China I have mixed feelings on. I despise their government for obvious reasons, but their tourists are also known worldwide for appalling behavior. I know there are good and bad people from every country, but the Chinese seem to have a lot of...well, issues.

No, people that hate the USA also hate the people that live there. In the WWII countries, only the older people like the USA. There is a lesson there. If you fight a war in another country, get out before the next generation comes of fighting age. They will hate the "Occupiers" of their country.

@@oldgoat1890 This is why NATO was very poorly set up. It created a system of 1-2 superpowers and "vassals" rather than an "alliance of equals". It virtually guaranteed resentment and internal squabbling for decades. It should have been more locally based when possible (each country built up as needed), rather than US troops being stationed all over the western European continent. On a different note, what's ironic is that the people of a couple Allied nations in World War II essentially hated us then, but their children in the next generations like us much better.

When the video shows US, it shows Times Square. One of the most developed areas of US. When it shows India it only shows the most ugliest places such as slums. This is a kind of ignorance that most of the westerners have in their mind. They are still stuck in 80s-90s. World has changed a lot. Please read and grow your mindset. Thank you for all your likes. For a small minority who needs more clarification. Times square symbollizes manhattan. There are slums in downtown Los Angeles and San Francisco but they never show that. I have observed most Americans are good, welcoming and understand these differences. it’s just a small minority who makes such videos.

What I dislike about America isn't just the governmental descisions but the propaganda they feed their population with (I mean singing the national anthem every day in school? Really? I didn't sing our national anthem once in my 9 years of basic school) like the american exceptionalism and how every other countrsy is just either a commie regime or an american puppet. Now I know not every american is like that, I know many Americans that are not ignorant at all and are extremely well educated, but the fact that about half of you believe this and that I regularily run into these americans on the internet draws a picture that isn't all that good. But as I said, I just pointed out the bad things, americans are some of the nicest people in the world, and I see them as way better and also funnier friends than the average swiss (that's where I'm from )

I find it ironic how this guy didn't hesitate to say all kinds of things and even proceeded to call Saudi Arabia 'boring' but when it came to his own country he said that everyone else is just 'jealous' about the USA. There are heaps and heaps of nice, kind, generous, compassionate people in the US, but there are a small minority of people like this guy who are so cocky and arrogant. We are all humans. We shouldn't be going against each other and saying things like 'my country is better than your country.' There are way more important issues in the world and we as humans must band together and help eachother out, not pushing each other away.

@@cag19549 yes. And most of the world is quite happy to support the US people in rectifying this or at least having empathy for the situation. The problem comes in when certain US people on social media immediately try to maintain an air of superiority. It creates unnecessary dissent and division and isolates US people from global society. My own country has a horrid history of human rights atrocities, but I take any criticism in this regard on the chin since it's valid criticism. Btw: I am sorry for what is transpiring on US soil of late. We are rooting for change and progress.

You have not taken my comments about the US superiority complex and essentially stated that this is not true - so you have discounted my opinion and replaced it with your own. That is another thing which tends to irk the world about the US - the talking over others' experiences and opinions, or representing/reshaping all discussions from a US perspective. This is why there are so many groups and forums popping up which exclude US users. And no, this isn't a blanket view - I have many friends in the US whom i adore, and I believe very many things about the US is great. There are certainly a whole lot of things about the US that's greater than my country. But this belief that the whole world worships at the US's feet and everyone wants to crash through the borders to get inside is laughable and irritating. Also, it would be great if people from the US gained more knowledge about the rest of the world such as politics, language, culture, science, history, geography, etc. If only to make it easier to have conversations on international chats/forums where all participants are at least marginally informed.

"Third world countries hate us because we are wealthy" this sentence perfectly embodies the reason why people dislike US. US in foreign policy is a like an uninvited guest that comes in to your house, take a shit in your toilet and leave without flushing and complaining about the smell.

This video is without one doubt one of the most biased videos that I’ve ever seen. The US isn’t hated for being a military and/or economical powerhouse. Most Europeans simply don’t take the US serious because of the clowns which have held office as their president and their constant presence in delicate issues. If you want to be taken serious, drop the bias and learn about the truth. Especially how the US has ruined Afghanistan, left Afghans for death after invading them and leaving them in shambles, it is simply ridiculous.

No one has ever taken the US serious - and no one will take the US serious. It is the Americans who think they’re an ‘world leader’ when in fact, this is simply not the truth anymore. You know most native tribes were aggressive and brutal, right? Many records exist of the Europeans getting along with the natives and even giving them titles of respect. Unfortunately the savage tribes left a bad taste in the settlers mouths and they all suffered. A parent can only watch one of their children being scalped once and get pretty salty I'd imagine.

I am from South Africa and i was not aware of a list of the most hated countries in the world. I find this very sad. I don't think the people are hated but rather the government, its political system, policies, laws etc. I have met so many wonderful people that come from many of these countries. This situation is with all countries, governments will always find something to hate another country, through the past, wars, injustice, genocide etc and this hatred can be propagated. Let us think carefully about how we feel about countries, cities etc and not get caught up with the stereotypes.

