Got to see BACA in action first hand once. I work for County gov't so the Courthouse is at my location. One day all of the sudden we looked out the window and all these bikers started riding into the parking lot and no joke, it was at least 30 of them. We had no idea what was going on until later in the day we heard it was BACA there to support a kid who was testifying in court that day. Thanks for what you guys do.

Aww that's great. BACA should be allowed at ALL hearings everywhere. And another reason as to why COURTS MUST MUST MUST crack down on FALSE ALLEGATIONS , Badly needed resources, funds, people, time, and on and on. Be able to deal with the REAL cases like these in their videos. Once we get moved I'm gonna join BACA.

That made me feel good, like they have really really put a lot of care into how they structure their work so the child can finally feel safe. Yes, we undergo really thorough training for at least one year minimum (my chapter does 2) in addition to our extensive background checks. We're taught to remove sunglasses, make space for them to feel like they can escape, fist bumps, and a multiple of other things in child communication and courtroom etiquette. Anyone with a BACA back patch is someone safe to talk to all around the globe because these patches are regulated and audited more heavier than any police badge.

Every man is not John Wayne-level masculine, and not every girl is not Marilyn Monroe-femme. Cant' you get it? There's thousands of levels between the two extremes. It's not how you portray yourself, it's what you stand for, and stand up for, and how you comport yourself, that states who/what you are.

As a child, I lived in Utah where the first B.A.C.A chapters were organized just two years before I would end up needing them. I was among the first 100 or so children that B.A.C.A helped. I'm not saying this to brag, I just want to acknowledge how lucky I am that I lived in the right place at the right time so that I could get the help that I needed.

At this point, it really seems that Utah is the child abuse capital of the country. Considering it's the mecca of the TTI, I guess this isn't surprising. And most of it just goes completely unreported. It's a sick state, I'm glad you're out of there and super glad BACA was founded there! 💚💚💚💚 Those kids need them.

I hope you didn't keep in a secret. People who are abused may be scared of repercussions of reporting, and may even hate the friend who does the reporting. But once they actually can stop being abused and start the healing process, they will realize that reporting was the best choice all that time. By not reporting and "respecting their wishes," you are just perpetuating and validating their abuse and abuser.

I grew up very autistic and very irritable given my high hdhd and bipolar disorder, nobody understood my struggle as a kid, hardly attentive to the fact that my father was secretly abusing me, because autism makes me very unsocial and I didn't even realize it, BACA was sanctioned a year before I was born and there was a testimony I had to give against my father, my siblings knew what was going on but I did not. So I was his biggest target, I wish they had them sitting at the testimony chairs intimidating my very sociopathic father. Maybe this all wouldn't have happened if I had some self-encouragement in my life. Thanks BACA. 🤘

As former bikers, we're too old to ride much now, we commend you guys for the job you're doing. Bikers are some of the best people alive. We used to be evolved in as much local rides we could do to benefit children. We still have two Harley's but I can't ride alone anymore but still ride double some on my husband's V Rod. Still love the life style & belong to bikers Christian groups & do what we can. Keep the rubber on the ride guys & gals.

I was abused as a kid and did probably the worst thing I could've to deal with it: I forgot. I hid it away so I didn't have to think about it and just let those feelings build. Now I'm in my early twenties and struggling to deal with that trauma on a daily basis. To be fair, not only my own but my friend's as well. The worst part of finding out I was abused was finding out just how many of them had the same story. Had I had the support I needed, I would be a completely different person today. I was failed by the system and made to feel completely alone... And even though I'm a grown up, even though I can easily protect myself now, ya'll have made me feel safe in a way that I haven't felt in years. As soon as I can afford a bike, I'm devoting my life to making sure no one has to go through what I or the people I love have. No child deserves to live in fear, if the system won't protect them then we damn well will!

Heroes. I wasn't abused sexually, but I had bones broken at school... The trauma of not having anyone that stod up for me, the teachers and principle going "oh there's always two reasons for a fight, now both of you say you're sorry" as if I was to blame for getting beat up by three guys, to this day it breaks my heart to think of it. The physical pain didn't matter, it is transient, my bones healed and my scars faded. But the mental pain of feeling so totally alone... It's not a feeling any child should ever have to go through. To this day it makes me tear-eyed when I watch any of these videos. Because I know that these people are saving those children. I know hardly anyone will ever read this, but if anyone who helps children does: Thank you.

"Only God can make a tree" Love it! I know the courtroom scene was a dramatization, but it was a beautiful depiction of what I'm sure goes on every day across the country (and I'm guessing the world). I was made aware of you folks by a child/family attorney friend of mine. God bless what you do and the lives that are changed and healed by your unselfish service.

I can't say for sure if I was abused, because I have a lot of traumas that my brain has created false memories to protect myself from. As a hypnotherapist, II work with many women who have suffered from childhood sexual abuse that is swept under the rug,, often from a family member never punished, which only makes what happened to them seem as if their life is meaningless. It sets a child on a track where they have a difficult time getting their self-esteem, confidence, and the difficulties of ever having a trusting loving relationship, because they can't get past the haunt of the past. Cudos to the outside the box thinking of empowering the child. Very touching. Thank you for sharing this!
