Top 10 Most Expensive Necklace Collection In The World
Ойын-сауық
Necklaces have been around for thousands of years, as evidenced by many archaeological artifacts that date way back before prehistoric writing was even invented. There is no doubt that necklaces are integral part of the human history.
Some were fashioned from raw materials to drive away evil spirits and keep maladies at bay. Others were crafted to become a symbol of wealth and power. A few were made to signify a person’s status in politics and society. Still, most necklaces are meant to enhance one’s beauty and as tokens of a person’s love and affection.
Whatever the reason, necklaces have been present in our culture and in the civilizations before us. Stemming from that line of thought, necklaces will remain a strong trend long after we are gone.
Here are the 10 most extravagant necklaces in hHistory and what made them special among the rest.

Hi there 🤗, thanks for dropping by, my apologies on that aspect, it is loud, it is one of my old videos, i was new back then and didn’t have much talent in editing 😅. I hope you’ll take time to look at my newer videos..
These necklaces are so magnificent and just think, they’ll be around long after we’re all dead.
I’ll take Marie Antoinette’s necklace please. No need to box it, I’ll wear it.
The 'Mrs. Winston' necklace is my VERY FAVORITE!!!! It looks as if the diamonds are FLOATING! JUST STUNNING!!!!
Loved the material, but had trouble hearing you over the background music.
What necklace speaks to you?, Is it the price?, the design?, or the history? drop your comment below and lets about talk about it.

Some of the diamonds are rare because of it's colour, supposing they weren't altered with heat. But it remains as a fact that diamonds are not as rare and therefore shouldn't be as expencive. However, the market is being heavily controlled by a few that keep the supply scarce.

But their rainbow super sparkle is expensive to me....imagine the diamond if they were rare... how much even more would they cost?
Why bother having a narrator when the music is so loud. Can hardly hear him!

Why is everyone complaining about the background music???? I don't seem to have that problem i can understand clearly without high volume or headphones..
The Christies necklace reminds me of Princess Margaret's choker. It's comparatively simple in design but so decadent. I love it. The Heritage in Bloom, though, is a standalone. It's such a departure from the fine Western jewelry I'm so used to seeing in paintings and museums. I adore it.
Stunning. Thank you! If only I were wealthy!
The voice over's diction compliments the music -- both loudly off.

The heart ocean not 20 million. Now its more than 100 million
The replica of 'The Heart of the Ocean' was made with a heart shape Sapphire as you can clearly see in the picture, not a blue diamond as stated.
@marijeangalloway1560
Жыл бұрын
Yes, I also picked up on that error, then wondered whether they might be other errors, given that I would think it's well-known that the main characters in the movie were clearly fictitious, and so was the magnificent blue diamond necklace "The Heart of the Ocean." As I understood it, after the picture AND its wildly popular song "My Heart Will Go On" became huge hits, a real Heart of the Ocean necklace was created to look just like the one in the film only using a sapphire as the central stone, rather than a blue diamond. No such blue diamond could ever have been found; blue diamonds are rare and I don't think are typically that dark sapphire blue. (A good example of a large naturally blue diamond is the infamous Hope Diamond. Come to think of it, they could have borrowed it from the Smithsonian to be the Heart of the Ocean, but there's that supposed curse....maybe not.) Anyway, I believe the sapphire version was debuted at the Oscars by Celine Dion, who was to sing live the (of course) Oscar-winning song she had made so famous. I think the film should have gone with "sapphire" from the beginning, as the color clearly indicated. Though I suppose for the film itself, dark blue glass or cz was used, both for insurance purposes and because the sapphire necklace would not yet have been created.
@krisushi1
Жыл бұрын
@@marijeangalloway1560 I couldn't ever see a movie studio using a real gem, even a sapphire when filming. For insurance purposes, they'll usually go with something fake. As far as the story in the movie went, I think they wanted to portray just how rich Billy Zane's character was, which is why they probably went with diamond. You're quite right, the sapphire version of this necklace wasn't made until after the movie was released. I have to be honest here and say that heart shaped gems are my least favourite. I just don't find them sophisticated for a gem of great value, no matter what it is. It does upset me when Hollywood uses real events and people in movies but changes them to suit their purpose and then add in the fictitious love triangle. I own the book by Robert Ballard who was part leader of the teams who found the Titanic. They checked as many safes as they could reach but nothing has ever been found of great value. It would be too hard to try to even look everywhere as it's simply too dangerous. It always gets me at the end of that movie when 'Rose' throws the necklace back into the ocean. What a waste! If she didn't want it, give it away to be sold and the money donated to charities, although not very Hollywood-like. I hated that ending. I was put in an awkward position earlier last year when a young girl and some other children decided to join me in a spa which joined a swimming pool. One of the older children had mentioned Titanic in conversation but the young girl then turned to me and asked what happened to Jack and Rose! I felt terrible but told her the truth that although the ship did sink, Jack and Rose didn't exist. Just so it didn't upset her too much, I did throw in that for all we know, there may have been many love stories that occurred during that short voyage, we just won't know. I'm a great believer that fact is more interesting than fiction. If you wanted a replica of the Hope Diamond Necklace, Charles Winston, Harry's nephew, makes then up every now and then from CZ's set in Sterling Silver but not at a price I'd be willing to spend on something fake. I have a love for coloured gems in particular but nowhere near the size of anything you'll ever see on a video like this. Yet, I'm quite proud of the collection I've amassed with the many jewels in many colours. It was only a few years ago that I finally bought a diamond ring, although I have many tiny diamonds as decorations around other gems. My favourite blue diamond is the Oppenheimer Blue. The closest I'll get to a colored diamond will probably just be a Champagne or Cognac, yet in no rush at this point.💖🕊
TYVM!
I like #5 the Heart of the kingdom and #6 Leviev's Vivid Yellow necklaces the best . They're elegant and beautiful.

@@AndrewPidor The center stone of "The Heart of the Ocean" necklace is not a blue diamond as stated, but a sapphire. It has the deep blue color associated with sapphires. The necklace was created to look like the fictional "Heart of the Ocean" from the film, which WAS supposed to be a blue diamond. (But it still looked like a sapphire. To see an authentic large blue diamond, check out the famous "Hope Diamond" in the Smithsonian. In its white diamond necklace setting, it would today be high on any "expensive necklace" list.)
