Not really tho. The topics may be the same but the quality of how the teachers impart knowledge upon their students and how the entire experience in the institution helps in building and shaping skills and character is the true differentiator. Studying in such institution gives the student an edge over others (ofc, connections maybe part of that “edge”)

It doesn’t matter if it’s Private or Public, my children all attended public school from elementary to high school and they are excellent students and graduated Valedictorian in a foreign country. So nasa tao yan, you don’t have to attend a very expensive school to get educated . But then my children did get college scholarships from prestigious private university here in the US and proud of them. Now proud to say, one of my son graduated from Harvard Med School now working for CDC, my other son graduated in sports medicine and my daughter is finishing up her studies to become a Nurse Practitioner and with that I am grateful that they attended public school through high school and still received a good education. So just study hard and follow your dream as I said it doesn’t matter if it’s Public School or Public College as long as you get educated and get quality education, just be grateful🙏. 🇺🇸🇵🇭

A lot depends on the student concerned though. Schools like UP or Philippine Science High school are not only less expensive or even free but very prestigious. As graduates of a school in the province, my classmates and I performed very well in university, even topping graduates from those exclusive Manila schools. One can compute what huge savings our parents had in ensuring us quality education.

Sure those schools looks really nice and expensive but it's the quality of education that counts. Philippine colleges or universities is not even recognized in the Worlds 500 Best ranking. You have to have Nobel Prize winners to be recognized. Some universities in China, Taiwan, Japan and I was surprised even Thai and Indonesian universities got ranked but not a single one from the Philippines not even UP. It's sad but it's true, not a put down but we have to produce best graduates with expertise in the field of Technology, Medicine, etc.

It doesn’t matter how well the school is, they’re just necessities tools that’s given to those who can. But what really matter is the students who will do anything and everything to get the best knowledge and educations for his/her futures. There’s tools available everywhere and we call it the World Wide Web. Good for the people that have the money and for us we can have the same educations just need to do a little research and hard work.

You know 9yrs. ago we had the opportunity to to open up a American business in the Phils & we had to put our 2 young girls ( 2nd/ 4th grades) into one of the private schools there. I know, they're not going to learn anything( not bc they're not smart, it's just diff academically , environmentally,,etc) we just want our girls to have that experience!
