TOP 10 LINES at Disneyland
Ойын-сауық
We all hate waiting in lines. FastPass really comes in handy when you're in the park. But sometimes it pays to be patient. Today, allow me to show you through my personal top 10 favorite lines at Disneyland Park.
From Indy to Snow White, there's a little something for everyone if you know where to look. And sometimes, it can make the wait just a little more bearable.

I think one of my favorites that wasn’t mentioned is Splash Mountain. It’s always given me a feeling of quaintness yet uneasiness for what you’re about to experience. And I love reading the little story on the wall, (I always end up holding the line up a bit to read every piece of the story whoops.) I just absolutely love walking into that ride! It’s so beautiful.

Something that I’m sad you didn’t mention was the period appropriate music in the Jungle Cruise Queue. One of the songs they play is recorded by Glenn Miller for a movie from the 20’s and 30’s called The Santa Fe Trail. They also play Moonlight Serenade which really fits the ride. I remember just standing in the line and identifying each song they played to the best of my ability. It’s a fun game when you have a group of musicians!
Thank you for this video. I had the good fortune of living the first 16 years of my life just about 35 miles from Disneyland and found myself there at least a hundred times in that span. However, as I am wheelchair-bound, I am usually fated to going into the ride through the accessible entrance and as such, miss most of the fun of the queues. I've ridden the majority of these rides, but there were parts of them that I have never seen due to being fast-tracked into the ride. So, thank you for helping me see a part of Disneyland that I haven't.
How dare you film the eyes in Indiana Jones? I have been going my whole life without seeing her eyes!

I always have to smile when I hear E ticket. I grew up going to Disneyland in the 70s and 80s when ticket books were still in use. I wonder how many people nowadays understand the original meaning of “E ticket ride”.

I walked into Disneyland yesterday with no wait then walked to Galaxy’s Edge. Then at 8am I got into boarding group 26. 3 hours later we were on Rise if the Resistance. It was glorious.
Big Thunder will always be my favorite. The frontier country music you hear while navigating this old mining company seeing all the old posters and mining equipment always makes me happy
My dad gave me his decoder card from when the ride first opened when they originally started handing them out
Disney World list needs to happen for sure
I love the Mr. Toad nomination! He’s my favorite storytelling themed ride. I have been riding it since 1958🥰
I really like the star tours line. Droids, the flights announcements, and the tour ship with the blast damage on it! Since I was little, that has been my favorite!
Indiana Jones line is tbh enough for me to call to its own whole attraction. Like, if it was just that I'd still be happy, say hi to Patrick the Leprechaun, and enjoy the worlds Disney manages to create in just southern California. The theming of these things is so beautiful and immersive I just... Yes
Something I like about the Pirates Queue is that it subtlety transitions into an old bayou hut from the fancy house looking area. It works so much that sometimes I don’t even recognize that the background changes until I start to look.
Anyone else remember when the Jungle Cruise jade elephant was a centerpiece of one of the tables inside Gibson Girl?
Terrific idea for a video, Dallin! Love it. Roger Rabbit and Indiana Jones are probably my faves...haven't been on Rise yet 😁
You know what I would like but would never happen? A hand drawn 2D animated movie about the Society of Explorers and Adventurers, tying in all thr rides they are involved in somehow
My Disney World Top 10 Lines: 1. Flight of Passage 2. Rise of the Resistance 3. Expedition Everest 4. Tower of Terror 5. Seven Dwarves Mine Train 6. Haunted Mansion 7. Smuggler's Run 8. Peter Pan 9. I'm so glad I had the privilege to go to the pre opening of rise of the resistance (a family member of mine is a cast member and I was the guest) and no spoilers here but all I could say is the ride is absolutely amazing and I'm my opinion one of Disney's best rides yet. It's very interactive and feels like you are apart of the movie tbh. I hope you all get to experience it soon!
Going to DLand on Thursday for my first ride on Rise and a friend’s birthday, hope it being Thursday dulls the crowds
not disneyland, but i love the queue for the finding nemo ride at epcot. it’s not especially flashy but it just feels nice to walk through
Honestly, the queue for tower of terror was obviously amazing, but in my opinion the queue for Mission: breakout is absolutely incredible. It has props from almost every single marvel movie (or at least recreations) and the whole thing is just filled with Easter eggs and details. The boiler room even has one of the old yeti animatronics from the Matterhorn.
Now, THIS is the content I subscribed for!
People need to find the audio music/announcer from the Jungle Cruise queue and listen to it. I am sad that people are so loud in the queue that this can’t be heard. It is fabulous and sets the tone so well for the attraction!
I wouldn't have included Pirates on that list personally, since it's just... an indoor line. But Indiana Jones definitely #1. After that, in my inability to be bothered with a particular order: Enchanted Tiki Room (the whole lanai preshow), Haunted Mansion, Roger Rabbit, Mickey's House and Minnie's House (if you think of them as queues for meeting the character rather than walkthroughs of their own), the Jungle Cruise, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, and your logic for Mr. Toad is sound. My favourite Disney queues, of any Disney rides, happens to be for my tie for favourite Disney rides: Journey to the Center of the Earth and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea in Tokyo DisneySea. They are Indiana Jones-level amazing and integral to understanding the story of the rides and the port of Mysterious Island, to the point where I actually opted to stay in the regular line instead of using the single-rider line. Other favourite queues have included Pirates of the Caribbean in WDW and Disneyland Paris, Haunted Mansion in WDW (even better than Disneyland's), Phantom Manor (the best Doombuggy load area of them all), Expedition Everest, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Little Mermaid at WDW, and Tower of Terror at WDW and formerly DCA.

