FYI....We have 3 tv's. One has the firestick, the other has one built in and the other one doesn't have it. I'm definitely buying the firestick for the other tv. It's WELL worth it! Good luck.

I have a good number of the suggested apps that you have mentioned in the video. I also highly recommend the local now app as it has quite a variety of normal TV stations unlike some of the other apps. Ads don't bother me one bit as they allow me know what is out there. I cut the cord way back in September 2019 and I had to figure out back then how to catch some actual TV. I tried having a TV antenna which did not workout as well as I would have liked it to have worked. It was not up until the beginning of this year that I had reliable internet.

What I've noticed, most of what comes on throughout the day on Cable networks you can find 85% of it mostly free in all of these apps.

Probably not. Smart TVs have their own operating system built in. Some of those will run on Roku, some will use something else. But if you have a smart TV, you won't need to get another streaming device to plug into it.

I love Pluto tv’s flicks of fury channel (basically their martial arts channel).

I'm surprised that LoCast was but included. Also as "new cord cutter" we still may want to know how to get regular TV / Cable and not movies, yet you glossed over the TV sections of those that offer. Still gave you thumbs up

Brill,,,, thanks,, ps I've sideloaded a amazon tablet when they first came out and put the Play store on, so should it be fairly simple, I'm* IT* geek shall I say, in the know how to, but never worked on Kodi or Firestick, I'm stuck what to buy, the cube, ie AMAZON Fire TV cube Alexa voice? 4k, or will I be better starting with a basic stick?? ( well, more so than PC World lol)

What I'ed like to know is what internet do you recommend? I've heard that T mobil is touchy to use!

Fire stick needs more capacity...I have 55 active apps on my amazon fire stick ( when I add any more ..I get the "over capacity " warning ...and yes I'm aware of flash drive trick...just wish Amazon would take care of the problem )

You could get more space if you clear your app's Cache or uninstall apps that you don't use that much.

There's lots of videos on KZread telling you how to increase firestick capacity. Even adding a hard drive and connecting to ethernet to solve buffering problems. Knowledge is power. Go seek.