I'm from Britain, happy not to be liked, rather our history and our influence on the modern world than a country that has nothing of interest in their history. There are countries that need to be liked which I find very needy and a little pathetic. Need to pull you up on your comment on Britain essentially inventing slavery, think you will find slavery has been around since time immemorial across all cultures races and continents. Dublin had the largest slave market in Europe even before Britain was a country. What you could have mentioned was that Britain was the only country in human history to use its power, wealth and military dominance to end the slave trade. Up to that point slavery was an accepted part of human existence in all countries. People should think about that!!

Well, the USA has only been around 230 odd years, in that time they have killed and wiped out Millions of natives taking their lands etc, and this agter when they were independent. They have been in the majority of most modern wars. Today they police the world, promote democracy when America itself has an unstable/ failed one. A million at most. 12 million natives dead in the current borders of the U.S. from 1492-1900, but how many of those were from initial diseases? Common causes? Warfare between tribes? Plus, as you said, there’s only been just under 250 years of American independence. So the initial conquest (1492-1776) cannot be attributed to the American government. Also, would you rather America have not been in both World Wars? America’s presence saved many more lives in WW1 and pushed the Nazis back. Even if the Soviets had still taken Berlin, America wouldn’t have been able to keep most of Western Europe free and democratic. Our government might not be the best, but it is much better living here than in Iran, Afghanistan, North Korea, China, Syria, Yemen, etc. School shootings are bad. I can’t and won’t argue against that. I assume that you’re not an American, but if you really think about it, your life is at least partially better because of America.

If America never became independent it would have still most likely been a powerhouse due to being on the other side of the Atlantic, which means factories and industrial areas and especially cities were not bombed day in and out, so production would never have faltered. However, I believe that if America lost the Revolutionary War and stayed under Britain, the Americans would not be eager to help Britain, unlike a colony like Canada, who stayed loyal to Britain. This would therefore reduce army and industrial output, as the Americans would see WW1 or WW2 as a way to break free of Britain or just not care what happened to Britain because of their hatred. We just don't know.

People may hate the USA because of the rampant capitalism, but it should be said that there are in fact many countries where the average person is worse off. Hating the USA for being more expensive to live in seems like a waste of time to me; I don't hate Australia because their food prices are way higher, and I don't hate France because they pay outragously high taxes, so why hate us Americans for having an expensive healthcare system? That's just our politics, man. Being a flawed democracy still means that it is a democracy, and what really matters at the end of the day is that a country can function properly. It may not be #1 in this regard, but hey, being ranked 25th when there are 200 countries isn't something to hate. The USA spends a ridiculous amount of money on its military, and has a tendency to invade countries and commit warcrimes. However, it also has a tendency to uphold the Pax Americana, which is the single most unprecedented era of relative world peace in the history of the world, so while we should remember the warcrimes, we should also remember that the modern world which the entirety of Western society loves so much was built strictly in an American image following the closure of the second world war. While the CIA is responsible for installing awful people in dozens of countries, it should also be said that this was mostly done in the Cold War in order to end the spread of Communism across the planet (compare North Korea to South Korea, and you understand why this matters), and the large majority of Latin America's problems stem from other sources. I find it disingenuous for Latinos to blame their problems on an outside source firstly and blame them on themselves secondly; it should be the opposite. I hate America, but I also love it. People who just hate or just love it do not understand that a country is a country, and there are many good and bad things that every country does. I find that people like you are very ignorant, or biased in some way, kinda like the narrator of this video who could have written a WAY better script.

This is a pretty heavily stereotyped/biased script in the opposite direction of the original. Of course there are the stats which I'm fine with, but to claim that most US citizens believe that their country is this perfect democracy, the best in the world at everything, and has never made a mistake is very wrong. You deffinitly don't live in the US I'd say or else you would know that lots of us have clear issues with the country and want to see it improve. Constantly people on both sides complain about the political corruption for example. There are movements all over the country for human rights issues, employment/union issues, laws to fight gun violence, etc. Most people hate the healthcare issues and the wealth gap. People seem to imagine us in the US as these fat, lazy, uneducated people who believe they live in a utopia when in reality we are just (admittedly fat) people who want to see our county improve, just like all other county's citizens do.

@@manofacertainage See this is related to liberalisation. WTO's aim is to liberalise international trade and it is supposed to allow free trade for all. But it is seen that developed countries like USA have unfairly retained trade barriers. On the other hand WTO forces the developing countries to remove trade barriers. One example is that US government gives large amount of money to its framers which is against the rules of WTO. This allows the farmers of USA to sell their farm products at abnormally low prices in other countries which is very bad for the farmers in developing countries. This is just an example from past but there are more.

"We are rich, so the world hates us" -- Again, as an Indian citizen living in the US I wish to clarify not every American is as heavily biased as the person who has made this video. Majority of my American friends are the loveliest, fairest, educated and the nicest people who don't have any sense of arrogance. No country, including US, should be "hated" and our borders are just imaginary lines. Problems need to be fixed and we must be more compassionate to each other. We are all human and we must strive to raise the bar for all people, embracing our differences, recognizing our contrasting histories and not creating more divides. Real issues like climate change won't care if you are from Jakarta, Mumbai or Los Angeles.