CoryTheRaven yes the Tiki Garden, deserves at least an honorable mention!
This was a really good video you have the best content of Disney videos😁
An interesting fact about Indiana was the mirrors at the very beginning of the ride are probably a reference to how the worshippers were able to accurately sculpt Mara by using the ol' Medusa trick.
I think there is another important thing about the Indy queue: the sheer distance traveled, and once in the temple; the lack of switchbacks. Think about how long it takes to get to loading even when there is no line. You literally must go on a fairly long journey, a walk as immersive as any treehouse, just to get to loading. Like the monorail and boat to MK, it’s like a bit of required meditation that transitions you from the park to the world of the attraction. Really, the time, distance, and how long you’re just stewing in this ever evolving world you walk and move through is so brilliant. I feel more like I’ve truly gone somewhere on this ride than almost any other.
Even as an old school leaning Disneyland ride person, I think the Buzz Lightyear Astroblasters line is awesome. Seeing the animatronic Buzz with his animated face was mindblowing the first time.
Just casually ignore the Tower of Terror I guess. That's okay... Granted that is California Adventure and closed but still...
Not Disneyland, but the queue for Journey to the Center of the Earth is my fave, along with Tower Of Terror (at DisneySea as well) and Gringott's at Universal Orlando!! I would happily live in any of those queues

I love the lines at disney, and your list was spot on. My personal favorite is jungle cruise, I love everything about it. Thanks for making awesome videos. Keep up the good work.
My favorite line is through the door that says “staff only” because there’s never a wait
the best queue is the shortest one. I haven't been to disneyland in a loooong time but I agree the indiana jones ride is pretty good.
I went on Indiana Jones when it first opened and there were even more interactive elements like a stone on the floor that moved and stuff falling from the ceiling if you shook a certain bamboo rod. Of course these were doomed to quickly fail but they were so impressive. I am surprised that it is still considered the best ride line about 25 years later. My favorite ride tho is Splash Mountain; the emotional buildup and release thru the story on that ride is second to none.
hey man, as much as I love your vids and can't wait to watch the next one, if you have stuff to do, so take care of your things, and then when you're good, work on your vids, get back at us!!
Is there a queue to see that Kermit
rise of the resistance will always be my favorite line! everyone and everything in that queue (even the land arround) immerses you so wonderfully and the line literally made me hyperventilate
Nice vid Keep up the good work :)
13:37 let me introduce bird Dallin
Though definitely not the best out there, my personal favorite queue is the one at splash mountain !
These are all really great. I love Space Mountain, even though it's relatively simple compared to some of the others. The narrow, angular hallways give the feeling of being on a space station.
I very much enjoyed this!
People mover. Everything about the people mover is perfect. Too bad I never got to ride the one in CA.

