That was heartstring puller and a gut wrencher all in one. Beautifully done...really deserves it's top spot on this list!

Laurie Hernandez and Val's foxtrot (Season 23) right after she found out her grandmother passed always brings me to tears, and Lindsey Stirling and Mark's Viennese Waltz (Season 25), which she said was like getting to dance with her late father one more time, are the two that always get me.

Yes Laurie's dance should of been mentioned. She actually cried after the dance.

When Jordin sparks was crying as Selma Blair danced, I started crying. 😢 I also loved the fact that Ron Perlman who was her former Hellboy co-Star congratulated her on Instagram and gave her a shoutout.

Besides Selma Blair's goodbye dance, there were two others from season 31 that made me emotional: Charli & Mark's contemporary about her overcoming anxiety, and Trevor & Emma's Halloween contemporary.

The one that gets me every time is Derek and Julianne´s dance to Unsteady

I watched Bindi’s dance again and tears started streaming down my eyes! To anyone who has lost someone especially a parental figure like I have it tugs at your heartstrings! So beautiful!

I already had a feeling that Bindi Irwin’s dance would’ve been number one, if not the top three.

Finally seeing a James and Sharna routine making the top 10. His freestyle was also very emotional tbh I would have thought to expect Nyle and Peta's Freestyle to Sound of Silence.

It was so great seeing James and Sharna back together after her injury, and this Argentine Tango was such a stunner. I loved what they did during the last four beats of the song--each beat punctuating their final movements. James gently pushing Sharna to sit in the chair, she gracefully lowers herself across the chair, and with the last beat James executes a perfect handstand over Sharma's body as she falls into a backbend. What a finish!

Derek Hough and Kellie Pickler's freestyle dance got me. The songs words and the moves at the right time of the song were perfect for everything she went through

Nyle's freestyle to Sound of Silence gets me every time.

Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas should of been on the list. Their Viennese Waltz in honor of her late father was tear jerking. Not to mention that Mark was wearing her dad's scarf and hat so it was like he was there on the dance floor.

Normani and Val's contemporary (s24) is one that moves me every time I watch it. I think one of Val's best dances

JR Martinez and Karina Smirnoff! That one was gut wrenching

I imagine that Steve Irwin is within the audience very proud to seeing his daughter dance dedicated to him and his family keep his legacy alive.

I think Kel and Whitney’s contemporary deserved more than an honorable mention I remember watching it for the 1st time and 😭 my eyes out

Lea Thompson and Artem's contemporary for her father always seems to be forgotten but it was beautiful. Also agree with others that Mark and Lindsey Sterling's waltz should be on this list too

Another big emotional dance was Charli D’Amelio’s dance when it came to her depression and anxiety. I cried during that whole dance. I was shocked it didn’t get a perfect score.

Wow you left out JR Martinez; dance to "If you're reading this" in honor of the troops who didn't make it home, Victoria Arlen's tribute to her parents, and Kellie Pickler's dance to Beneath your beautiful" everyone on here is deserving, so maybe it should have been a larger list.

AJ McLean and Cheryl Burke's rumba beautifully illustrated their struggles with addiction.

Without a doubt, it's Selma Blair and Sasha. Selma is battling MS and doing it so bravely and beautifully!!

Dance often gets a bad rap but it is an art firm and it is so beautiful.

Bindi and Derek's dance was wow, Steve would be so proud of his daughter 🥲 Leona Lewis' song Footprints in the Sand fits so well to it

James van der Beek's foxtrot with Emma was really emotional as well.

Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnolds contemporary always gets to me and Jordin Sparks and Brandon Armstrongs jazz routine also Bobby bones and sharna contemporary routine about his mom‘s addiction and dad leaving that gets me too

I feel that Victoria Arlen and her partner Valentin Chmerkovskiy should have been remembered for the dance that culminated in her coming face to face with the wheelchair she’d used for many years due to paralysis secondary to Transverse Myelitis and Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis.

I totally love Noah and sharna freestyle 💕💝

There were some good picks here. But there are a few I feel were missing: Meryl and Maks’s freestyle, Laila and Maks’s waltz (tribute to her dad Muhammad Ali), James and Sharna’s freestyle, Nick and Sharna’s contemporary, and James Van Der Beek’s foxtrot (after he and his wife had a miscarriage). 🙏🏻

I came to see if Amanda Kloots’ routine to Live Your Life was on here. I don’t watch DWTS (Strictly Come Dancing loyalist) but I found the routine because I loved Nick and I love Amanda and her family. Life isn’t fair.

Keo and Evanna Lynch's contemporary in honor of director and Evanna's friend Simon Fitzmaurice who passed away from ALS. It's the only dance I saw live that made me cry. I'm shocked it wasn't even an honorable mention.

selma’s goodbye dance had me in shambles

Nile DiMarco's dance to "Sound of Silence" in his final should have been included, IMO.

For James Hinchcliffe, I would have gone for the dance where he narrated what he remembers from the accident at IMS. He had his shirt open so you can see where the piece of the car went through him. It was really more emotional, I think.

This year we could easily add at the top the waltz in honor of Len

Think this video might need to change after Selma’s withdrawal dancing and the whole thing that went with it. Probably one of the most emotional things to have happen on the show.

I hate that Lauren Alaina's Contemporary isn't included anywhere. She danced to the song she wrote called The Other Side that she wrote for her stepfather that she lost to cancer. Seeing her reach for her mother, and her reach back brought the tears, her tears at the end had me going.

I personally think Karina Smirnoff and J.R. Martinez's Rumba should be in this list. I've seen every season, and few dances have affected me like that one did.

To be honest anytime dancers dance a contempory routine. I am a big sobbing mess....

the only one that made me cry (like... ugly cry) is billy Crawford's performance in dancing with the stars France. he had a great performance about the time he was addicted to alcohol and the moment he got out of it.

I'm sorry but some of these shouldnt be up here let alone multiple pros ahem (Derek Hough) be mentioned multiple times. I been a DWTS watcher since the first episode and have seen countless underrated emotional dances.
