VARNA MUST BE RECOGNISED! Although tbf Gauche is the best series of all time, Varna is definitely in the top 5 imo.

Hi, if you want to see the more complex side of storytelling mapping you should check out Tempus Angelum by Ilisian. It is definitely a lot more complex than this kind of mapping but its still cool!

Drew. This is a mapping series. Mappers aren't predicting the future. Mappers are making an alternate future scenario just for funsies. In this specific series, Alternate Future of Your World, Kyiv Mapping and his fans, making comments in each episode, make the series together. Which, I guess since I've watched every episode of this series and made one (unsuccessful) suggestion in the comments of one of the more recent episodes, I guess that technically includes me, too.

There are mappers who make alternate HISTORIES as well. I highly recommend FALCON Mapping's "Renovatio Imperii" or Moro Mapping's "Alternate Past of Europe" if you're interested.

Just so you know, this series was started before the Russo-Ukrainian war, which explains the ridiculously eazy Russian invasion. This was a great video, I suggest you watch all the other volumes, and trust me, there's gonna be some surprises.

I for one think veg biryani exists and shouldn't be called palou as the process for both of them is different (Also Hyderabadi biryani is superior to every other biryani)

drew, if you’d like, there are many more videos of this genre, and my suggestion is for you to watch Gauche by Frkon. to me and to many it is one of the best mapping series of all time, and it has some more complexity behind it which i think is really good and really hard to do (since your basically telling a full story with just countries). would definitely recommend, and glad to see you’ve finally discovered (at least a small bit) of the mapping community!

Drew has FINALLY found out about Mapping! That was a long time comming!

This video was made back in 2021 so before the Ukraine war happened. Also welcome to the mapping community, it’s basically not predicting future events, but rather do alternate futures for fun and make a story with them. They also do alternate history series as well. I never knew the day that Drew would actually start watching mapping. Again like others said there are two sides to mapping. The coubtryballs side which is more light hearted and you have seen in Kyiv’s and the more plot developed ones that are more dark and without CBs (aka the edge/most popular genre). Highly suggest to view both of them.

Drew's gonna revive this style of Countryballs mapping

Only real issue with this and a lot of future/scifi stuff is that we know all the elements up to 118. We aren't going to find a new element unless its a completly different kind of matter. That means it would have to be a new compound, not element. And if it's a compound we'd likely be able to synthesize it soon enough after getting a few samples so it would really just depend on how much did they find occurring naturally, where else can it be found, and how easily can it be made.

I highly recommend korean mapping’s pax americana/brittanica nova series. Set in the 22nd century, America and then Britain tried to maintain global peace in the face of high global tensions, broken relationships, etc. 10/10 a great series.