Great ride but it didn't really have a themed queue, unless you want to count walking through the Tomorrowland Entry Mall to get to it.
My favorite line at Disneyland is the one that is 90 degrees and is made out of a fine mahogany wood.
you going into hibernation for 2020 until 2022 aged far too well 😂 you knew something we didnt
My favourite Disney queue (that isn't in Disneyland cause I've unfortunately never been!) *has* to be the Tower of Terror in Tokyo DisneySEA, Hotel Hightower. I pretty much exclusively ride that ride FOR the queue. And theming. It has a totally unique concept/story to the parks (not themed after Twilight Zone) that's based off of the SEA adventurer's club and Disney Park lore, and the entire queue is GORGEOUSLY Imagineered. This particular Tower hotel is set in New York, and the concept is that it was an old, extravagant turn-of-the-century hotel owned by Harrison Hightower III, an eccentric (rich) elderly man who exemplifies 'Coloniser' to a tee, who traveled the world and collected 'exotic' artifacts to decorate his hotel, and was a member of SEA. However he stole a sacred idol, the Shiriki Utundu from an isolated tribe, which he brought home that cursed him and the hotel. One day while holding the idol and riding the hotel elevator, the elevator car shot to the top and plummeted straight down, killing Hightower at the bottom. The hotel was condemned until a New York Preservation Society decided to open it up and hold tours for the public (all the Cast Members are Tour Guides!). And I won't spoil it entirely if anyone intends to go (check out videos on youtube for the whole experience), but the outside has (English) newspaper articles telling the story, signboards advertising tours, and moments of subtle creepiness - lightning will 'strike' and you'll hear real screams and "Tower of Terror" appears to glow for a split second over the Hotel Hightower sign, etc. You enter this amazing, gilded-but-decrepit hotel that's that's seen better days, there is a layer of dust on everything, old & dried flowers in vases, so many beautiful touches. Polite tour guides. And then a GREAT preshow that I refuse to spoil but involves *magic*, plus wandering the back storage rooms of the hotel, etc. before boarding the ride. So. Goddamn. Good. Every time.
Lol love that my brother is the Skipper in the Jungle Cruise footage 😭😭😭✨❤️
Pls do one of these for California adventure

I agree with you on Indy! I literally can't bear to do single rider on that ride because it feels like you miss a lot of the experience and set-up for the ride itself.
I LOVE the Haunted Mansion one. I went to the Disney World one as a kid for the first time not knowing what was in store. We went into the stretching room and I wondered where we were going to go, only for the room to start stretching. It was really cool.
3:00 : “I don’t know what’s so funny?” 😂
I will admit that the Indiana Jones queue is the best. My favorite is the Big Thunder Mountain RR queue. You are surrounded by the ride and it builds excitement for the ride as you watch for and listen to the trains whoopin' all aboot you!
i’d love a queue ranking of disney world rides too!
Loved this video!♥️
When I was a kid, I would have said "Star Tours" before it was remodeled. Seeing C-3PO and R2, in person, working on that ship, along with the Mon Calamari watching from above was something really special. Sure it's pretty much the same now, but I preferred the blue starspeeder 3000. While I am at it, I found the Smugglers Run's queue kind of lacking. I think it needed more droids in the area where you enter the building, so things to look at.
For Walt Disney World, I waited in line for an hour twenty ish for Flight of Passage but it felt like maybe 30 minutes tops. The line kept moving the whole time and there was so much to take in plus the in app interactive things kept my brother and I excited.
I loved the video and the channel!!!
Just be sure to bring an MP3 player. I did that 10 years ago when I went to the Disney parks in Florida. Got through a Jason Bourne novel and a bunch of podcasts. I was 18 at the time.

Great video! Haunted Mansion begins outside. Theres lots of cool things to see.
I'm old enough to remember when the line for the Jungle Cruise was still just...a line. No real theming, a simple back and forth under a flat roof. The redo in the, 90s?, really stepped it up.
Cool video man! Really enjoyed it! I would have also included splash Mountain, I don’t really like the ride that much but I think the queue is pretty amazing in terms of detail and theming

cm's call the big room you mentioned in the indy queue just the "rotunda". also there's a typo on one of the walls by rotunda lol
A lot of people think I am “lucky,” because I get to skip a lot of lines due to my wheelchair. But I would gladly wait longer in line to get to see some of these cool queues! Now, that’s not me saying I wish they’d do a New New Fantasyland-type makeover, as I love the park as is...but it was nice to go to California Adventure and get to go through all the same lines as anyone else. A good example is the Indiana Jones ride: while others get to pull on ropes and search for Easter eggs, the line I go through is...rock. Just plain rock as far as the eye can see. It some places you can sort of peer into the “ regular” line and its goodies, but for the most part that stuff isn’t accessible (pun only slightly intended). There are some rides I can’t go on at all (Casey Jr. Train, Sleeping Beauty Walk-Through, etc.) but that doesn’t bother me overmuch as I can enjoy the vast majority of the park. I am hoping there is a “chicken door” at Mission Breakout, because I am a huge Marvel nerd and would really love seeing all the stuff in the Collector’s collection. Thanks for another great video!

❤️ your vids since like 2016 or 17
I would put Star Tours’ queue on that list, as well. But having differing opinions is part of the fun.
Your never ending love of Jungle Cruise is admirable😄 My top 3 are... 1.) Pirates of Caribbean 2.) Haunted House 3.) Indiana Jones Admit my choices are based mostly on pure nostalgia and not technical..but this is what "Disney" as a whole is to me anyway so that's just how it is💁♀️ Watched many spoiler videos of the Rise of the Resistance ride, and hope to actually ride it someday.. because I can definitely see it breaking into my top three. Good luck on your move!
I agree with this list order!
