4:13 I know every flag by memory, that's obviously Antigua and Barbuda, which is one of my favorite flags. Also where he put most of the flags is unacceptable. For example: St. Lucia, Botswana, Micronesia, Bosnia, Albania, Kosovo, Cyprus, Cape Verde, Kiribati, Guyana, The Bahamas, Germany, Israel, Armenia, Oman, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka. Obviously just my opinion though.

Unless the Welsh feel more threatened by Americans than English (For sure, America's choice of next president is going to be worse than Britain's choice of next prime minister...)

​@@wotermelon_This might be a hot take, but I feel like the Dutch Empire's flag is kinda overrated. I kinda understand that people want the Netherlands flag, especially the red stripe change to the orange stripe (which is quite understandable since the orange colour is really quite important for the Netherlands). But changing it with the Dutch empire's flag, is kind of weird. Especially when the orange is a little brighter, so it's a weird match since there's a white in the bottom of the orange stripes. Don't get me wrong, I do think the flag of the Dutch empire is quite better than the current Netherlands, although I feel like the current Netherlands flag should be a good achievement to the Dutch people since it was the first country to use red-white-blue colour. But I feel like it was too imperialist to me. But if y'all still want the red stripes in the Netherlands flag to be orange, just make it a little bit darker.

@@CountryHistory193 That flag has significant importance in the modern history of the Nederlands like the Dutch Empire flag has in the older history of the Nederlands. That flag is reminiscent of when Guilder was the reserve currency and the days of the Dutch East India Company. The Dutch (you could say sadly but nonetheless) are extremely proud of their Imperialist past, along with being the most ashamed of their Empire day crimes (weird, ik but maybe ties into that "Dutch directness"). Most people like to separate the current Nederlands and the Dutch Empire as kind of different historical entities representing different things. (Unlike the British who still mentally live in their glory days and can't digest that they are far from the greatest now.) The flags represent different eras of history both very important. Trying to merge them wouldn't make sense to us. I'm assuming you're American (by "y'all"), maybe for you European tricolours might look uninspiring ( seeing your national and state flags), but all these "similar looking" flags represent different things for all of us Europeans. Your suggestion aesthetically speaking makes a lot of sense but that loses the value of the flag. It's like saying the white stripes would look better starting from the top on the Star-spangled Banner, but maybe it has specific importance to our American brothers.

I'm just giving my opinion about the Dutch Empire's flag. Idk, I just get annoyed about many people that say that the Netherlands flag, especially the red stripes should change to the colour orange because it's more appealing to them than the current one because it's too "boring" and/or "basic red-white-blue picks". But apart from that, I apologise for my silly "hot take". Also, I love how you called me an American, just by seeing the word "y'all" in my comment. But it is so wonderfull to see how Indonesians forgave and moved on from their grudges against the Dutch, and how us Dutch are sincerely ashmed and regret our ancestors actions. At the risk of crating an international incident, I'm surprised by the assumption in the video that New Zealand "copied" Australia's flag. In fact, the opposite seems to be true: the NZ ensign was officially adopted in 1902, and Australia's in 1954. In 2018, the NZ foreign minister even advised Australia to stop copying his country's flag. So it's probably an injustice to say that NZ "copied Australia's homework."

Portugal’s flag is a low A But Portugal’s old flag (the same but with blue instead of green and white instead of red) goes even harder, S tier in my opinion

As a Bangladeshi, i really hate it when people say we copied the Japanese flag because it is kinda true but our flag just has like way more story to it. If you want to read my stupid a$$ you can "The Story Of The Bangladeshi Flag" Its 1971 like January or smth and Bangladesh's flag was a bit different back then with the shape of the country in the red circle and that map was yellow. and after our war of Independence, they changed it to what it is right now. Now, the red circle without the map just represents the fact that like 3 million people died in the war and the country is just covered in blood. So, moral of the story, never judge a book or in this case flag, by its cover.
