Roku ,I had one and think it suckered big time,with a firestick I get all programming for free with no advertising, you just ha e to be smart to know how to work it

The only problem i find is for all the Free streaming apps that you are allowed most of them have the same content both tv and film wise ,it's nice now and again to watch some originals without having to then end up subscribing to the sites that contain tv series and films that i want to watch .Annoying and gets expensive.

Tubi is my #1 channel, and Pluto is definitely my #2! Freevee would be the last one i ever download.

Are you saying I can upload my music CD collection onto Plex? Wouldn't that have copyright issues?

I just unlocked it and get all the streaming services all the features without ads etc. plus editions before they come to other users. took me a solid 20 hours a year ago and and bit of solder. What would people pay? $200 including postage?

You can still use it with a VPN. I was watching Roku tv just a few minutes ago with NordVPN on my firecube from Perth Australia. About 1000 channels.

Mine is not a Fire stick or a Fire cube, it's an Insignia TV with Amazon Fire built in. Can I get those apps on there? Thanks.

First time I watched a movie on Pluto (on my Smart tv) it kept skipping backwards and I couldn’t get to the end of the movie. Why? Now I just use freevee and Tubi. I emailed their customer service and they tried to help me but couldn’t really answer why it happened over and over again.

It's kinda complicated for the average computer user. You have to learn about converting DVDs to computer files, then setting up your computer, or preferably a standalone server with the Plex server. The movie files from your computer HD are then loaded into the Plex app. Then, they can be accessed anywhere in the world on an app like Firestick or Roku or on your own local network of computers/devices. I'm sure there are many videos on KZread showing how to set up.

@@tomcarter3586 You're welcome. There is no cost for any of the software to use and view Plex. But I would recommend the 4.95/mo premium version. There is no other app of it's kind available that will do as much for your entertainment needs. Live TV from your antenna, Plex own free channels and movies, your cable or satellite channels all rolled into one program guide and interface. I've been with it since the beginning and couldn't live without it. Good luck. It might take awhile to "get" it, but you won't be sorry.

I bought a ROKU for half price over the holidays. I like it better than the fire stick/cube/Alexa TV. I kept getting errors from apps that don't play well with Amz devices. I've not had trouble with my ROKU and haven't needed to force stop anything. With fire devices I had to stop all the time on Paramount+ and others. I'm going to sell off the Alexa stuff

So why are you watching this guy's video 2hen u don't have a fire stick any more? Yes there good for Netflix and stuff but that's about it, on firesticks we can get the iptv apps and as many emulators as we want, roku are useless unless u only want them for Netflix or Amazon prom3

Seemed like a good idea, but it was impossible to follow your directions and get the things that appeared on the computer screen. the Firestick is less than two weeks old. I can't understand the problem. I am cognizant of my intelligence, I am convinced that that is not the problem. I am convinced that the problem is nomeclature. People giving instructions assume that everyone understands that the people that understand the nomenclature assume that certain terms that have a clear meaning to the initiated have either no meaning or the wrong meaning to many other people. I'm not interested in fire TV because you know I have Roku and Roku has been up dating the stuff which I love. And I read on my Android that Roku is the number one device and I'm glad for it.
