Who knew all of these already? Also the pickblock does work with other keybinds. I have mine set to ‘N’ which is binded to a button on my mouse. It works :)

@@yashank_singh Oh, I've done that lots of times. Fortunately never in lava, though. I was talking about dropping from inventory. I just didn't stop to think it could be done outside of the toolbar.

This is a LIFESAVER after playing bedrock for years I have been so confused with java recently, Thankyou!

I’m a Bedrock player that just started playing Java. I’m using these tips for the future! This video is a lifesaver.

Back when I played, using my hotkeys (or number keys if u use those) were a lot faster than having to switch hands a million times. With enough practice u can completely organize ur inventory with hotkeys in a half second or less and when I try to switch hands I can’t really pay attention to where I’m going so kinda defeats the purpose of not having to open my inventory, although this might be because I primarily played on 1.8 and below. The most important thing tho is practice. If u choose to use hotkeys, make sure to change them so that u can access all 9 of ur slots without having to take more than one finger off ur wasd (this is even more important for the switching hands method). Once u found hotkeys, don’t change them. It’s much harder to build muscle memory if u constantly change ur hotkeys. If u play on 1.9 and choose to switch hands, u should practice in singleplayer to get used to switching hands. I still think that hotkeying is easier because when you switch hands you’re going to be rapidly switching between ur hotbar slots while ur doing it.

These shortcut keys r actually useful for those newbies who have started playing minecraft java. I have saved this video as it may come in handy in future for me. :)

Feedback for your videos: love your redstone/farms content, but would like if you explain what the components do in the system - most videos just tell you what to place and where, I thought it'd be useful to know why and then viewers might figure out improvements if they understand how the systems work.

i didnt know all these were uncommon to use, i've been using all of them (except the offhand one, i think mainly because i always organize my inventory before going places lol) for a long time! good thing you shared this tho, so everyone else can learn too!

"Ctrl + Q to drop a whole stack" Fun fact: Ctrl + Q is the keybind for closing applications on MacOS. Kinda like Alt F4 except you press it accidentally all the time.

You need to hold shift while double left clicking, either that or you've changed some keybinds

Glad all these Clever HotKeys still work till now, been having a tough time building in creative mode and trying to fix my inventory and put things in chests but you certainly helped me with that. I subscribed and liked

shift-clicking an item while you're on the crafting table also helps to get immediately a stack of the items you want to craft :) now i'm not struggling with bamboo to get sticks for my trading villager

you can also use the save hotbar trick to clear your hotbar, if you use an empty hotbar save.

I knew literally all of these but the one about cycling gamemodes, but I do know there’s a keybind to go from spec to creative and vise versa

I'm a new Java player since I come from bedrock, and I'm used to playing on Pocket Edition with an Xbox controller and there the buttons are simple and life was easier, but when I played Java I was suffering so much from not being able to to many of the things I did before and could find the right keys, but this was so useful, thanks!
