully looking back I have always been a 1%er. But not all diamond clubs makes you earn the diamond a lot of em hand them out with the center patch. I think the best patch out of all of em is the top and center patch. All that Diamonds means is club and brothers first before anything else even tho I already told you I don’t think clubs and 1%ers aren’t the same even during my time in I see it getting weaker and weaker.

I've never commented on these videos but i will say you are spot on with time spent equating to respect. i became fully patched 13 months from the day i got my P. and i would never hand my shit to anyone. personally im a 99 but i hang out mostly with 1%ers and my brothers. i fucking hate watching clubs hand out a full set in 90 days or right from the jump sometimes and you for sure see a much larger turnover from those clubs. and if you are a P coming from someone who been through it, put your head down, put in work when youre asked and shut the fuck up. my brothers talk about how they didnt even know i had a personality until after i patched because i shut the fuck up constantly,

When I got out I handed my patch back. I cut it off my vest. But I had already given up on that club because the last one who was in for the right reason and was one of the first in had passed away. I have to put another good friend and founder of that club in the ground this coming Thursday. I had known them both since like 1990.

I want to really get into it. One of my other uncles was a VP for a 99 in my area. I am an army infantry vet and love and miss the brotherhood I had when I was in I want that same thing in this culture I love motorcycles and the happiness I get from seeing those who ride them and how they treat ppl too. #ghostin You teach me a lot sose I want to learn from you in so many ways

I always endured more than others, was challenged harder and grilled relentlessly by al those that believed I deserved what I was working to earn. When all was said and done, and I earned that achievement, I had made bonds with a Family of Brothers and Sisters that made the entire experience priceless; teaching me far more than those that just did what they had to do to get by.

#ghostin thank you for explaining the 1% diamond. You know, there a lot of urban legends surrounding it. I've heard stories like you have to kill someone in order to get it, or do jail time on behalf of MC outlaw business. And yeah, every legend has some glimmer of truth as every MC does thrir own thing, but my take on your explanation of the 1 % diamond is that in order to earn it, you have shown how much the MC means to you through your respect and loyalty. So even though you had a confrontational moment with another MC, throughout all your actions, past and present, it was known where your loyalties lied. That 1 % patch is actually a symbol of trust by the leaders of the MC.

Completely agree with the feeling being much better when you earn your patch over time. When I didn’t know anything about the culture, I always asked as a hang around when I could start prospecting. It took a patch to tell me that asking won’t get be anything before I finally learned to just put my work in and shut up. Took over a year to get my patch and I wouldn’t change it if I could. #roaddocs #RFFR #Ghostin

I put in the work, I earned it and was my center patch because strictly pride for me. I didn't get the diamond for another 6 months, they made sure you truly EARNED it!

#GHOSTIN. The huge similarity between MC and Military is the obvious making the grade. When I was a recruit in the Australian Army I saw Gung Ho types that didn't make it through Rookies simply because they couldn't be trusted to do the bigger job later all because of ego and self image. Of course you know what I'm on about.

  • @Then3xtpart

To me there’s 2 types of hardest patches to earn are the ones you’ll never get until you have reached the mentality where there’s no longer any selfish , clout, or personal intentions that come before being there for the better of and the progress of the club. There’s no specific patch that could be for some it’s a diamond, a brotherhood or their center , etc it’s the patch you get that comes about with that final release of any self oriented intentions when you truly have it in your heart . The 2nd hardest patch to earn are memorial patches. I say this because loosing a brother should be the hardest thing you go threw while a member of your club. I also don’t feel they should be handed out just because a bro does while you was a member and feel those who get theirs this way and see it on their vest without really knowing and having that level of bond with that brother before they passed is truly a disrespect to that fallen brother. Tbh the way the culture has got diamonds should damn near just be a 1year anvi patch if your in a 1% . I say this because more diamonds and handed out than earned these days to mfs who without that diamond are like samson with short hair. Also I feel as if there was only one way to earn a diamond was to join and stay member with a 1% for a years time the whole mess of every 99er and socical cluber just wanting that’s diamond because they think it’s for badasses we wouldn’t have these fake diamonds alot of clubs are adopting there’s to much clout on that diamond because most think you gotta kill steal or commit a crime for your club to prove your an outlaw , this is truly because of the AMAs statement about the 99 being law abiding citizens and the 1% being outlaws. Being a outlaw has been to closely related with being a criminal and not being a man who out of 99 other things he could put on for he does it for his club, for his brothers. If you can’t prove that’s where your heart lies in a years time you don’t need to be part of a 1% anyways and if your club isn’t a uniformed 1% (like the pagans are for example , see the difference in a 1%er diamond and 1% diamond for reference here) and your just given a diamond for something easy or for nothing then likely the club your part of is not really a 1% and won’t last longer than the cheap leather vest their patches are on 💯💯

Thanks brother andthanks for the valuable knowledge you’ve given that I’ve learned from these past few years. You taught me a lot about the mentality and purpose of a nomad when I was just a nomad prospect before and you hadn’t got your nomad rocker yet . We might not see eye level on a few things but I know this, i don’t know if anyone that can speak knowledge on as many topics in this culture or that could debate on disagreements with , with respect and professionalism. What you actually get around club life, getting your patch instantly would be a very bad idea for you and for the club. There’s a lot that you need to learn. Poitics, how to move in the streets, how to answer certain questions, what questions not to answer, club history etc, etc etc. Doing dumb shit could jeopardize both you and your club. Just the timeframe of prospecting gets you around many other clubs and you get to see how to interact and build relationships. You get taken out of your comfort zone, and learn how to put yourself back in it so that you don’t trip over your own tongue. Earn it the right way, and keep earning it every single day that you’re in the club.
