The Deep stranding a whale on the beach and giving a heroic pose 5 seconds before realising he was about to confront the first unscripted non-Vought action of his life made me realise how entitled and pathetic of a person he actually is.

I think it's because he realised that those guys in the bout were going to crash his friend (the whale) and probably kill him lol. After all, he did some fighting. These supes actually save lives (even tho it's only when cameras are around so they can have a bigger reputation). Like, Homelander has stopped some terrorist and stuff. If I recall it correctly, The Deep and Starlight stopped some drugdealers who were coming by boat in the first season or so

Soldier boy will almost definitely come back. Maybe not in the same capacity, probably something like how Stormfront came back for season 3. They need to bring him back to really explore how he can zap the V out of supes and take away their powers.

Jensen Ackles as Soldier Boy is a national treasure

Starlight has the most underwhelming powers ever. She charges up for 20 seconds making us think it's gonna be some crazy blast but then Soldier Boy just stands up like it was nothing. She truly is one of the worst supes in the show

She may not be the best offensively, but she does have some crazy durability. Black Noir rag dolled her around like she was a mannequin and she had zero injuries or marks anywhere on her body.

In that scene where they had Homelander pinned down, it felt like Butcher loosened his grip on purpose because he was concerned about Hughie being there. It’s probably not true but it’s sweet to think that he cared that much for Hughie that he would give Homelander a chance to escape.

no, because the majority of the fanbase is men, who are going to naturally search for more masculine scenes such as men fighting or the dark twisted comedic scenes. Men just have little interest in watching women fight, or watch them do anything really. Unless its sexual in nature. 10.times out of ten, theyll pick any other scene to watch thats why that scene probably didnt make the cut
