Straight Pipes & a S&S teardrop air cleaner were the first mods I made on my 1200 sportster when I bought it. The stock pipes sounded like a sewing machine. My friends called her 'careless whisper' until I switched the pipes. Probably the most noticeable thing I've done to the bike though is I switched out the stock round front headlight for a big rectangular one that I joke looks like a haunted old VCR flying down the highway at night. It's definitely cool to have a black sportster that people say still looks unique & unmistakable from a mile away.

I prefer now personally I keep my bike basic as far a color and paint. I hate thought of I've I spend X amount dollars to do it my way and sell it or trade it I lose out. Whattup Sose, #Ghostin here in Wichita Ks!! I’ve been working at a HD dealership for 10 years roughly, and I would say from a service side the most requested modifications I’ve seen are pipes, seat w/sissy bar, bars (8/10 going with apes), windshield of all things (this Kans-ass wind!) then I’d tie in the engine work/audio upgrades. It’s not definitive tho! Gotta love the homies that come in and spend 5 G’s on bars, pipes, audio upgrades 😁 I like your list bro! Stay well man!!

Hottest things & the the best thing on any Harley is Ape hangers, chrome exhaust, new paint job, with certain airbrushing (depending on your preferences) & absolutely LOVE a chopper. I’ve grew up on Harley’s from 3yrs old & thanks to my uncle & his friends I absolutely love Harley’s. Big Questions!?! What do you think about the new laws in Australia about Bikie Gangs (1% clubs) As well as what Australia has already done to the founder of the Rebels (the biggest club in the country) Alex Vella all because they don’t want there to be any 1% clubs in the country.

My top 5 must do mods for a new bike: 1. Pipes first, stock Harley exhaust is weak and dangerous. Handlebars 2nd gotta have Apes, 3. lowered suspension- lower the bike the more attitude it has! Skulls are crucial #4 Willie G skull collection for the sinister look. And Cinco (Five) 5. “yourself”- Proper Jeans, engineer boots, a real chain wallet that doesn’t break or fall out, t-shirt from an event you actually attended and a cool but safe helmet. #ghostin.

Lol I agree with your Number 1 mod! The second one HAS to be a Stage 1 though. Hell you should do a Stage 1 before you even take the bike home from the dealership. Stock Harleys sound totally p*ssy. Gotta get that Hog sounding good before you do anything else. Number three has to be some engine upgrades at least some better cams so you have some performance behind the noise. Also if you're an outlaw you gotta go for the best tuner you can get... powervision, Thundermax or even better a Dyno tune. After that then yeah go for new bars and stuff.

Totally agree, first and most important mod is to add a beautiful lady to ride with you. :-). After that the apes for arm Comfort. I didn’t go forward control but for when I want to stretch out I’ve got a mustache bar to park by feet on. A backrest to strap my pack to was next for me as I didn’t want the bagger look. Plenty of room for gear in a pack if you do it right. Just don’t overdue and look like you’re going on a hike up mt Everest. Lol. Yep engine mods after that. Free flowing Pipes and air cleaner. I’d love to get some art done on my tank but just can’t decide on what I want on it that tells people what I’m about.
