I went on a Koontz binge this year and read 13 of his books. It was my first time reading any of his works. I started with The Key to Midnight and could not stop! Damn good author.

Larry McMurtry's Lonesome Dove was first written as a screenplay early 70s for a John Wayne western but John turn it down so Larry converted it into a novel. Glad he did .

I am now fired up to do more reading!---I've read a number of Larry McMurtry's non-fiction books and found them engrossing. In one of them Mr. McMurtry said that he considered "Lonesome Dove" to be as good as "Gone With the Wind". Of the books I've read it's probably no surprise that my favorite is called "Books"! The author tells about how books were introduced into his life and about owning a bookstore. "Writing" and "Hollywood" are two other favorites and I'd like to have all three in my home library. P.S.---Another great t-shirt!

You have to read Youngblood Hawke by Herman Wouk. That book was awesome. 800 pages but was a page turner. Fictionalized of Thomas Wolfe who wrote Look Homeward Angel. Great book. I read that a couple of winters ago. I still remember it like I read it yesterday.

nice well rounded list. I've read Dan Brown, Angels and Demons and Di Vinci Code and really liked both. I've read Deception Point but it's not a Langdon series novel, thought it was okay. I always like reading cold cold environment type stories in winter like The Shining and The Terror. I gotta pick one out this year and up for any suggestions. another great video

I picked up The Clan of the Cave Bear series a few years ago at a library sale and still need to read them but had been planning to start on them next year. Glad to hear it’s one you loved. I’ve read all of Dan Brown’s books and love them. I am constantly pausing during my reading to look up things he writes about. Unfortunately The Lost Symbol was my least favorite of his books but perhaps you will enjoy it more than I did. Hope you enjoy your reads!📚❄️

At the moment I have not Much time for reading Stephen King. I lately bought the Fleming James Bond collection on E-book, started with Casino Royale, almost done now. furthermore I've been collecting Karin Slaughter books, Because 1) she's a thriller Author and 2) Will Trent (by Karin) and Jack Reacher (by Lee Child) have a story that is overlapping called Cleaning the Gold. And I want to read Jack Reacher quite badly... started to collect that series a bit, and gonna continue to collect the 26 Parts in Jacks story. Question: Have you ever Read Slaughter, Fleming and/or Child, If so who do you Like the most, Trent, Linton, Bond or Reacher? (only Allowed to Awnser in book character.. not as movie..)
