If Harvard is questionable to be in top 10, it’s a joke for Cambridge and especially Oxford to be anywhere close to top 10. At least Harvard has more Turing Award recipients that Cambridge and Oxford combined.

Have u tried the cs50 course? Easily one of the best computer science course out there with one of the best professor I’ve seen in my life. (Which to be fair I haven’t seen many cause I’m still in school but still he’s a legend)

The fact that you put EPFL Zurich and singapore over Imperial College the British version of MIT the stem powerhouse just shows it all really

These QS ranking are based on international industry reputation which are biased towards some universities. Cornell has a much better Computer Science department than Harvard but its not even in the top 10

Honestly for anything tech related you are better off studying in a cheaper decently reputed university (unless obv if its MIT or harvard or smth). Most recruiters dont give a fck about your college, they are just looking for the required skill. Rankings only really matter if you wanna something like medicine or law

I think Oxford University is the best Computer School in the globe but other centres are also top notch like Gottingen or Heidelberg also rock the boat. However the lack of Visas to Western Nations is a big stumbling block to aspiring African students.

Where you get a CS degree from doesn’t matter when it comes to jobs. I’ve had co workers that studied at MIT or Harvard for Comp Sci while I studied at my states university.