There are a few things I want to tell you. First of all, Turkey did not commit a massacre or genocide against Armenia. What happened was the deportation. Because the Ottoman Empire was at war with all of Europe at that time, and all the Armenians within our borders were causing conflicts and confusion. Our government took the Armenians out of the country by trains. For the last 20 years, our country has offered to investigate the issue together with Armenia.but the Armenian state always turned down this offer because they knew the truth would come out.they just use their powerful lobby all over the world

ok, so here's some reasons from a West-European (Dutch) point of view why people dislike the USA. 1) Complete ass-backwardness in social security. Seriously, you have one of the biggest economies *in the world* yet you can not provide your own people with a social safety net? What a JOKE. Leading into the cause -> 2) INSANE military spending. You REALLY don't need to spend as much on the military as the USA does to have a good and effective military. If you lower it by a quarter of the budget, you can already improve your country for the better by a MILE. 3) Companies exploiting their employees. Is there seriously nothing you can do to let your working people actually work in *good* conditions? I mean, there's PLENTY of things but all you focus on is being greedy and raking in more and more money over the backs of the people. 4) Absolute lack of interest in protecting the environment and general safety, like safe drinking water, fire hazard control etc. 5) Gun laws. I don't think I have to explain this one. 6) Protecting and adopting rights for minority groups. Seriously... it's not that hard. Yes, you might have to basically completely build your police force from the ground up again, but that's not an excuse really. And actually PROPERLY train them for at least 2 years before letting them be active in service while you're at it. 7) EDUCATE your youth about the outside world! The world doesn't revolve around the USA, and especially in the global society we live in these days, at least some basic knowledge about the rest of the world would REALLY benefit y'all.

I'm American and I disagree and agree with some of your points. Before I continue so you don't get the wrong idea I'm not attacking you. You are entitled to your own opinion and I respect that I'm just giving my own thoughts. 1) I don't know what social security is so I'm not even going to try with that one 2) We need a strong military and I'm completely for a strong funding towards it as we need the safety for our people and if the government countrys like North Korea and Iran didn't do what they do then we wouldn't need a strong military. Don't hate the player hate the game. Besides that I do think we should stop putting our noses in other conflicts. 3) Companies exploiting employees is sadly big in America as its the biggest capitalist country. 4) I disagree because if completely didn't care about the environment we wouldn't have a bunch of national parks like we do. We also have a lot of animal and garden sanctuaries and plenty of parks. Yes, I understand that we don't take care of the environment the best but saying that we ignore it would be a lie. 5) Gun laws are interesting because I do agree that people shouldn't be able to purchases heavy fire arms like LMGs and assault rifles but I'm completely fine with people being able to purchases standard pistols and shotguns. Guns are part of American culture and taking them away would kinda take a piece of our culture away but I do agree that the gun laws need to be more strict 6) This one I disagree with. Our laws protect everyone not just "minorities". If anything, if they made laws that just protected "minorities" that would ironically make people more split then pulling them together. I am Mexican-American so I'm considered a "minority" but I think that's just all just propaganda. Police aren't the problem and even if we did build it from the ground up the same stuff will just happen again so it would be pointless. I can assure you most cops aren't racist. However I do agree with your point that cops should get more training. Cops don't really get much training so a lot of them panic so yeah I do agree they need more training. 6) Education here does suck but for a completely different reason. You can research it if you want because I'm to lazy to get into it but you're saying that we don't learn anything about other countries that's a lie. We learn plenty of other countries at least the basics so you're wrong there. That's my opinion in your points however I still think you're entitled to your own opinion and I will respect it so please respect mine. Edit: I didn't proof read this so sorry if you have a stroke reading this.

@@corinnepmorrison1854 It's a perception by foreigners: we know that each country has some great and wonderful people, but the behaviour of their governments suck beyond belief. Usually this suckiness is in foreign policy, and the USA had a really bad habit of pushing around its neighbours over US corporate ambitions and telling people "do as I say, not as I do". Speaking as a foreigner, Biden's been good so far - hasn't started any wars or annoyed any allies, and everybody stuffed up on Afghanistan. Trump, otoh, was a bit of a foreign relations disaster - the decisions all seemed to be aimed at "today" and there was no apparent consideration of ramifications. The country I expected to be on the list and wasn't was France. Must've handled their colonial past better than the UK.

I think the main issue with the US is the military presence, America has a tendency to act like the world's police and get involved in every major conflict. That, and the US has the most military bases of any country in the world by far, well over a thousand, in pretty much every country, situated so they can strike anywhere at any time, it's all a bit staggering

When USA was an isolated country. The world was in fire. Second world war changed the exterior political for US. Maybe US could retourn to the isolation, but other regional powers should keep the peace in the world. An it is difficult to reach.

They had their flaws just like the US, but at least then it wasn't one country managing everything. Maybe India could do more in terms of protecting southern Asia from China, etc., but there unfortunately aren't many moral nations in a position to easily do that stuff right now. As an American, I wish there WERE other moral true superpowers today, it would make our foreign policy so much simpler and easier.
