"Almost There" is my favorite on this list. It's got a catchy rhythm, is hopeful while being grounded in reality, and the visuals and Tiana's voice are both beautiful.

Also to me, It is sensational how it makes you feel that you are about to achieve your goal in that almost near future and with effort achieve your dreams, I love the line: "Fairytales can come true, but you can make them happen, all depends of you"

So glad you mentioned Show Yourself alongside Let It Go. The song from the sequel is a true gem.
“Let it go”, I can hear that song a hundred times and each time I will sit there with tears in my eyes. One of the best songs ever!🤍💙🤍💙🤍💙
The live-action Hercules remake really needs a scene where Hercules actually says, "Yo, I don't wanna fight Cerberus."

Oh yeah I love this top.. The songs I feel most empowering are: Hakuna Matata (makes me feel happy and great day), What else I can do (I hearing it, I feel inspired to let all my artistic creative potential go wild), Let it go (it's great how it makes you feel free, and embrace what makes us special; Show Yourself too, I love the lines: "I'm here for a reason, it could be why I was born"), Try Everything (I love the rhytm and the most inspiring lines for me are: "Birds don't just fly, they also fall" and "Nobody learns without making mistakes") and Almost There (It is sensational how it makes you feel that you are about to achieve your goal in that almost near future and with effort achieve your dreams)
"I'm still Here" from Treasure Planet. Frequently overlooked film.
Try Everything, Zero to Hero, Go the Distance and Just Around The Riverbend were my favorites from this list. Both get me pumped to take the next step. 🤩🤩🤩
”Surface pressure” and ”The next right thing” should’ve been on the list 😍
"I'll Make A Man Out of You" is my go to Disney song.
"Try everything" and "What else can i do"? Were definitely my favorites from this top. Happy friday Ms Mojo, take care and God bless you, see you soon for more, greetings from Colombia.
Could've mixed up this list a thousand different ways, and I'd still be ok with it.
How am I not surprised that let it go is number 1?
Part of Your World and Almost There are my top 2 favorite empowering Disney songs so I'm so happy they made the list 😁👏🏻💕🎶

You Forgot Another Lion King Song: I JUST CAN'T WAIT TO BE KING!
I'm so glad that you add "I am Moana" instead of "How Far I'll Go"
I’ll Make a Man Out of You is on my workout playlist
Kid Danger: *wearing his big trucker pup* "I'll make a man out of you" is my favorite Disney song! Behind "Reflection" and "Almost there"
A lot of these songs are among my favorite Disney songs of all time. I wish Out There from Hunchback of Notre Dame was here but otherwise, solid list!
I remember during my freshman year of college. There was a huge hill up to the freshman male dorm that I always struggled climbing on my Bike. Then one evening while listening to “Go the Distance” on my iPod. I finally was able to make the climb and I never struggled with it after that time.
For me let it go will always be number one, followed by speechless in a close second and the iconic I’ll make a man out of you.
I relate so much to “What Else Can I Do” and I love “Try Everything”. My other favorites include “Go the Distance” “Almost There” and “Make a Man out of You”
9:54 and 12:59 this songs is one of my favourite musical numbers in Disney history

Isn't that kind of the point of her character? Her song is the moment we discover that we don't even really know what Isabela is really like because she's hidden behind her attempt to be perfect.
"Out There" Hunchback of Notre Dame.
“Almost There” was one of two songs that kept me going during the last year of my dissertation. The other was Josh Groban’s “Brave.” Both always gave me the pick me up I needed.
"We Know the Way" from Moana always strengthens and empowers me (even though it's not on the list!)

All of them of course! But Almost There hits home for me. Tiana sang her heart out!
Am multilingual and I love the Italian version of Touch the Sky. This is actually my first time hearing the English. The biggest problem with this song is that it is like only a minute long. Moana's Know Who You Are hits right in my heart, moreso than I am Moana. (but again, only a minute long. ) It feels like I am singing to my lost self. Make a man out of you makes me feel like Rocky. I think I newd to make this a playlist.
Top 10 Hilarious Disney Adventure Moments
WHAT DO YOU MEAN FROZEN TURNS 10 THIS YEAR?!?!?!?!?!
Reflection
Do The Next Right Thing, from Frozen II. You might not get it unless you’ve also struggled with depression and suicide, but that song teleports you right back to your lowest most helpless moments and says “it’s ok to struggle, you’ve got this and here’s how”, and does so using a phrase from actual therapists. It is utterly gutting. But empowerment isn’t for when you’re feeling strong, it is when you are weakest and about to give in, permanently. I’ve never listened to it without crying. And that’s why it should have been #1 on this list.
@BG-be8di

yeah, truly The Next Right Thing is comforting for when we go through such hard moments and feel weakest and that we sink into pain and sadness
Hakuna Matata should be on this list, and not as a notable mention Almost there is top notch!

Part of Your World is the greatest in my opinion. It’s a song that represents people who come from a minority background and want to enjoy the same experiences of life as others. Yes, BUT (and I know this will probably sound like nitpicking), "Part of YOUR World" is actually a reprise. When Ariel sings about human life the first time, the title is "Part of THAT World." Why is this important? Because Ariel has not met Eric; she hasn't even seen him at this point, but she *already* wants to live on land (even if only temporarily). She doesn't suddenly develop a yearning for the human world when she falls in love with Eric--he's the fulfillment of her dreams...not the beginning. She's been collecting human memorabilia for years--and only after she's amassed a whole cavernful of that stuff does she decide to leave her ocean home *permanently* .
@NYChica23

The meaning of the song actually isn't what you think it is. 😕
@SonicGamerGirl2006

@1992disney Even so, the meaning of the song itself when taken out of context is much more meaningful.
@1992disney
Жыл бұрын
@@SonicGamerGirl2006 You don't get it. The song isn't about embracing yourself. Instead, it's about running from your problems, isolating yourself from the rest of the world, abandoning your responsibilities, and not caring about others. Not to mention the fact that Elsa was supposed to be a villain.
@SonicGamerGirl2006
Жыл бұрын
@1992disney Maybe, but that was ONLY when Elsa wasn't actually truly free, given the trauma she went through, and that she ran away just to avoid hurting others with her powers out of fear. I understand you trying to give me the actual meaning of the song within the movie, but my point still stands, especially when you listen to the song and read the lyrics out of context.
@1992disney
Жыл бұрын
@@SonicGamerGirl2006 But that's the problem. The message's really twisted and messed up, when you think about it. If Elsa didn't want others to get hurt, then she should've tried to undo the eternal winter because that's literally doing more harm than good.
Let it Go, number 1, why am I not surprised?

For my entire life, ever since I first picked up The Cat in the Hat, I wanted to write a book of my own. It seemed like a far-fetched dream for so long, but as I began formulating stories and writing them down, i realized I had a book on my hands. Now, after years of hard work, and listening to some of these songs on repeat, I am now successfully a published author. I am the first in my family to accomplish the feat, and my parents have never been prouder. Never lose sight of your dreams, people! Motivate yourself and you can accomplish anything!
And show yourself
I love all the songs in there and they all have great messages in it ! The best two songs to describe me is Let it go & show myself

Speechless
I love this video , i love this movies
The one that speaks the most to me is "try everything " from zootopia.

Almost There was on my Studying playlist for College. I listened to it as I was working toward my Bachelor's degree in IT.
Oh sweet!
I would have liked this list more if I was younger. I grew up with the honorable mentions but I haven’t seen a lot of the movies that made the list because my kids don’t like them (or me) enough to watch them a lot with me!
Was there any doubt as to what would be #1?
